מפלגות הימין הולכות ומתרבות, ובכל אחת מהן אנשים טובים, ערכיים ומוכשרים. וזו בדיוק הבעיה: כולכם טובים -  אז במי לבחור?

אבל בבחירות הקרובות השאלה אינה רק מי ראוי להנהיג את מפלגתו. השאלה היא מה יקרה למחנה הימין כולו.

ריבוי המפלגות ופיצול הקולות יגרמו לכך שמפלגות לא יעברו את אחוז החסימה, וקולות רבים של הציבור הלאומי ילכו לאיבוד. פיצול שנעשה מתוך רצון טוב, בסופו של דבר, יפיל את המחנה כולו.

לכן אנו קוראות לכם: התאחדו. אפילו באופן טכני. 

לא משום שאין ביניכם הבדלים, ולא משום שאינכם ראויים. להפך. אלא משום שהאחריות שלכם גדולה יותר מהמפלגה שלכם.

An Appeal to the Right-Wing Parties: Take Responsibility for the Entire Camp

The number of right-wing parties is growing, and each one includes good, principled, talented people. And that is precisely the problem: you are all good - so whom should we choose?

But in the upcoming elections, the question is not only who is worthy of leading his or her party. The real question is what will happen to the entire right-wing camp.

The proliferation of parties and the splitting of votes will cause some parties to fail to pass the electoral threshold, and many votes from the national camp will simply be lost. In the end, fragmentation, even when driven by good intentions, will bring down the entire camp.

Therefore, we call on you: Unite — even if only in a technical alliance.

Not because there are no differences between you, and not because you are unworthy. On the contrary. But because your responsibility is greater than your own party.

Israel is facing fateful decisions.

The country is more important than any party. The camp is more important than a place on the electoral list.

Do not put us, the voters, before an impossible choice. Do not allow right-wing votes to be wasted and turned into a victory for the other side.

This time, we must not repeat the mistake of 1992. Now is the time to show compromise, flexibility and leadership, find common ground - and unite.

Take responsibility for the entire camp.

Ben-Gurion did not invent the roads or the hospitals—they were already here.

So what did he do? Through the Declaration of Independence, he declared sovereignty.

For nearly 60 years, Judea and Samaria (and Gaza) have remained in limbo, while on the ground, the Arabs are creating facts.

Who will declare sovereignty there first—us or them? The State of Israel or, G-d forbid, a Palestinian state? That is what the struggle is about in the upcoming elections.

We have launched a series of videos to put sovereignty back at the top of the agenda and back into all of our minds.

אנו, בתנועת הריבונות, המקדמת מזה למעלה מ-15 שנה את החלת הריבונות הישראלית ביהודה ושומרון, מברכות את שר הביטחון ישראל כץ על החלטתו להעביר סמכויות אכיפת חוק מהצבא לידי משטרת ישראל.

חשוב להבין: אין מדובר במהלך טכני בלבד. מדובר בצעד בעל משמעות מדינית עמוקה - עוד צעד במעבר מאחריות צבאית לאחריות אזרחית, ועוד נדבך של ריבונות ישראלית בפועל.

במשך כמעט 60 שנה מתקיימת ביהודה ושומרון מציאות אנומלית, שבה למעלה מחצי מיליון אזרחים ישראלים חיים תחת שלטון צבאי בכל הנוגע להיבטים של אכיפת החוק. העברת הסמכויות לידי משטרת ישראל מכרסמת במציאות הזאת ומחזקת את המשילות האזרחית הישראלית בשטח.

זהו גם מהלך נכון מבחינה ביטחונית: צה"ל צריך לעסוק במשימתו המרכזית -  הגנה על מדינת ישראל ומלחמה נחושה בטרור - ולא בתפקידי שיטור ואכיפה אזרחיים.

אנו מברכות את השר כץ ומקוות שזה יהיה רק הצעד הראשון. הצעד הבא צריך להיות העברת האחריות על אכיפת החוק לידי משטרת ישראל בכל יהודה ושומרון, הן כלפי האוכלוסייה היהודית והן כלפי האוכלוסייה הערבית.

כך נתקדם לעבר אחריות ישראלית מלאה על השטח, פירוק הרשות הפלסטינית,  יטול הסכמי אוסלו והחלת ריבונות ישראלית מלאה על יהודה ושומרון.

החלטת השר כץ היא צעד חשוב בדרך להפיכת המציאות ביהודה ושומרון למציאות אזרחית ישראלית נורמלית, ולמימוש הריבונות.

PRESS RELEASE: Minister Katz’s Decision — Another Dramatic Step Toward Sovereignty: Transferring Authority from the IDF to the Police

 

We, the Sovereignty Movement, which for more than 15 years has been promoting the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, welcome Defense Minister Israel Katz’s decision to transfer law-enforcement authorities from the IDF to the Israel Police.

It is important to understand: this is not merely a technical move. It is a step of profound political significance — another step in the transition from military responsibility to civilian responsibility, and another layer of de facto Israeli sovereignty.

For nearly 60 years, Judea and Samaria have existed under an anomalous reality in which more than half a million Israeli citizens live under military rule with regard to law enforcement. Transferring these authorities to the Israel Police chips away at this reality and strengthens Israeli civilian governance on the ground.

 

This is also the right move from a security perspective: the IDF should focus on its central mission — defending the State of Israel and waging a determined war against terrorism — rather than on civilian policing and law-enforcement duties.

We commend Minister Katz and hope this will be only the first step. The next step should be to transfer responsibility for law enforcement to the Israel Police throughout Judea and Samaria, both with regard to the Jewish population and the Arab population.

This is how we will move toward full Israeli responsibility for the territory, the dismantling of the Palestinian Authority, the annulment of the Oslo Accords, and the application of full Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

Minister Katz’s decision is an important step toward transforming the reality in Judea and Samaria into a normal Israeli civilian reality — and toward realizing sovereignty.
