'ריבונות – הדור הבא של הציונות!

 

חברים ושותפים יקרים

לכבוד ולעונג לנו לשוב ולעדכן אתכם על המשכה בעוז ובאמונה של הפעילות הציבורית להחלת ריבונות ישראל על יהודה ושומרון, כאשר גולת הכותרת היא כניסתם המשמעותית של בני הנוער לגל הפעילויות, מתוך הבנת חשיבות המשימה הציונית של הדור הנוכחי – משימת הריבונות!

 

בעוד ימים אחדים, ביום חמישי י' בסיוון, תתקיים ועידת נוער הריבונות השנייה. זאת לאחר הצלחתה המרשימה של הועידה הראשונה שהתקיימה כזכור בירושלים וקיבצה אליה למעלה מ-1,200 בני נוער מכל רחבי הארץ.

בני נוער אלה הפכו לשגריריו הנאמנים של חזון הריבונות בישוביהם, במוסדות החינוך בהם הם לומדים, במשפחותיהם וברחוב הישראלי. שגרירים אלה הובילו ומובילים את תנופת תודעת הריבונות שהגיעה כזכור עד ללשכת ראש הממשלה, בנימין נתניהו, ולהצהרותיו שלו בדבר כוונתו להחיל ריבונות ביהודה ושומרון. ללא הנוער, ללא פעילי תנועת הריבונות וללא הרוח הגבית שיחד איתכם אנחנו מעניקים למקדמי הריבונות בכנסת, כל זה לא היה קורה.

 

תחת הכותרת 'ריבונות – הדור הבא של הציונות' יתקיים בע"ה כנס הנוער ה-2 באוניברסיטת בר אילן ובו יופיעו סגנית שר החוץ, חברת הכנסת ציפי חוטובלי, יו"ר 'האיחוד הלאומי חבר הכנסת בצלאל סמוטריץ', יו"ר שדולת ארץ ישראל בכנסת ח"כ יואב קיש, מנהלת שדולת א"י חברת הכנסת לשעבר אורית סטרוק, פעיל זכויות האדם באסם עיד, חברת הכנסת עידית סילמאן ונציגי נוער הריבונות מרחבי הארץ. האירוע כולו ייפתח בדברי ברכה של הרב שמואל אליהו, רב העיר צפת ורב תנועת נוער הריבונות. בהנחייתו של הפובליציסט שמעון ריקלין יתקיים פאנל מיוחד אודות דרכי יישום חזון הריבונות וחשיבותו.

לקראת הכנס רבה מאוד ההתעניינות בקרב בני הנוער. נראה כי החוליה הבאה במרוץ השליחים הציוני ערוכה ומוכנה לשאת על כתפיה את משא הדורות לקראת הגשמת כיסופיו של עם ישראל לאורך אלפיים שנה – השלמת החלת ריבונות ישראל על ארצו כפי ההבטחה התנ"כית, שהעניקה לעם כוחות אמונה ותקווה גם בתקופות משבר. הגיעה שעת הביצוע וכל אחד מאיתנו נוטל את חלקו במשימה.

 

כפי שבוודאי שמעתם תנועת הריבונות זכתה להימנות בין מקבלי פרס מוסקוביץ' לציונות יחד עם פרופ' משה קופל וד"ר עליזה בלוך. אנו מודות לוועדת הפרס על החלטתם לכלול אותנו בין מקבלי הפרס, אולם ברור לנו היטב כי הפרס שייך לכולכם, תומכים ומחזקים יקרים, תורמי הרעיונות והמימון, המשתתפים בפעילויות ובהפצת החזון.

מאחר וכך תוכלו לשער שסכום הפרס כולו יועד באופן מיידי למימון חלק מוועידת הנוער ה-2 שעלותה גבוהה ביותר. בימים אלה אנו מגייסים כוחות ומשאבים כלכליים נוספים להשלמת מימון הוועידה. המעוניינים להשתתף יוכלו ליצור עימנו קשר ישיר.

 

יחד איתכם נמשיך את תנופת חזון הריבונות. המערכת הפוליטית אמנם נכנסת שוב לסחרור בחירות, אך לצד הבנת הסכנה שבמערכת שכזו נמשיך לראות את המהלך ההיסטורי הכולל, זה המתקדם צעד אחר צעד במשעול העולה להגשמת החזון היהודי-ציוני.

