Biden Visit-Open letter to the Prime Minister

A number of Zionist organizations including Regavim, Ad Kan, Habithonistim, Im Tirzu, ZOA and the Sovereignty movement have launched a campaign against concessions to the US administration during President Biden's visit to Jerusalem.

Biden's visit to Israel

Dear friends,

US President Biden is coming to Jerusalem next week.

The pressure on the Prime Minister will be very strong. The situation should be balanced with counter-pressure from the Right.

We want to publish an open letter to the Prime Minister and ask him to stand firm on Israel's interests.

The letter will be published this Friday in the Haaretz newspaper, the only paper that the Prime Minister is likely to see for sure.

ארץ ישראל, צה"ל, כבוד לאומי, חיזוק הריבונות וההתיישבות, הר הבית, עבודה עם גויים אוהבי ארץ ישראל, בכל תחום עבדת עם כל הנשמה, עם כל הלב, עם כח עצום- נשמה גדולה .   

הנתינה שלך

 היתה בלתי מוגבלת.  טוב שיש את מריל שאיזנה את האש הבוערת שבקירבך, אחרת היית שורף את כולנו בלהט שלך- להספיק עוד ועוד ועוד. 

הלכת שלם מהעולם, אכן הספקת המון בחייך. הלויה הגדולה היתה סימן שנגעת בהמון אנשים בחייך. הגוונים היו רבים כגווני עם ישראל . 

כולם התקבצו לאמר לך תודה. תודה שהיית בינינו והפצת המון טוב, המון אהבה, המון איכפתיות המון דאגה לעתיד ישראל.

Sam Solomon, our comrade on the path of sovereignty has passed away.

 Shocked, in pain and disbelief, with love and appreciation, we are forced to say goodbye and say: "Sam, you fulfilled an amazing mission in this world." 

Your curiosity, your perpetual search, and your experience in a wide range of areas combined to make you a person full of knowledge and experience. 

Your contribution to the Sovereignty Movement is immeasurable. You moved us to a higher level of thinking and organization. Your attendance at meetings was dominant, your pace – in both your ideas and actions – was hard to keep up with. 

We bothered you with endless phone calls and meetings. Together with Eran you always sought to give us your all. 

You attended numerous hours-long meetings at Oz VeGaon, with the burning desire to maintain the Land of Israel in our hands. 

The Land of Israel, the IDF, national honor, strengthening Jewish sovereignty and settlement, the Temple Mount, working with Gentiles who love the land of Israel– you were devoted to each of those areas with all your heart and soul, and tremendous strength. 

You had a giant soul.  

Your giving was unlimited. It was good that Meryl was always there to balance the burning fire within you – otherwise, you would have burned us all with your passion and drive to accomplish more and more. 

You left this world complete, indeed, you accomplished so much in your life. 

 The large funeral indicated how many people you touched in your life.  The wide range of those in attendance was a cross section of the people of Israel. 

They all gathered to say thank you. 

Thank you that you were among us, spreading so much good, so much love, and so much caring and concern for the future of Israel. 

Thank you Sam for everything.

לא לבחירות נוספות!

אין כל עילה לצאת שוב למערכת בחירות שתניב את אותן תוצאות. זה מכבר הביע העם את רצונו בממשלת ימין. חובת המנהיגות ליישם זאת.

עם התפרקות הממשלה עולים שוב הקולות להליכה לבחירות, אבל למה? האם אכן מדובר בהכרח? או שמא גם כאן אנחנו קורבן להנדסת תודעה שמאחוריה אינטרסים זרים וצרים?

מאז ראשית דרכה של הממשלה הנוכחית ועד ימים אלה שבים חבריה ורוקמיה וטוענים שכל הצפרדעים שנבלעו על מנת להביא להקמתה לא נועדו אלא למנוע הליכה חוזרת לבחירות. 

ערכים רבים, כמו גם הבטחות והצהרות רבות, נדחו אל מול הערך האחד והיחיד: רק לא בחירות. אז מה קרה כעת? לאן נעלמו כל אותן הצהרות? הרי בנקל ניתן להקים כעת ממשלה חדשה מבלי לצאת אל הקלפיות, מבלי להזדקק לשלושה חודשי קמפיינים משתלחים ומפלגים, מבלי להוציא שלושה מיליארד שקלים מקופת המדינה עבור יום השבתון המיותר של יום הבחירות כאשר מחיר הלחם עולה.

אין צורך להיות גאון פוליטי כדי להבין שתוצאות הבחירות יעלו או יורידו מנדט או שניים לגוש כזה או אחר. תוצאה שונה מהותית לא תתקבל גם בבחירות הבאות, שני המחנות יתייצבו מול פסיפס מנדטים דומה לזה הקיים מבלי יכולת להקים ממשלה יציבה ויתכן שנזדקק להליכה חוזרת אל הקלפי, וגם בכך לא נבטיח את סוף הסאגה המיותרת והיקרה הזו.

ומעבר לכל זאת, הרי עמדתו הברורה של העם נאמרה כבר במערכת הבחירות הראשונה. העם רוצה חזרה לערכי הציונות, המסורת, היהדות, העלייה, הריבונות וההתיישבות. רוב מוצק הוכיח זאת בהצבעה חוזרת ונשנית למפלגות הימין.

