תנועת הריבונות מצטרפת ליום העיון במסגרת יום האירועים לציון יום הכניסה לארץ ישראל במעברות הירדן המאורגן ע"י האלוף במיל. עוזי דיין, בע"ה ביום שלישי א' ניסן 9/4/2024
רקע:
מעברות הירדן, (הידוע גם בשם קאסר-אל יהוד) הוא המקום שבו עברו בני ישראל את הירדן ונכנסו לארץ ישראל בימי יהושע בן נון ביום י' בניסן. המעבר של העם היה כרוך בנס של עצירת הירדן כנאמר:
וּכְבוֹא נֹשְׂאֵי הָאָרוֹן עַד הַיַּרְדֵּן וְרַגְלֵי הַכֹּהֲנִים נֹשְׂאֵי הָאָרוֹן נִטְבְּלוּ בִּקְצֵה הַמָּיִם וְהַיַּרְדֵּן מָלֵא עַל כָּל גְּדוֹתָיו, קָמוּ נֵד אֶחָד הַרְחֵק מְאֹד... תַּמּוּ נִכְרָתוּ וְהָעָם עָבְרוּ נֶגֶד יְרִיחו...
וַיַּעַמְדוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים נֹשְׂאֵי הָאָרוֹן בְּרִית יְהוָה בֶּחָרָבָה בְּתוֹךְ הַיַּרְדֵּן וְכָל יִשְׂרָאֵל עֹבְרִים בֶּחָרָבָה עַד אֲשֶׁר תַּמּוּ כָּל הַגּוֹי לַעֲבֹר אֶת הַיַּרְדֵּן...
וְהָעָם עָלוּ מִן הַיַּרְדֵּן בֶּעָשׂוֹר לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן וַיַּחֲנוּ בַּגִּלְגָּל בִּקְצֵה מִזְרַח יְרִיחוֹ. (יהושע ג-ד).
יום י' בניסן הוא מועד היסטורי ייחודי ועל כן חשב האלוף במיל. עוזי דיין שיום זה ראוי להפכו למסורת, כיום ציון חגיגי וחשוב לעם ישראל ולהתמיד בו. כבר כמה שנים שעוזי דיין מארגן ביום זה סיורים ואירועים. השנה תנועתנו , תנועת הריבונות, המקדמת את החלת הריבונות על בקעת הירדן תחילה, שמחה להצטרף לארוע.

The day the Children of Israel entered the Land as a People
The Sovereignty Movement is joining in the seminar, which is part of the events marking the date of entry to the Land of Israel at the Jordan Crossings organized by Gen. (res.) Uzi Dayan, G-d willing, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024
Background:
Maabarot HaYarden, "the crossing of the Jordan", (also known as Qasr-el Yehud) is the place where the Israelites crossed the Jordan and entered the Land of Israel in the days of Yehoshua ben Nun on the 10th day of Nisan. The passage of the people involved the miracle of stopping the Jordan as it is described in the book of Yehoshua.
The 10th day of Nisan is a unique historical date and that's why General Uzi Dayan (res.) thought that this day deserves to become a tradition, a solemn and important landmark for the people of Israel.
For several years Uzi Dayan has been organizing tours and events on this day. This year our Sovereignty movement, which is promoting the application of Sovereignty over the Jordan valley first, is happy to join the event.