נפעל בימים שנותרו עד הבחירות ללא לאות ונייחל לתוצאות מבשרות טוב אף יותר גם לאחריהן, תוצאות שירחיבו עוד יותר את הצוהר ההיסטורי שנפתח לקידום וליישום ריבונות ישראל על ערש הולדתו – יהודה ושומרון!

Sovereignty – the next generation of Zionism!

 

Dear friends and partners,

We are pleased and honored to update you on our continued activity, with faith and energy, for the application of Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, with the highlight on the significant participation of the youth in a series of activities, with the understanding of the importance of the Zionist mission of the present generation – the mission of sovereignty!

In just a few more days, on Thursday, the 10^th of Sivan, June 13^th, the second Sovereignty Youth Conference will , please G-d, be held. This follows the impressive success of the first conference, which was held in Jerusalem and attracted more than 1,200 youths from all parts of the Land.

These youths have become faithful ambassadors of the vision of sovereignty within their places of residence, in their various educational institutions, among their families and in the Israeli street. These sovereignty ambassadors have led and currently lead the momentum in the awareness of the importance of sovereignty and we have seen this momentum reach the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with his declarations of his intention to apply sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. Without the youth, without the movement's activists, and without the tailwind which, together with you, we provide to those members of Knesset who are promoters of sovereignty, none of this would have happened.

Entitled "Sovereignty – the Next Generation of Zionism", the Second Youth Conference will be held, b'H, at the Wohl conference center in Bar Ilan University, with the participation of  Deputy Foreign Minister MK Tzipi Hotovely, Chairman of the National Union MK Bezalel Smotrich, Chairman of the Land of Israel Lobby in Knesset MK Yoav Kish, Director of the Land of Israel Lobby in Knesset former MK Orit Struk, human rights activist Bassam Eid, MK Idit Silman and representatives of the Sovereignty Youth Movement from all parts of the Land. The event will open with words of welcome by Rav Shmuel Eliyahu, the rabbi of Safed and rabbi of the Sovereignty Youth Movement. There will be a panel on various ways of implementing the vision of sovereignty and its importance, moderated by publicist Shimon Riklin.

The upcoming conference has aroused great interest among the youth. It seems that the next link in the long relay race of Zionist emissaries is willing to carry upon its shoulders the task of the generations to realize the longing of the People of Israel for two thousand years – the completion of the application of Israeli sovereignty over its Land according to the Biblical promise, which provided the People with their strength, faith and hope even in times of crisis and calamity. The time has come for implementation and each one of us takes part in the mission.

As you have surely heard, the Sovereignty Movement is among the recipients of the Moskowitz Prize for Zionism together with Prof. Moshe Kopel and Dr. Aliza Bloch. We thank the awarding committee for their decision to include us among the prize's recipients, but it is extremely clear to us that the prize belongs to all of you, dear partners and friends, who contribute your ideas and your  support, who participate in the activities and in spreading the vision.

As such, you may be sure that the entire amount of the prize was immediately designated for the partial funding of the Second Youth Conference, whose expenses will be high indeed. Currently, we are raising additional funds and economic resources to complete the funding for the conference. Those who are interested in participating can contact us directly.

Together with you, we will continue the momentum of the vision of sovereignty. Although the political system is again headed for another round of elections, along with understanding the danger of such elections, we will continue to focus on the overall historic process, which is progressing, step by step, on the path ascending to the realization of the Jewish-Zionist vision.

We will be acting tirelessly in the remaining days, and we will hope for even better results afterwards, results that will further open the historic window of opportunity to the advancement and implementation of Israeli sovereignty in the cradle of our homeland – Judea and Samaria!

Friday at Oz veGaon

In honor of the Day of Liberation of Jerusalem and the Land of Israel, this coming  Friday the 19^th of Iyar, May 24^th, at 9:00 am, at the Cherna Moskowitz Zionist Library in Oz veGaon,

we will please G-d host historian and fighter Dr. Haim Shalem, who fought at Ammunition Hill.

Dr Haim Shalem will speak on the battle, on the friends and on devotion to Jerusalem. The lecture will be accompanied by a film.

