בשנת 2014, בימים האפלים שלאחר חטיפתם ורציחתם של גיל־עד שער, אייל יפרח ונפתלי פרנקל הי״ד, מתוך כאב, אמונה ונחישות — הקמנו את שמורת עוז וגאו"ן.
מה שהחל כגבעה מוזנחת בלב גוש עציון, הפך בזכות מתנדבים, תומכים ואנשים מאמינים, לשמורת טבע חיה ונושמת — מלאה במשמעות ציונית, וחינוך לאהבת העם והארץ. כיום פוסעים בשביליה אלפי מבקרים: ישראלים ואורחים מהעולם, הלומדים את סיפורה ומתחברים — באופן עמוק ואישי — לארץ ישראל.

What began as a neglected hillside in the heart of Gush Etzion was transformed—by volunteers, supporters, and believers—into a living nature reserve filled with Zionist meaning, learning, and hope. Today, thousands of Israelis and visitors from around the world walk its paths, learn its story, and connect—deeply and personally—to the Land of Israel.

A new solid wood pergola, measuring 5×5 meters, to be built on a wooden deck and accommodate approximately 20 participants, meeting the needs of the many visitors to the reserve.
