שגריר ארה״ב נפל בתרגיל נגד מתיישבי יו״ש - שגריר ארה"ב בישראל מייק האקבי הגיע לביקור בכפר הערבי תורמוס עיא (כפר שרוב מוחלט של תושביו מחזיקים באזרחות אמריקאית), במהלך הסיור , לקחו אותו אנשי הכפר לנקודה בה עובר רנג׳ר הביטחון של המתיישבים של חווה סמוכה כשהם עושים את הסיור השגרתי סביב החווה.

וכך יצרו מצג שווא כאילו הם ׳תופסים על חם׳ את המתנחלים מסיגים גבול.

 השגריר נפל בפח, צילם את המתיישבים בטלפון הנייד שלו והעלה את הסרטון לרשת X. מעל הסרטון הוא כתב: "ביקרתי אמריקנים תורמוס עיא כדי לשמוע סיפורים מטרידים על מעשי טרור פליליים מצד חבורת מסיגי גבול שמסתובבים בעזות מצח ברכושם של בעלי נכסים חוקיים. מעשים מחפירים שאינם משקפים 99% מהישראלים".

U.S. Ambassador caught in a setup against Judea and Samaria residents

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee visited the Arab village of Turmus Ayya, a village where the vast majority of residents hold American citizenship. During the tour, the village residents took him to a location where the security ranger of a nearby Jewish’ farm routinely passes as part of its regular patrol around the farm.

In this way, the Arabs created a false impression, as though they had “caught the settlers red-handed” trespassing on their property.

The ambassador fell into the trap, filmed the settlers with his mobile phone, and posted the video on X. Above the video, he wrote:

«“I visited Americans in Turmus Ayya to hear disturbing stories about criminal acts of terrorism by a gang of trespassers brazenly roaming the property of legitimate property owners. Shameful acts that do not reflect 99% of Israelis.”

מפלגות הימין הולכות ומתרבות, ובכל אחת מהן אנשים טובים, ערכיים ומוכשרים. וזו בדיוק הבעיה: כולכם טובים -  אז במי לבחור?

אבל בבחירות הקרובות השאלה אינה רק מי ראוי להנהיג את מפלגתו. השאלה היא מה יקרה למחנה הימין כולו.

ריבוי המפלגות ופיצול הקולות יגרמו לכך שמפלגות לא יעברו את אחוז החסימה, וקולות רבים של הציבור הלאומי ילכו לאיבוד. פיצול שנעשה מתוך רצון טוב, בסופו של דבר, יפיל את המחנה כולו.

לכן אנו קוראות לכם: התאחדו. אפילו באופן טכני.

An Appeal to the Right-Wing Parties: Take Responsibility for the Entire Camp

The number of right-wing parties is growing, and each one includes good, principled, talented people. And that is precisely the problem: you are all good - so whom should we choose?

But in the upcoming elections, the question is not only who is worthy of leading his or her party. The real question is what will happen to the entire right-wing camp.

The proliferation of parties and the splitting of votes will cause some parties to fail to pass the electoral threshold, and many votes from the national camp will simply be lost. In the end, fragmentation, even when driven by good intentions, will bring down the entire camp.

Therefore, we call on you: Unite — even if only in a technical alliance.

Not because there are no differences between you, and not because you are unworthy. On the contrary. But because your responsibility is greater than your own party.

Israel is facing fateful decisions.

The country is more important than any party. The camp is more important than a place on the electoral list.

Do not put us, the voters, before an impossible choice. Do not allow right-wing votes to be wasted and turned into a victory for the other side.

This time, we must not repeat the mistake of 1992. Now is the time to show compromise, flexibility and leadership, find common ground - and unite.

Take responsibility for the entire camp.

For nearly 60 years, Judea and Samaria (and Gaza) have remained in limbo, while on the ground, the Arabs are creating facts.

Who will declare sovereignty there first—us or them? The State of Israel or, G-d forbid, a Palestinian state? That is what the struggle is about in the upcoming elections.

We have launched a series of videos to put sovereignty back at the top of the agenda and back into all of our minds.