Dr. Shalem is an author, who has written books researching the Holocaust.

קצובר ומטר: הפרס - לאלפי התומכים והשותפים

 

יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר מודות על ההחלטה להעניק להן את פרס מוסקוביץ' ומזכירות למי שייך הפרס באמת ומה משמעותו.

 

ראשי תנועת הריבונות, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, קיבלו בהפתעה את החלטת ועדת פרס מוסקוביץ' להעניק להן את הפרס לשנת תשע"ט על פועלן הציבורי לקידום חזון הריבונות על יהודה ושומרון.

"הופתענו לחלוטין למצוא את שמנו ברשימת מקבלי הפרס", אומרות קצובר ומטר המודות על ההחלטה אך גם מדגישות כי בעיניהן הפרס אינו ניתן להן לבדן, אלא למאות ואלפי מתנדבי ותומכי תנועת הריבונות ברחבי הארץ ובעולם. "פעילותנו לקידום החזון לא יכולה הייתה להתממש ללא הרוח הגבית המעשית והרעיונית שמעניקים לנו בתרומתם, בהתנדבותם ובפעילותם כל אותם שותפים יקרים הראויים לפרס לא פחות מאיתנו".

קצובר ומטר מעירות: "בעינינו חשיבותו של פרס מוסקוביץ' גדולה לאין ערוך מפרסים אחרים, אף מפרס נובל. פרס המגיע מצ'רנה מוסקוביץ', אישיות הפועלת כה רבות למען עם ישראל וארץ ישראל, פרס המהווה המשך למסורת הפרסים בה החלו היא ובעלה המנוח ד"ר ארווין ז"ל, מהווה ציון דרך בתקומתו של עם ישראל בארצו ודירבון להמשך צעדי המסע הציוני הנמשך מזה למעלה ממאה שנה. לכבוד רב לנו להימנות על שורה ארוכה של אישים גדולי מעש ורוח שקידמו ומקדמים את החזון הציוני בפעילותם הציבורית ובאורח חייהם הפרטי".  

השתיים מעירות כבר כעת כי, כמצופה, סכום הכסף שיוענק לתנועת הריבונות ייועד למהלכים הקרובים אותם מתכננת התנועה. "בראש האירועים המתוכננים לחודשים הקרובים ניתן לספר כבר כעת על כנס נוער נוסף שיתקיים בע"ה לאור הצלחת פעילויות הנוער הקודמות שהובילה תנועת הריבונות לחיזוק תודעת הריבונות ולעיצוב מנהיגות דור העתיד של מדינת ישראל ברוח חזון הריבונות והשלמת שיבת עם ישראל לארצו". ועידת הנוער ,שתתקיים בימים שיתפרסם תוכנית המאה של הנשיא טראמפ, אמורה להעמיק בנוער את תודעת הריבונות ושלילת תוכנית שתי המדינות. "הנוער חייב להפנים שארץ ישראל היא יחידה גיאוגרפית, היסטורית, אקולוגית אחת בלבד. הריבונות על ארץ ישראל היא עליית קומה על בסיס עבודתה הציונית-לאומית של פורצי הדרך האגדתיים להתיישבות בחברון, ביהודה, בשומרון, בגולן, בעזה. הריבונות חייבת לבוא עם משילות על כל המגזרים".

כאן המקום להזכיר כי בדברי ההסבר שציינו חברי ועדת הפרס להחלטתם להענקת הפרס לקצובר ומטר נכתב:

יהודית קצובר היא אשת התיישבות, אשת חינוך ופעילה ציבורית למען ארץ ישראל. קצובר הייתה בקבוצת הנשים שבשנת 79' חדרו לבית הדסה שבלב חברון, ובכך סללו את הדרך להקמת הישוב היהודי בעיר. בהמשך הובילה והשתתפה במאבקים להיאחזות יהודית באזור חברון וגוש עציון.

נדיה מטר היא אשת התיישבות ופעילה למען ארץ ישראל. משנת 1993, שנת הקמתה של תנועת ההתיישבות וההסברה 'נשים בירוק' על ידי חמותה, רות מטר ז"ל, מכהנת נדיה מטר כיו"ר התנועה. במסגרת הפעילות הציבורית השתתפה והובילה מאבקים ציבוריים ומחאות נגד הסכמי אוסלו ונגד רעיון החזרה לקו הירוק והקמת מדינה הפלשתינית בלב ארץ ישראל.

