על רקע כניסת מועצת השלום לרצועת עזה והדיונים על המתווה המדיני ליום שאחרי המלחמה, שלחו בתנועת הריבונות מכתב לראש הממשלה ולחברי הקבינט המדיני-ביטחוני.
במכתב דורשים בתנועת הריבונות לעצור באופן מיידי את קידום 'מפת הדרכים' בת 15 הנקודות, שלדבריה מהווה את היישום המעשי של מסמך 20 הנקודות. כמו כן במהלך המכתב קוראים בתנועה לממשלה לשנות את כיוון המדיניות וכן ולקדם החלת ריבונות יהודית והתיישבות יהודית ביהודה, שומרון וחבל עזה, כדי להבטיח מציאות ביטחונית יציבה ולמנוע את הישנות אסון 7 באוקטובר.
בפתח המכתב נכתב: "אנו, בתנועת הריבונות, קוראים לכם לעצור באופן מיידי את קידום 'מפת הדרכים' בת 15 הנקודות, המהווה את היישום המעשי של מסמך 20 הנקודות. מפת הדרכים אינה עולה בקנה אחד עם מטרות המלחמה שקבעה ממשלת ישראל: השבת החטופים, הכרעת חמאס, פירוק יכולותיו השלטוניות והצבאיות, והבטחת מציאות שבה רצועת עזה לא תשוב להוות איום על אזרחי ישראל. חוץ מהשבת החטופים (ב"ה), כל שאר מטרות המלחמה לא הושגו. במקום להוביל להכרעת חמאס, המתווה מציע להעביר את השליטה ברצועת עזה לגוף זר. הניסיון מלמד כי מנגנונים בינלאומיים אינם מפרקים ארגוני טרור מנשקם ואינם מונעים את התעצמותם. כך אירע בלבנון, ואין כל יסוד להניח שבעזה תהיה התוצאה שונה".
בתנועה מזהירים גם מפני ההשלכות הביטחוניות של המהלך וכותבים: "המתווה יחזיר את מדינת ישראל למציאות הביטחונית שקדמה ל־7 באוקטובר - מציאות שבה יישובי העוטף חיים תחת איום מתמיד, בעוד ארגוני הטרור משתקמים ומתכוננים למתקפה הבאה. לאחר המחיר הכבד ביותר ששילמה מדינת ישראל מאז הקמתה, אין לנו הזכות לחזור לאותה תפיסה שנכשלה. מסמך 20 הנקודות מוביל בסופו ל'דרך אמינה' למימוש השאיפה הפלשתינית למדינה. משמעות הדבר היא שמפת הדרכים אינה רק מתווה לניהול עזה, אלא שלב במסלול מדיני שעלול להוביל להקמת מדינה פלשתינית - יעד שיסכן את ביטחונה, את עתידה ואת עצם יכולתה של ישראל להגן על אזרחיה".
בסיום המכתב פונים בתנועת הריבונות לחברי הקבינט בקריאה מעשית: "אנו קוראים לכם לגלות אחריות לאומית ולפעול בנחישות: לממש במלואן את מטרות המלחמה; לעצור את מפת הדרכים ואת המשך קידום מסמך 20 הנקודות; לדחות כל מהלך המוביל להקמת מדינה פלשתינית; ולקדם החלת ריבונות יהודית והתיישבות יהודית ביהודה, שומרון וחבל עזה, כדי להבטיח מציאות ביטחונית יציבה ולמנוע את הישנות אסון 7 באוקטובר. ההכרעה בידיכם: הכרעת הטרור והבטחת ביטחונה של מדינת ישראל - או חזרה למסלול שהוביל לאסון. ההיסטוריה תשפוט את ההחלטה שתקבלו".

Sovereignty Movement to Cabinet Ahead of Today's Meeting: "Stop the Roadmap and the 20-Point Document!"

In a letter sent to the Prime Minister and members of the Security Cabinet following the entry of the Peace Council into the Gaza Strip, the Sovereignty Movement calls for an immediate halt to the advancement of the "Roadmap" plan. "This framework returns Israel to the security reality that existed before October 7."
Against the backdrop of the Peace Council's entry into the Gaza Strip and the ongoing discussions regarding the political framework for the "day after" the war, the Sovereignty Movement has sent a letter to the Prime Minister and members of the Security Cabinet.
In the letter, the movement calls for the immediate suspension of the 15-point "Roadmap," which it says constitutes the practical implementation of the 20-Point Document. The movement also urges the government to change its strategic direction by advancing Israeli sovereignty and Jewish settlement over Judea, Samaria, and the Gaza Strip in order to ensure a stable security reality and prevent another October 7 tragedy.
The letter opens by stating:
«"We, the Sovereignty Movement, call upon you to immediately halt the advancement of the 15-point 'Roadmap,' which constitutes the practical implementation of the 20-Point Document. The Roadmap is inconsistent with the war objectives established by the Government of Israel: securing the return of the hostages, defeating Hamas, dismantling its governmental and military capabilities, and ensuring that the Gaza Strip will never again pose a threat to the citizens of Israel. Aside from the return of the hostages (thank G-d), none of the other war objectives have been achieved. Instead of leading to Hamas's defeat, the framework proposes transferring control of the Gaza Strip to a foreign body. Experience has shown that international mechanisms neither disarm terrorist organizations nor prevent their rearmament. This was the case in Lebanon, and there is no reason to believe that Gaza will be any different."
The movement also warns of the security implications of the proposal:
"The framework would return the State of Israel to the security reality that existed before October 7 - a reality in which the communities surrounding Gaza lived under constant threat while terrorist organizations rebuilt and prepared for their next attack. After paying the heaviest price in Israel's history since its establishment, we have no right to return to the same failed concept. The 20-Point Document ultimately leads to a 'credible pathway' toward fulfilling the Palestinian aspiration for statehood. This means that the Roadmap is not merely a framework for governing Gaza, but rather a stage in a political process that could lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state—an outcome that would endanger Israel's security, its future, and its very ability to defend its citizens."
The letter concludes with a direct appeal to the members of the Security Cabinet:
"We call upon you to demonstrate national responsibility and act decisively: fully implement the objectives of the war; halt the Roadmap and any further advancement of the 20-Point Document; reject any initiative that leads to the establishment of a Palestinian state; and advance Israeli sovereignty and Jewish settlement over Judea, Samaria, and the Gaza Strip in order to ensure a stable security reality and prevent another October 7 tragedy. The choice is yours: defeat terrorism and secure the future of the State of Israel—or return to the path that led to disaster. History will judge the decision you make."
