We are planting trees on the Courage and Heroism Path

 

Dear Friends,

To mark the Tenth Anniversary since the establishment of the Oz veGaon preserve, founded as a Zionist response to the murder of Gil-Ad, Eyal and Naftali hy"d, we invite you to be partners in planting a row of fruit trees on the Path of Courage and Heroism for the success of our soldiers and for the return of all the hostages, with a prayer and a call for unity of the People of Israel.

 

Our goal is for 100 trees to be planted, G-d willing, in a ceremony to take place on July 3rd – details of the event to be published in the very near future.

 

Cost of each fruit tree – 180 nis (ten times Chai) (=50$).

On the contrary, we are proud of this work and feel privileged to build the country!

 

 Here below is a link to an exciting must see short documentary by Kan 11 about the blessed new trend of Jewish youth proud to be builders, electricians, cement truck drivers, tractor drivers etc. 

 

Sovereignty is also a return to Avoda Ivrit. Jewish labor.

תנועת הריבונות מתייחסת בחומרה לדבריו של שר הביטחון, יואב גלנט, "המסתירים מאחוריהם את המשך תפיסת אוסלו השוגה לחשוב שאויבי ישראל יהיו אלה שיגוננו עליה", כלשון התנועה.

ראשי תנועת הריבונות, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, מדגישות כי דבריו של השר גלנט חמורים גם בהיבט יחסי הכוחות במדינה דמוקרטית. "דברי השר גלנט, המיישר את עמדתו עם עמדת ראשי הצבא ובניגוד לעמדת ראש הממשלה, נשמעים כהפיכה צבאית שאינה מקבלת את עמדת הדרג המדיני המכריע שקיבל את סמכותו ברוב דמוקרטי להוביל לדרך שונה ומפוכחת, דרך של ריבונות ישראלית גאה על ארץ ישראל כולה. ישראל היא מדינה שיש לה צבא ולא להיפך. הנהגת הצבא אינה יכולה להכתיב מתווה מדיני, ובוודאי לא כזה שהוכח כסכנה קיומית לעתידה של ישראל".

The Sovereignty Movement: Gallant's words are an expression of a military coup. Gallant must go home!

The Sovereignty Movement condemn the remarks by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, "which are motivated by the misguided Oslo concept that Israel's enemies will be the ones who will defend her", the movement says.

The co-chairwomen of the Sovereignty Movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, stress that Minister Gallant's words are also outrageous from the point of view of the balance of power in a democratic state. 

"Minister Gallant's remarks, which align with the position of the military chiefs and oppose the prime minister's position, sound like a military coup,  which does not accept the position of the responsible political echelon that has received its authority from a democratic majority to lead in a different and judicious direction,  a path of proud Israeli sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel. 

*Israel is a state that has an army, and not the other way around. The military leadership cannot dictate the political direction, and certainly not one which has been proven to be an existential danger to the future of Israel".*

Israel's leaders, especially the prime minister and minister of defense, can be extremely proud of the fighters and officers, who dedicate themselves with a clear and resolute pursuit of victory together, without disputes and out of love of the Land and concern for the People's peace and its future. 

A minister of defense that doesn't understand all the above must resign!!", say the two women.