בקיץ 2005, ימי המאבק בתכנית העקירה מגוש קטיף וצפון השומרון חברה קצובר לתנועת 'נשים בירוק' ולעומדת בראשה, נדיה מטר, והפכה ליו"ר שותף של התנועה יחד עם מטר.

במסגרת זו הובילו השתיים פעילות חוץ פרלמנטרית לעידוד ההתיישבות ביהודה ושומרון, למניעת השתלטות ערבית לא חוקית על אדמות בשטחי C, קמפיינים ציבוריים והסברתיים נגד מדיניות הנסיגות, ארגון פעילויות חינוכיות ציוניות לקבוצות בני נוער, המשיכו את מסורת צעדת ליל תשעה באב סביב החומות ועוד.

יחד עם מטר הקימה קצובר בשנת 2011 את תנועת הריבונות הפועלת מול שרים, חברי כנסת ואישי ציבור להובלת חזון החלת ריבונות ישראל על יהודה ושומרון. התנועה בהנהגתן המשותפת מחוללת שינוי תודעתי בשיח המדיני-פוליטי בישראל עם קיומם של כנסים ברחבי הארץ בהם משתתפים מנהיגים ואנשי רוח הדנים בחזון ובדרכי יישומו. התנועה גם מפיקה את כתב העת 'ריבונות' ואת אתר האינטרנט 'ריבונות' הכוללים כתבות, מאמרים ועדכונים סביב החזון.

לצד מיזמי הסברה ותודעה ממשיכה תנועת הריבונות בחיזוק האחיזה המעשית בשטח, כך בשמורת 'עוז וגאו"ן' שהוקמה על ידי פעיליה לזכר שלושת הנערים שנחטפו ונרצחו והפכה לאתר חינוכי-תיירותי בו מבקרים אלפים וכך בשורת מפעלי התיישבות באזור גוש עציון.

בהובלת קצובר ומטר הוקמה גם תנועת נוער הריבונות המקיימת פעילות הסברה צעירה ברחבי הארץ ובמדיות החדשות. כמו כן מקדמת התנועה את עיצובה של הנהגת הדור הבא ברוח חזון ריבונות ישראל על כל מרחבי ארצו.

יצוין כי לצד קצובר ומטר יקבלו את הפרס גם פרופ' משה קופל מייסד ויו"ר פורום "קהלת" וד"ר עליזה בלוך ראש העיר בית שמש. טקס הענקת הפרס יתקיים בר"ח סיוון ה4 ליוני 2019 בבנייני האומה בירושלים.

Katsover and Matar: The Prize – for the thousands of supporters and partners

Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar are grateful for the decision to award them the Moskowitz prize and mention to whom the prize really belongs, and its meaning.

The co-chairwomen of the Sovereignty Movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, were surprised by the decision of the Moskowitz Prize committee to award them the prize for the year 2019 for their public work in promoting the vision of sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

"We were totally surprised to find our name on the list of the prize recipients", say Katsover and Matar, who are grateful for the decision  but also emphasize that in their opinion, the prize does not belong to them alone, but to the hundreds and thousands of volunteers and supporters of the Sovereignty Movement throughout the Land and abroad. "Our work in promoting the vision could not have been realized without the practical and ideological tailwind that they provide to us by the contribution, volunteerism and work of those esteemed partners who are no less deserving of the prize than we are".

Katsover and Matar comment: "To us, the importance of the Moskowitz Prize is immeasurably greater than other prizes, even the Nobel Prize. This prize from Cherna Moskowitz, who is such an active character for the People of Israel and the Land of Israel, this prize, which is a continuation in the same tradition of prizes that she and her late husband, Dr. Irving, obm, began, is a milestone in the revival of the People of Israel in its Land and an impetus to continue the steps in the Zionist journey of more than a hundred years. It is a great honor for us to be named among the long list of personages of action and spirit who promoted and advanced the Zionist vision with their public works and in their private lives".

