Stop Arab terror on the roads-

Apply  Israeli Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria

 

Tens of residenst from Efrat, Gush Etzion, Kiryat Arba, Bet Shemesh and Jerusalem answered the call by Women in Green and came last night to protest against the increasing Arab terror on the roads of Judea and Samaria.

 

After the murder of Asher Palmer and his son Yonatan HY"D, we expected the security forces to deal with the terror but unfortunately, two nights ago, the Arabs tried once again to murder Jews by drive-by rock throwing- smashing the front windshield of Rabbi Yaron Durani from Nokdim. Only by miracle did Rabbi Durani come out of this alive.

 

Tens of cars with activists patrolled the Efrat-Nokdim road. Arab traffic was blocked. Huge traffic jams were created.

 

At the T-junction a small vigil was held in which Rabbi Durani spoke and told the crowd exactly how the Arabs had attacked him. Rabbi Durani demanded from the IDF to act with force: "a hand that throws stones must be chopped off" said the Rabbi.

 

Additional speakers demanded from the IDF to act forcefully against the Arab terrorist stone throwers , to reinstall the army checkpoints and to apply Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria will bring quiet to the area, it will remedy the historic injustice and everybody will internalize the fact that the Land of Israel belongs to the Peple of Israel.

 

The vigil ended with Rabbi Durani saying Tehillim and the hope that that we will not need to continue and patrol the roads.

 

Israeli sovereignty campaign

 

          Parallel to the patrol campaign, hundreds of posters were put up by Women in Green  in the past days throughout Judea and Samaria and in the Jerusalem area with the message:

"The coming year - Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria."

 

          This is the continuation of the campaign by Women in Green calling for the application of sovereignty that began this summer with a very well-attended conference held at the Machpela Visitors' Center in Hebron, with the participation of MK's, scholars, and public figures.

 

          The Oslo accords, thank G-d, have collapsed. The government of Israel can, and must, take the historic, Zionist step of applying sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

 

          The Women in Green movement believes that such an action will calm the situation, lead to deterrence, and curb the Arabs' hopes that have been fostered by the left, Europe, and America.

 

          Today, it is clear to all - the Arabs want to destroy the entire State of Israel. As former Prime Minister Yitzchak Shamir said: "The sea is the same sea, the Arabs are the same Arabs." The application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria seeks to restore the historical justice that the Land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel.

 

          The Women in Green movement wishes all its friends a Shana Tova. May it be  that in the coming year Israeli sovereignty will be applied over Judea and Samaria.

להפסיק את הטרור בכבישים!

 להחיל ריבונות ישראל ביהודה ושומרון!

 

עשרות תושבי אפרת, גוש עציון, קרית ארבע, באר שבע וירושלים נענו לקריאת תנועת נשים בירוק ויצאו הערב למחות על הטרור המתעצם בכבישי יהודה ושומרון.

 

אחר הרצח של אשר פלמר הי"ד ובנו יהונתן התינוק הי"ד, קיווינו שצה"ל יתמודד עם הטרור אך לצערינו, אמש, ניסו שוב לפגוע ביהודי- והפעם ברב ירון דוראני, רב הישוב נוקדים. באותה שיטה- של השלכת אבן מרכב חולף. שמשת מכוניתו נופצה, הרב התמלא רסיסים ובנס יצא חי מאירוע זה.

 

עשרות מכוניות סיירו לאורך הציר אפרת-תקוע-נוקדים-צומת הT. התחבורה  הערבית נחסמה. נוצרו פקקים עצומים.

 

בצומת T נערכה עצרת קצרה בה תיאר הרב דוראני את השתלשלות הפיגוע וביקש מצה"ל לפעול בעוצמה.

"יד אשר תזרוק אבן-שתגדע" אמר הרב.

 

דוברים נוספים בקשו שצה"ל יפעל במלוא החומרה נגד מבצעי הפיגועים, להציב יותר מחסומים, ולהחיל ריבונות ישראל ביהודה ושומרון.  החלת הריבונות תביאו לרגיעה.  יתוקן העוול ההיסטורי וכולם יכירו בעובדה שארץ ישראל שייכת לעם ישראל.

 

העצרת הסתיימה באמירת פרק תהילים ובתקווה שלא יהיה צורך להמשיך בפטרולים על הכבישים.

