Women in Green detained after Arab attack in Netzer: יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר מעוכבות במשטרה

יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר מעוכבות במשטרת גוש עציון לאחר תקרית אלימה שהתפתחה בשטח בנצר. בלילה, יום שלישי, אור ליג' סיון, נטעו נשים בירוק וגרעין נצר עצי זית בגירים על אדמות סקר שהערבים השתלטו עליהם. כאמור, הבוקר הגיעו הערבים לשטח עם מסור ותקפו את היהודים שהיו במקום. משטרת ישראל, המנהל האזרחי וצה"ל הגיעו למקום המריבה וכאמור נדיה ויהודית מעוכבות במשטרה. נדווח על המשך התפתחות כשנוכל. נשים בירוק מבטיחות להמשיך במאבק לשמירה על אדמות א"י בנצר ובגבעות יהודה.

Women in Green leaders, Yehudit Katzover and Nadia Matar, were detained this morning at the Gush Etzion police station after a violent confrontation in Netzer. During the night, Women in Green activists planted mature olive trees on state land that the Arabs, over the past month, have been trying to grab from the Jews.

 

This morning Arabs came to the area with a saw and attacked the Jews and the trees. Thank G-d, no one was injured and the trees were not harmed. Israel police, the Civil Administration and the IDF arrived at the scene, and subsequently, Yehudit and Nadia were detained. We will give further details when available.

 

Women in Green promises to continue the struggle for the Land Of Israel in Netzer and all over Judea.

To  those who plan on coming to the funeral of Manny Winston z"l (husband of Gail, father of Danny Winston from Bat Ayin)

the funeral will be tomorrow Tuesday afternoon in Jerusalem around 5:30pm

 

here are the flight details of Gail and Rabbi Danny-

Gail is flying ,with the coffin, USAIR 796 from Philadelphia and is supposed to land at 3:15 pm

Danny is flying Iberia 3754 from Madrid and is supposed to land at 3:45 pm

 

From the airport they will drive straight to the Sanhedria funeral home in Jerusalem

 

People are advised to call Ben Gurion airport to find out if there are no delays with the flights: 03-9723333

Below please find the email the family sent out with the details of the funeral that will take place tomorrow Tuesday June 14th in Jerusalem.

 

Manny and his dear wife Gail, may G-d give her a long healthy life, long-time committed fighters for Erets Israel,

are dear friends of Women in Green. Manny has written hundreds of articles under the title "Winston Mideast Analysis and Comment"  representing the proud Jewish voice of the majority of the Jewish People who are loyal to their land and heritage.

We will sorely miss his insights and commentaries.

Dear Friends, 

        Manny Winston was niftar this morning at 8:30 am CDT after an 11 year battle against cancer.   We will miss his presence in this world but, perhaps HaShem wanted him back.

North Shore Chabad of Highland Park will hold a brief memorial after morning davening at 7:30 PM, 847 Central Avenue, Highland Park June 13, 2011.  You are welcome to come before we take off for Israel.   

The levaya (funeral) for Manny will begin Tuesday, June 14 at the Sanhedria Funeral Home, hopefully around 5 PM after the 3 planes bringing family arrive.  From there the levaya will be at Har Zeitim, Mount of Olives – through the gate to the left of the Intercontinental Hotel.   Please come if you can.

May we all be blessed with simchas and also be comforted among the mourners of Jerusalem.

הבוקר, יום שישי ערב שבת פרשת בהעלותך, הגיעה לנצר משלחת של  ארגון AFSI (אמרקנים למען ישראל בטוחה) וביניהם יו"ר AFSI, ידידתנו היקרה הלן פרידמן.

 

המשלחת סיירו בגבעות נצר וראו את עשרות הדונמים שכבר נגאלו ע"י תנועת "נשים בירוק" וגרעין נצר.  הם ראו את מאות עצי הזית, הרימון, התאנה, והתות שניטעו. המשלחת קבלה דיווח על המאבק השקט היומיומי המתחולל בנצר. הם ראו כיצד הערבים מנסים להשתלט על אדמות המדינה וכיצד הנטיעות מונעות זאת מהם.

כמוכן בקרה המשלחת בשטח המיועד לגאולה בתקופת תשעת הימים הקיץ כאשר יתקיים, בע"ה, מחנה חקלאי לנוער נוסף.

 

המשלחת נטעה עץ זית  והבטיחה לשוב  בסתיו ולטעת כמות גדולה יותר של עצים.

AFSI in Netzer

 

This morning, Friday June 10^th, a delegation of Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI) , headed by our dear friend Helen Freedman, arrived in Netzer.

 

The delegation toured in the hills of Netzer and saw the tens of dunams of land that have already been redeemed by Women in Green and the Netzer group. They saw the hundreds of trees that have been planted; olive trees, vines, pomegranate and mulberry trees.

 

The delegation received an update and a summary of the day-to-day quiet struggle that takes place in Netzer. They saw how the Arabs try to take over state lands and how the plantings by the Jews prevent the Arabs from doing so. In addition, the delegation toured the area designated for redemption this summer during the Nine days, when , please G-d, we will hold yet an additional agricultural youth camp.

 

The members of AFSI planted an olive tree and promised to return this coming fall and plant many more trees.

 

Women in Green thank our dear friends at AFSI for their continued activism, involvement and commitment to Israel and their partnership in the redemption and safeguarding of the Land of Israel.

נטיעות לכבוד שחרור חבלי ארץ ישראל

 

מדי שנה חוגגים אנו את יום שחרור ירושלים אך ,באותם ימים ממש, שוחררו חבלי ארץ נוספים. יהודה, שומרון, עזה והגולן. חברון, שילה,שכם, בית אל, גוש עציון והבקעה.

 

חזרנו לנופיה ההיסטוריים של ארץ ישראל, לארץ התנ"ך, לארץ הנכספת, להר הטוב שלנו, לשדרה המרכזית השומרת על כל האברים. חזרנו כדי להישאר לנצח נצחים.

 

ב"ה ב44 השנים שאנו מיישבים, בונים, נוטעים ומתרחבים – העמקנו שורשים.

 

ביום רביעי הקרוב, כ"ח אייר, נעמיק עוד ועוד שורשים ע"י נטיעות בנצר אשר בלב גוש עציון. בע"ה בשעה 17:00 נתחיל לטעת, הורים וילדים.

 

נפגשים בנתיב האבות, ע"י החלקה שנטענו לפני כמה חודשים לזכר אימס הי"ד,

ונדרוש ריבונות בארץ ישראל!

Plantings in honor of the liberation of Erets Israel

 

Every year we celebrate Jerusalem Day, but we must not forget that in these days other areas of our homeland were also liberated. Judea, Samaria, Gaza and the Golan Heights. Hebron, Shilo, Shchem, Beit El, Gush Etzion and the Jordan valley.

 

Yes, in 1967 we returned to Israel's historic landscapes, to the Land of the Bible, to the Land we were yearning for for thousands of years, to our mountain range that protects the rest of the country like a spinal chord that  protects and connects all body parts. In 1967 we have returned to our homeland; to stay, forever.

 

In the 44 years that we have settled in our Biblical Homeland, built, planted and expanded- we have dug deep roots.

 

This coming Wednesday ,June 1^st, we will dig even deeper roots by planting in Netzer in Gush Etzion and demand Jewish sovereignty over all of Erets Israel.

 

We will start planting please G-d at 5:00pm, adults and youth alike. Meet next to the field that we planted a few months ago in memory of the Imas parents HY"D .