The two women say already now, that as expected, the amount of money to be awarded to the Sovereignty Movement will be earmarked for the movement's planned activities in the near future. "We can already tell you now of one important event that is planned for the coming months, which will be another sovereignty youth conference to be held, b"H, in light of the success of previous work with the youth that led the Sovereignty Movement to raise consciousness on the issue of sovereignty and shape the leadership of the next generation of the State of Israel in the spirit of the vision of sovereignty and the completion of the People of Israel's return to its Land". The youth conference, which will take place during the time when Trump's Plan of the Century will be published, is meant to deepen the youths' awareness of the need for sovereignty and the opposition to the two-states plan. "The youth must internalize the fact that the Land of Israel is only one geographical, historical, ecological unit. Sovereignty over all of the Land of Israel is the next level built on the Zionist-nationalistic base laid by the legendary pioneers of settlement in Hevron, Judea, Samaria, the Golan and Gaza. Sovereignty must include governance over all sectors".

Here, we note the explanation given by the members of the prize committee for their decision to award the prize to Katsover and Matar:

Yehudit Katsover is a woman of the settlement enterprise, a woman of education and public activism on behalf of the Land of Israel. Katsover was in the group of 13 women who,  in 1979, entered Beit Hadassah in the heart of Hevron, and in doing so, paved the way for the establishment of the Jewish community in the city. Later, she led and participated in the struggles for a Jewish holding in the areas of Hevron and Gush Etzion.

Nadia Matar has been a woman of the settlement enterprise and an activist for the Land of Israel. Since 1993, when the Women in Green movement was established by her mother-in-law, Ruth Matar, obm, Nadia Matar served as chairwoman of the movement. As part of her public work, she participated and led in the public struggles and protests against the Oslo Accords and against the idea of returning to the Green Line and establishing a Palestinian state in the heart of the Land of Israel.

In the summer of 2005, during the struggle against the plan to uproot Jewish communities from Gush Katif and northern Samaria, Katsover joined Women in Green and its head, Nadia Matar, and became the co-chairwoman of the movement together with Matar.

Against this background, the two women led non-governmental activities to encourage the settlement enterprise in Judea and Samaria, to prevent illegal Arab takeover of the lands of Area C, public hasbara campaigns against the policy of withdrawal, organization of educational and Zionist activities for youth groups, they reinstated the traditional march around the walls of Jerusalem on the eve of Tisha B'Av and more.

In 2011, Katsover, together with Matar, established the Sovereignty Movement to work with members of Knesset and public figures to lead the vision of the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. The movement, under their joint leadership, has brought about a change in awareness regarding the discourse on policy in Israel by holding conferences throughout the Land, with the participation of leaders and intellectuals discuss the vision and ways to implement it. The movement also produces the Sovereignty Journal and the Sovereignty web site, which include articles, essays and updates relating to the vision.

Along with hasbara and consciousness-raising initiatives, the Sovereignty Movement continues to strengthen the state's practical holdings on the ground, such as the Oz veGaon preserve, which was established by the movement's activists in memory of the three youths who were abducted and murdered and has since become an educational-tourism site visited by thousands of people and they have led a number of other projects related to the settlement enterprise in the area of Gush Etzion as well.

Under the leadership of Katsover and Matar, the Sovereignty Youth movement has also been established, which carries out youth hasbara activities throughout the Land and in new media. The movement also promotes the shaping of leadership for the next generation in the spirit of the vision of the People of Israel's sovereignty over all parts of its Land.

We note that along with Katsover and Matar, Prof. Moshe Koppel, founder and chairman of the Kohelet Forum and Dr. Aliza Bloch, mayor of Beit Shemesh, will also receive the prize. The ceremony will take place on June 4^th 2019, at Binyanei hauma in Jerusalem at 7:00pm.

בתנועת הריבונות מתייחסים בדאגה לפרטיה של 'עסקת המאה' כפי שהוצגו הערב (ראשון) בחדשות 12. "החלת החוק הישראלי האזרחי על הישובים ביהודה ושומרון אינה אלא ניסיון מאולץ ומסוכן לפשרה שתאפשר הקמתה של ישות פלשתינית על שאר השטח", אומרים בתנועה.