במקביל  לאירוע זה הודבקו מאות כרוזים הודבקו בימים האחרונים ברחבי יהודה ושומרון ובירושלים רבתי עם המסר:

בשנה הבאה- ריבונות ישראל ביהודה ושומרון

 

זהו המשך הקמפיין להחלת הריבונות של תנועת נשים בירוק שהחל הקיץ בכנס רב משתתפים במרכז המבקרים "שדה המכפלה" בחברון בהשתתפות ח"כים, חוקרים ואישי ציבור.

 

הסכמי אוסלו ב"ה קרסו. ממשלת ישראל יכולה וצריכה,  להוביל מהלך היסטורי ציוני של החלת הריבונות ביהודה ושומרון.

 

תנועת נשים בירוק מאמינה שמהלך כזה יביא לרגיעה, להרתעה, יבלום את תקוות הערבים שטופחו ע"י השמאל, אירופה ואמריקה.

 

כיום ברור לכולם – הערבים רוצים למגר את מדינת ישראל כולה. כפי שאמר ראש הממשלה לשעבר יצחק שמיר: "הים אותו הים, הערבים  אותם ערבים". החלת ריבונות ישראל ביהודה ושומרון היא חתירה להשבת הצדק ההיסטורי שארץ ישראל שייכת לעם ישראל.

שלטים חדשים הוצבו בכל יהודה בעברית ובערבית הקוראים לנהגים היהודים והערבים לנהוג בזהירות כי "בכביש כולנו שווים".

 

אך מתברר שלא כך הם פני הדברים.  אשר ויהונתן פלמר הי"ד נרצחו בידי ערבים שיידו אבנים  מרכב חולף. זו כנראה שיטת הטרור הערבי החדשה נגד יהודים באזורנו. לאחר שכוחות הביטחון שיקרו וניסו לטייח את עצם העובדה שמדובר בפיגוע- נחשף עוד נתון: שבימים האחרונים התקבלו במשטרת יהודה 18 תלונות של יהודים שגם הם הותקפו ע"י ערבים בצורה דומה.

 

אם חשבנו שהירצחם של אשר ויהונתן הי"ד יגבירו את פעולות ההרתעה של כוחות הביטחון, מתברר שלא כך הוא ואתמול בלילה ניצל הרב דוראני, רב הישוב נוקדים מיידוי אבנים. כמוכן הותקפו עוד 2 יהודים בצורה דומה.

 

הערבים רוצים להכניע אותנו ע"י טרור. השמאל חורך ידיים בהנאה ואומר: " אמרנו לכם- אם לא נוותר יחזור הטרור". התקשורת פועלת בשירות האויב ומזמינה את הטרור, את הצעדות על הישובים, את הלוויות. לנו המתיישבים התסריט הזה כבר מוכר. עמידתנו האיתנה מנעה הפקרת ארץ ישראל ומדינת ישראל. המתיישבים ביהודה ושומרון הם החומה המגינה על ישראל.

 

אנו נמשיך לעמוד כחומה בצורה להגן על ארצנו ולא נסכים לחזור לתקופת האבן. יש לשים לדבר סוף לפני הלוויה הבאה חלילה.

Today Tuesday we will patrol the Efrat-Nokdim road (details below)

 

New signs have been put up all over Judea in Hebrew and Arabic urging all drivers to drive safely "because on the road , we are all equal".

 

But that does not seem the case. Asher and Jonathan Palmer HY"D were brutally murdered by Arab who threw stones in a drive-by car stoning. This seems to be the new tactic for Arab terror against Jews in our area. 

 

After the security forces lied and tried to pretend that the Palmers had been killed in a car crash and not in a terror attack, they were forced to admit it was terror. That is when we also found out that in the previous days no less than 18 complaints to the police had been made by Jews in Judea who had been attacked in a similar way.

 

If we thought that the murder of Asher and Jonathan would push the security forces to increase the deterrence against Arabs, sadly that is not the situation. It is with shock and horror that we woke up this morning reading the news about  Rabbi Yaron Durani from Nokdim who was attacked last night by Arabs in a similar way; his front windshield was smashed . Thank G-d he wasn't hurt too badly. In addition, two more Jews were attacked too.

