תנועת הריבונות בעקבות דברי סער: די להססנות. ממשלת ישראל לא תוכל להימנע מהכרעת הריבונות

בעקבות דבריו של שר החוץ, גדעון סער, ולפיהם ישראל לא תחיל ריבונותה על יהודה ושומרון בשל לחץ אמריקאי, מבהירה תנועת הריבונות כי היא ופעיליה ימשיכו להוביל ללא פשרות את הדרישה להחלת הריבונות הישראלית על יהודה ושומרון.
בתנועה מבהירים כי אמנם הנשיא האמריקאי, דונלד טראמפ, הוא ידיד אמת של ישראל, כפי שמוכח מרבות מפעולותיו ורבים מדבריו, אך האחריות להכרעות גורליות הנוגעות לעתידה של מדינת ישראל, נתונה לממשלת ישראל ולה בלבד. הכרעות שכאלה תתקבלנה אך ורק בירושלים ולא בשום מקום אחר.
הציבור בישראל מצפה להנהגה שמכריעה: ריבונות, יציבות ומשילות. לא תהיה משילות בנגב ולא בגליל ללא החלת ריבונות ביהודה ושומרון. ההססנות הישראלית היא שמזינה תהליכי השתלטות בלתי חוקיים ומערערת את הריבונות בפועל ברחבי הארץ. חולשה מזמינה לחץ, ונחישות יוצרת מציאות.
בתנועת הריבונות מוסיפים ומדגישים כי "ממשלת ישראל לא תוכל להימנע מן ההכרעה. החלת ריבונות ומימושה על כל חלקי ארצנו אינן עוד אופציה, אלא הכרח לאומי".
"לא אחת בהיסטוריה נדרשה הנהגת ישראל שבירושלים לקבל החלטות אמיצות, גם כאשר הן לא תאמו את עמדות הממשל האמריקאי. כך היה בהכרזת המדינה וכך בפעולות אסטרטגיות קריטיות כבהפצצת הכור בעירק והחלת ריבונותינו ברמת הגולן. כך נבנתה עוצמתה של ישראל, וכך גם נשמרה הברית עם ארצות הברית הזקוקה לבת ברית חזקה, יציבה ונחושה, למדינה העומדת על זכויותיה ועל צרכיה הלאומיים".
"עם הנצח אינו חושש מלחצים זמניים ומצפה מראש הממשלה ומשר החוץ לעמוד איתן ולהוביל לריבונות".

The Sovereignty Movement following Sa’ar’s remarks: Enough hesitation. The Government of Israel cannot avoid a decision on sovereignty
In response to the remarks of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, according to which Israel will not apply sovereignty over Judea and Samaria due to American pressure, the Sovereignty Movement clarifies that it and its activists will continue to lead—without compromise—the demand for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.
The Movement emphasizes that while U.S. President Donald Trump is a true friend of Israel, as demonstrated by many of his actions and statements, the responsibility for fateful decisions regarding the future of the State of Israel lies solely with the Government of Israel. Such decisions will be made in Jerusalem—and nowhere else.
The Israeli public expects decisive leadership: sovereignty, stability, and governance. There will be no effective governance in the Negev or the Galilee without applying sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. Israeli hesitation fuels processes of illegal takeover and undermines sovereignty in practice throughout the country. Weakness invites pressure; determination creates reality.
The Sovereignty Movement further stresses: “The Government of Israel will not be able to avoid making this decision. The application and implementation of sovereignty over all parts of our land is no longer an option—it is a national necessity.”
“Time and again in history, Israel’s leadership in Jerusalem has been required to make courageous decisions, even when they did not align with the position of the American administration. This was the case with the declaration of independence, as well as with critical strategic actions such as the strike on the Iraqi nuclear reactor and the application of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. This is how Israel’s strength was built—and how its alliance with the United States has been preserved. The United States ultimately needs a strong, stable, and resolute ally—a country that stands firm on its rights and national interests.”
“The eternal nation does not fear temporary pressures and expects the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister to stand firm and lead toward sovereignty.”