 

ראשי התנועה, יהודית קצבור ונדיה מטר, מזכירות כי באחרונה הזהירה התנועה בדיוק מהשלכותיו של תרחיש שכזה. "על ארץ ישראל לא עושים עסקאות או פשרות. ארץ ישראל כולה שלנו ועלינו להחיל עליה את ריבונותה המלאה של מדינת ישראל", אומרות השתיים.

 

לדבריהן "מעבר לזכות ההיסטורית שאינה ניתנת לפשרה, הקמת ישות מדינית פלשתינית על מרחבי יהודה ושומרון תהווה סכנה חמורה פי כמה מזו האורבת לנו מרצועת עזה. התכנית תהווה הוכחה נוספת עבור האויב הערבי לכך שלחץ טרוריסטי לצד לחץ בינלאומי מכריעים את ישראל הנסוגה שוב ושוב מאדמתה ומפנה עוד ועוד שטח לטובת כנופיות טרור שנשבעו להקים מדינה על חורבותיה של ישראל".

 

"יכולות ההסברה הערביות מוכחות, אך אין בהן כדי להפוך את הצד הערבי לצד הצודק. ארץ ישראל כולה שייכת לעם ישראל ולו לבדו", דברי קצובר ומטר המדגישות כי "את תכנית טראמפ ניתן יהיה לקבל אך ורק אם היא תוגדר כבר כעת כשלב ראשון בדרך להחלת ריבונות ישראלית מלאה על כלל שטחי יהודה ושומרון".

The Sovereignty Movement on Trump's proposal: as a 1st phase of sovereignty– yes; as a basis for a Palestinian entity – no

The Sovereignty Movement is concerned about the details of the Deal of the Century, as they were presented this evening (Sunday) in the Channel 12 News. "The application of Israeli civil law over the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria is simply a bumbling and dangerous attempt at compromise that will allow for the establishment of a Palestinian entity in the rest of the territory", spokespeople for the movement say.

The co-chairwomen of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, remind us that the movement has recently issued a warning precisely on the ramifications of such a scenario. "We do not make deals or compromises on the Land of Israel. The Land of Israel is entirely ours and we must apply the State of Israel's full sovereignty over it", say the two women.

According to them, "beyond the historic right, which is not subject to compromise, the establishment of a Palestinian entity in parts of Judea and Samaria would present a danger several times more severe than that posed by the Gaza Strip. The plan would serve as further proof to the Arab enemy that terror threats along with international pressure can force Israel again and again to withdraw from her land and transfer more and more territory to terror groups that have vowed to establish a state upon the ruins of Israel".

"The capability of Arab public relations is proven, but this cannot turn the Arab side into the just side. The Land of Israel belongs entirely to the Jewish People and only to the Jewish People, say Katsover and Matar, who emphasize that "the Trump plan will be acceptable if, and only if, it is defined already now, as the first step on the way to the application of full Israeli sovereignty over the entire territory of Judea and Samaria".

פרשני השמאל, דובריו ושאר תומכי הנסיגות וההתקפלויות רואים את הקולות, את קולות נפץ הרקטות, שומעים את המראות, את מראות ההלוויות והתושבים החרדים וחוזרים אל עמדותיהם הקדומות כאילו דבר אינו קורה סביבנו. 'זו לא ההתנתקות' הם אומרים, מכריזים 'גם לפני ההתנתקות היו טילים' ומציגים נתונים ומספרים. הגיעה העת להשיב לטענות הללו, לשים קץ למידע המגמתי שמרעיפים עלינו.

הבה נרענן את זיכרוננו:

אכן, לא בעקירה מגוש קטיף החלה מתקפת הטילים והרקטות על העורף הישראלי. ירי שכזה היה עוד קודם לכן, אבל בחינת העובדות מתחילה עוד הרבה קודם לכן על מנת להגיע לתובנות אמת ולמסקנות לעתיד:

כל עוד שלט צה"ל בכל רצועת עזה לא היו טילים. אמנם בשנת 1987 הייתה האינתיפאדה הראשונה, אבל הנשק שאותו הפנו הערבים לעברינו היו אבנים ולעתים גם בקבוקי תבערה. לא מעבר לזה. צה"ל פיקח על הכבישים ונכח בתוך הערים. השליטה המודיעינית של כוחות הביטחון הייתה מלאה ופיגועים רבים נמנעו עוד בשלב התכנון. גם ניסיונות הברחת נשק סוכלו. הסיבה הייתה פשוטה: צה"ל נכח שם.