 

The Arabs want us to capitulate to terror. The Left is already wringing its hands in pleasure saying: "we told you that if we don't capitulate there will be terror". The media is collaborating with the Arab enemy, inviting terror, marches against yishuvim and funerals. We the residents of Judea and Samaria know the script all too well.

 

Our determined stand has prevented the Land of Israel to be abandoned. The residents of Judea and Samaria are the defensive shield protecting all of Israel.

 

We will continue to stand firm defending our homeland. We will not agree to return to the stone-age. We must put a stop to the Arab stone throwing before another funeral G-d forbid.

בס"ד                                              ערב שבת פרשת ניצבים תשע"ע

שתילה, עקירה ושוב שתילה, היום בנצר, בלב גוש עציון

 

בימים שחדשה רודפת חדשה – שכל כולן עוסקות בענין אחד – "למי שייכת ארץ ישראל?", החלטנו על הגברת הנוכחות בנצר ושמירה על עשרות הדונמים שניטעו שם במשך השנתיים האחרונות ע"י תנועת "נשים בירוק" ותושבי האזור.

 

הבוקר יצאנו פעילים להעמיק את האחיזה בארץ ישראל ע"י נטיעות בנצר. נטענו עצי זית,שמענו שיעור מפי סטיב רודן על פרשת ניצבים וחזרנו שמחים לביתנו. תחושת רוממות שרתה על כולנו.

 

אך לא לזמן רב. מתושב האזור קיבלנו ידיעה שרכב חשד נראה ליד השטח בו נטענו. מיד הגענו לשטח והתברר שהערבים עקרו את הנטיעות הטריות וכן חלק משטח סמוך.

 

מיד התארגנו מחדש – העצים והמגנים הוחזרו לבורות ובנוסף הגדלנו את שטח הנטיעות. הערבים שעקרו כמובן נעלמו מן השטח וכן שתיליהם.

 

כיום ברור שלא מספיק לטעת ולבנות. יש להחיל את ריבונות ישראל על מרחבי ארץ ישראל- להכריע בחוק, אחת ולתמיד, שארץ ישראל שייכת לעם ישראל. אז השטח יירגע. המצב יהיה ברור. התקוות שמטפחים הערבים בעזרת אחים מבפנים ואויבים מבחוץ יגוועו.

 

ארץ ישראל היא המפתח לקיומו של העם היהודי. ערב ראש השנה- בעת חשבון נפש נוקב, הפרטי והכללי,עלינו לשאול את עצמינו האם עשינו מספיק למען ארץ ישראל. אין כמו ימים אלו המסוגלים לתשובה.

Planting – uprooting – replanting in Netzer today

At a time when each news item talks about the question "to whom does the Land of Israel belong?", we decided to increase the Jewish presence in Netzer and watch the tens of dunams planted there in the past two years by Women in Green together with residents of  Judea.

 

We went to Netzer this Friday morning to strengthen our hold onto the Land by planting olive trees. Afterwards we heard a shiur by Steve Rodan and then returned home happy and uplifted.

 

That did not last long though….a resident of the area called us that he saw a suspicious car close to our field. We immediately arrived and saw that Arabs had uprooted all of our morning plantings plus trees from a nearby field of ours too.

 

We got organized- called some friends and replanted all of the trees plus additional ones. The Arabs who uprooted our trees had of course disappeared, as did their plantings.

 

It is clear that it is not enough to plant and build, we must also apply Israeli sovereignty over all of the Land of Israel in order to, once and for all, make clear that the Land of Israel belongs to the People of Israel.

 

When Israeli sovereignty will be applied over Judea and Samaria, things will calm down. The situation will be clear. The hopes that the Arabs have built up with the help of internal brothers and external enemies, these hopes will finally vanish and disappear.

 

The Land of Israel is the key to the existence of the Jewish People. On the eve of Rosh Hashana we must all ask ourselves, on an individual and national level, if we have done enough for the sake of the Land of Israel. There are no better days for teshuva (repentence ) than the days preceding Rosh Hashana.

ניו יורק: נעצרו מפגינים נגד נאום אחמדיניג'אד

 

שישה מפגינים נגד נאומו הצפוי של אחמדיניג'אד בעצרת האו"ם ובעד ישראל נעצרו ע"י משטרת ניו יורק לאחר שסרבו להתפנות ולשחרר התנועה.