לא למפלגות שמאל קיצוני נתן העם את קולו. לא לשילוב נציגי ושלוחי התנועה האיסלאמית הצביעו אזרחי ישראל ואין כל סיבה לעוות את רצונו הדמוקרטי של העם ולהביא עליו הנהגה הפוכה מזו לה הוא מייחל כפי שאין כל סיבה להביא עליו עוד מערכת בחירות.

לכל חברינו במחנה הימין,  היכנסו למשא ומתן , שימו 2 ראשי ממשלה חליפיים כל אחד לשנה, החלטות יתקבלו ברוב בין שלושת הראשים, שימו בקווי היסוד של הממשלה אג'נדה לאומית יהודית וחסכו לנו בחירות מיותרות. 

לא לבחירות, כן לאחדות מחנה הימין.

NO to additional Elections!

There is nothing to be gained by another round of elections, which will yield the same results as before. The People have long since expressed its desire for a right-wing government. It is the duty of the leadership to implement this desire.

With the government's dispersal, again voices are raised asking for elections, but why? Must it really be? Perhaps here too, we are victims of consciousness-engineering pushed by foreign and narrow interests?

Ever since the present government began its term, its members and those behind it claim that all the compromises we had to make for its establishment would prevent us having to go to elections again.

Many values, many promises and declarations, were rejected in favor of the one and only value: Anything but elections. 

So what now? Where have all those voices gone? Why, we can easily establish a new government without going to the ballot box, without needing three months of divisive campaigns and without spending three billion shekels of the state's money for a needless day off while the price of bread is rising.

You don't need to be a political genius to understand that the results of the elections will only result in the rise or decrease of one or two mandates for one bloc or the other. Results essentially different from previous elections will not happen; the two camps will end up with a mosaic of mandates similar to what exists now, without the ability to form a stable government and it could be that we will need to go to the ballot boxes again, and even that will not guarantee an end to this expensive and unnecessary saga.

And besides all of this, the position of the People was made clear in the first election. The People want a return to the Zionist, traditional and Jewish values of aliyah, sovereignty and settlement. A solid majority has proven this by voting for right-wing parties time and again.

The People did not give its vote to radical left-wing parties – the citizens of Israel did not vote to include representatives of the Islamist Movement and there is no reason to distort the democratic will of the People and bring upon it a leadership that is opposite that which it wishes for, just as there is no reason to bring upon it another election season.

To all of our friends in the Rightwing camp, start negotiating, if need be have 2 alternating prime ministers, each for one year, decisions will be made by a majority among the three heads; have a nationalist, Jewish agenda as your coalition guidelines and save us the needless election.

No to elections – yes to unity among the Rightwing camp.

תנועת הריבונות: זה הזמן להתאחד תחת דגל הריבונות

תנועת הריבונות מחזקת את ידיו של חבר הכנסת בצלאל סמוטריץ' על כוונתו להעלות לוועדת שרים ביום א הקרוב את הצעת חוק הריבונות על יהודה ושומרון.

בתנועה רואים במהלך החלת הריבונות מענה כולל מהותי ואמיתי לשאלת מעמדם של יהודה ושומרון. "החלת החוק הישראלי על יהודה ושומרון צריכה הייתה לבוא כבר לפני עשרות שנים ובכך לא הייתה נזקקת מדינת ישראל לתקנות חירום שמנציחות את הכתם ההיסטורי המונח על מצחה של ישראל כל עוד היא אינה מחילה את ריבונותה על ערש הולדתו ומקור חייו של העם היהודי".

ראשי התנועה, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, מביעות תקווה שחברי הימין בקואליציה יתעשתו ויניחו בצד שיקולים אישיים ופוליטיים ויבינו את הכורח ההיסטורי בהחלת הריבונות הישראלית ביהודה ושומרון. "בכנסת קיים רוב עצום לתומכי הריבונות. בסוגיה זו מבטא הרוב בכנסת היטב את עמדת רוב העם החפץ בריבונות על הארץ כולה, בוחר ימין ותובע מנבחריו גם לקדם את חזון הימין. בכוחם של ראש הממשלה, השרים סער וליברמן יחד עם חברי מפלגותיהם להיכנס לספר ההיסטוריה של העם היהודי כמי שחוללו מהפך אדיר, תודעתי ומעשי, בקשר של עם ישראל לארצו. התאחדו תחת החזון הציוני והצביעו ריבונות".

*The Sovereignty Movement: Now is the Time to Unite under the Banner of Sovereignty*

*The Sovereignty Movement praises Member of Knesset Bezalel Smotrich for his intention to bring the proposed law for sovereignty over Judea and Samaria to the Ministerial Committee on Sunday.*

The movement views the application of sovereignty as the essential and true answer to the question of the status of Judea and Samaria. 

"The application of Israeli law over Judea and Samaria should have been done decades ago and then, the State of Israel would not have needed emergency regulation that perpetuate the historic stain that Israel experiences as long as it does not apply its sovereignty over the cradle of its homeland and the source of its life as the Jewish People".

The co-chairwomen of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, express their hope that right-wing members of the coalition will come to their senses, put aside personal and political considerations and understand the historic necessity for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. 

"There is a huge majority in the Knesset who support sovereignty. In this matter, the majority in the Knesset expresses very well the position of the majority of the People for sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel, elects the Right and demands that its representatives also promote the Right's vision. It is within the power of the Prime Minister, 

Ministers Sa'ar and Lieberman together with members of their factions, to enter the Jewish People's annals of history as those who brought about a tremendous revolution, in consciousness and in practice, connecting the People of Israel to its Land. 

Unite under the Zionist vision and vote for sovereignty".