ואז במקום לחסל את האינתיפאדה אחת ולתמיד הגו קברניטי הנסיגות והוויתורים עם רעיון התיגמול לתוקפן וחתמו על הסכמי אוסלו. במאי 1994 נחתם הסכם עזה-יריחו ובעטיו יצא צה"ל מרוב השטח ברצועת עזה, מהערים ומהכפרים לבד מגוש קטיף, נצרים, כפר דרום, אלי סיני ודוגית והשטח הופקר לשליטת הרשות הפלשתינית.

זה התחיל עם פצצות מרגמה מיושנות, פצמ"רים, זוכרים? הפצמ"ר הראשון שוגר לעבר נצרים בינואר 2001, סיממנו את עצמנו עם המשפט "טוב. זה סתם פצמ"ר", אבל מאז הם רק הלכו והשתכללו ואנחנו כבלנו את ידינו עם השאלה "מה, נכבוש את עזה?" והפכנו את עצמנו לחסרי אונים. מעט מהטעויות ההן תוקנו ביהודה ושומרון במבצע 'חומת מגן', כאשר נוכחותו של צה"ל שבה לכל הערים והכפרים. בעזה, לעומת זאת, לא היה מבצע שכזה. כך התקבעה מציאות שבה ביו"ש אין רקטות ובעזה יש ויש.

מכאן ואילך ניתן לערבים חופש פעולה ושקט לתכנן את ההסלמה, את עליית המדרגה, את שיפור הרקטות והטילים, את ההתחמשות וההתארגנות הצבאית. איש לא הפריע להם. הרקטות הראשונות היו פרימיטיביות, פגיעתם הייתה הרסנית הרבה פחות וכך גם דיוק הפגיעה שלהן, אבל המחבלים השתכללו צעד אחר צעד והרקטות החלו להגיע ליישובי גוש קטיף ובהמשך לעבר שדרות והלאה.

גם האיתותים הכואבים ההם לא העירו את ההנהגה בישראל ולא הביאו אותה לשוב מדרכה המדינית. ההמשך היה תכנית ההתנתקות והעקירה מיישובי גוש קטיף וצפון השומרון מתוך תקוות הזויות וחסרות בסיס שהאויב יהפוך את הרצועה לסינגפור של המזרח התיכון. נסיגת צה"ל מהרצועה הרחיבה את חופש הפעולה שניתן לערביי עזה. חמאס השתלט בכוחנותו ובאלימותו על רצועת עזה, סילק את מנהיגות הרש"פ והאיץ את פיתוח הרקטות והטילים עד למציאות הנוכחית בה טווח פגיעתן מגיע עד תל אביב ובנותיה.

בצל כל אלה התעצמו יכולותיו של חמאס גם מתחת לאדמה ופתח בחפיר מנהרות טרור לאורך קילומטרים רבים במגמה להוציא לפועל פיגועי חטיפה והשתלטות אסטרטגיים. בהיעדר הנוכחות הישראלית ברצועה יכול היה חמאס להכין ולשכלל את הפתעת הטרור התת קרקעית שלו.

זו המציאות וזו ההיסטוריה. כל הנתלים בטפטוף הרקטות הפרימיטיביות שטרם ההתנתקות כהוכחה שלא היא זו שהביאה עלינו את סבבי האסון שאנו בעיצומם, עושים שקר בנפשם ומתעתעים בכולנו. לו לא הייתה ממשלת ישראל חותמת על הסכמי אוסלו ומפקירים את רצועת עזה למחבלים ולו לא היינו מוסיפים על החתימה האסונית ההיא את ההתנתקות המוחלטת מהרצועה, שכזכור גם היא חלק מארץ ישראל, לו היינו מחילים כבר אז את ריבונותנו המלאה על הרצועה לא היינו מגיעים למציאות הקשה של ימינו אלה.

כעת, ערב פרסום תכנית טראמפ עלינו לזכור את העובדות לאשורן ולהפנים כי רק שליטה ישראלית על השטח כולו היא שמביאה לשקט ביטחוני. הפקרת השטח לממשל עצמי ערבי תביא רקטות נוספות, הרסניות הרבה יותר, מדויקות הרבה יותר, והפעם מהרי השומרון אל גוש דן, ירושלים ועוד.

The Rockets from Gaza began in Oslo

Leftist commentators, its spokesmen and other supporters of withdrawal and concessions hear the sounds of rockets exploding; they see the sights, the spectacle of funerals and frightened residents but they  resume their biased positions as if nothing is happening around us.  "It's not because of the Disengagement", they say, declaring that "even before the Disengagement there were missiles" presenting data and numbers. The time has come to answer these claims, to put an end to the tendentious information that they serve up to us.

Let us refresh our memories:

Indeed, the attacks of missiles and rockets on the Israeli home front did not begin with the uprooting of Gush Katif. There were such attacks before then, but an examination of the facts from a much earlier time will allow us to come to a true understanding and draw conclusions for the future:

As long as the IDF controlled the entire Gaza Strip there were no missiles. Indeed, in 1987 there was the first Intifada, but the weapons that the Arabs used on us then were stones and sometimes even Molotov cocktails. Nothing more than that. The IDF monitored the roads and had a presence in the cities. The security forces had comprehensive intelligence and many terror attacks were prevented while even in their planning phase. Attempts to smuggle weapons were thwarted. The reason for this is simple: the IDF was there.

And then, instead of putting down the intifada once and for all, some leaders dreamed up withdrawals and concessions with the idea of rewarding the attacker and signed the Oslo Accords. The Gaza-Jericho accord was signed in May 1994, and the IDF left most parts of the Gaza Strip; they withdrew from the cities and the villages except for Gush Katif, Netzarim, Kfar Darom, Eli Sinai and Dugit, and the area was abandoned to the control of the Palestinian Authority.

It began with aging mortars , remember? "Patzmarim" in Hebrew.  When the first mortar was launched at Netzarim in January 2001, we deluded ourselves with the sentence "Well – it's just a mortar" but since then, they have only become more sophisticated and we have tied our own hands with the question, "What – are we going to reconquer Gaza?" And we made ourselves powerless. Some of these problems were corrected in Judea and Samaria during Operation Protective Wall, when the IDF presence returned to all of the cities and the villages. In Gaza, on the other hand, there was no such operation. This is the reason that there are no rockets from Judea and Samaria, but from Gaza there are so many.

From then on, the Arabs had the freedom of action and the calm to plan escalation, raising the level, improving their rockets and missiles, arming themselves and organizing their military. No one disturbed them. The first rockets were primitive; they were much less destructive and less accurate, but step by step the terrorists improved and the rockets began to reach the communities of Gush Katif and later to Sderot and even further.

Even these painful signals did not arouse the Israeli leadership and did not cause it to change its policy. Then came the Disengagement plan and the uprooting of the communities of Gush Katif and northern Samaria with the delusional and baseless hope that the enemy would turn the Strip into a Singapore of the Middle East. The withdrawal of the IDF from the Strip gave the Arabs of Gaza even more freedom of action. Hamas brutally and violently took over the leadership of the Gaza Strip from the PA and expedited the development of rockets and missiles to the present situation in which they can reach Tel Aviv and its suburbs.

Along with all of this, Hamas' capabilities have grown underground and it began digging terror tunnels many kilometers in length with the aim of carrying out abductions and strategic conquests. In the absence of an Israeli presence in the Strip Hamas  caught us off guard and prepared its underground terror.

This is the reality and this is history. Anyone who takes the primitive drizzle of rockets before the Disengagement as proof that it was not the Disengagement that caused the present rounds of disaster we are experiencing, are lying in their souls and deceiving all of us. If the government of Israel had not signed the Oslo Accords and abandoned the Gaza Strip to the terrorists, and if we had not added to this disastrous agreement, a total disengagement from the Gaza Strip, which, as we know, is also part of the Land of Israel - if we had then already applied our full sovereignty over Gaza, we would not have come to the difficult situation in which we are now.

Now, shortly before Trump's plan is publicized, we must remember the facts and acknowledge them and internalize the fact that peace and security will only be brought about by Israeli control of the entire territory. Abandoning any territory to Arab rule will bring about more and much more destructive rockets, this time from the hills of Samaria to Gush Dan, Jerusalem and more.