ששה פעילים יהודים בולטים נעצרו בארה"ב ליד בניין האו"ם. השישה נעצרו בבוקר יום שלישי בניו-יורק (לפנות ערב לפי שעון ישראל).

הששה הם הרב אבי וייס, שהוגדר ע"י שבועות ניוזוויק כרב מס' 12 בחשיבותו ברחבי ארה"ב, הלן פרידמן מנהיגת ארגון אפס"י, וכן הפעילים שריל יעקבס-לוין משיקגו, מרים פרינס, שרה רוזנבאום, וגלן ריכטר מקברניטי המאבק לשחרור יהודי ברית המועצות.

השישה התרעמו על מתן במה לאו"ם לאחמניג'אד וזעמו על הדה-לגיטימציה שיו"ר הרש"פ מחמוד עבאס עורך לישראל. השישה יחד עם מפגינים נוספים קראו להפסקה מיידית של כל מימון לרשות הפלשתינית אם תתקבל תביעתם להקמת מדינה פלשתינית חד-צדדית, בעצרת הכללית של האו"ם. כמו כן הביעו את חששם שאלפי פלשתינים יצעדו אל עבר קהילות ישראליות ביהודה ושומרון.

לדברי פרידמן השישה התבקשו לעזוב את השדרה הראשונה כדי לא לחסום את התנועה שם וסירבו. בעקבות זאת השישה נכבלו באזיקים ונעצרו ע"י משטרת ניו-יורק.

לדברי העצורים, אשר שוחררו ע"י שופט, האו"ם עוסק בעיקר בדה-לגיטימציה של ישראל. השישה יעמדו לדין בדצמבר. פרידמן קבלה על כך שמפגינים למען ישראל נעצרים, בעוד עריצים מקבלים כבוד באומות המאוחדות.

NY Police Arrest Rabbi and Five Other Pro-Israel Activists

 

New York police arrest a rabbi and five other activists who blocked traffic in a protest against the PA bid for unilateral UN recognition.

New York police arrest a rabbi and five other activists who blocked traffic in a protest against the Palestinian Authority bid for unilateral United Nations recognition at the United Nations annual General Assembly.

They were arrested during a rally co-sponsored by Americans For a Safe Israel (AFSI) and Amcha that drew more than 35 people, many of whom also stood in street with them. Police took into custody Rabbi Avi Weiss, director of Amcha-Coalition for Jewish Concerns, In addition to Rabbi Weiss, who is also senior rabbi at the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, and Helen Freedman of AFSI, Cheryl Jacobs Lewin, chairwoman of AFSI's Chicago chapter, Miriam Prince; Sarah Rosenbaum; and Glenn Richter.

Holding aloft large Israeli and American flags and signs declaring "Shame On the UN For Demonizing and Delegitimizing Israel!" and "We Support Israel", the rally participants chanted "Am Yisrael Chai" (the Jewish people live), as police began to handcuff and lead the six demonstrators to a nearby paddy wagon. They were brought to the 17th precinct in Midtown Manhattan were they were booked on charges of disorderly conduct.

Pointing to the UN building looming in the background, Rabbi Weiss told the demonstrators, who gathered in the heavy rain, "Today we are sitting in the street to tell this den of evil that they will be responsible for the violence that will, G-d forbid, take place in Israel as a result of this move to legitimize a state that clearly does not want peace. If the New York City police really "got it", they wouldn't be arresting us who represent the Jewish voice of consciousness and those who speak truth to power, but they'd be arresting Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is guilty of murdering countless numbers of his own people and who threatens genocide against the Jewish state."

Glenn Richter, a former leader of the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry organization and a leading spokesman for Jewish causes, declared, "There can be no business as usual at the United Nations while it continues to demonize and delegitimize Israel, endorse a unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood, and welcome the evil Mahmoud Ahmadinejad."

Also attending the rally was Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, executive director of New York Board of Rabbis, who said, "Given the choice between being part of an immoral majority or moral minority, I'd rather be part of the minority than the majority which meets in the UN and makes Israel too often the guilty party. There's a Yiddish saying which translates, 'fear G-d, not people'. We're here because of what people may sometimes do to us, and that's why we have to be so vocal."

Saying that she was mortified by the abject silence of the Jewish establishment organizations in lieu of the impending UN vote to create a Palestinian state predicated on a terrorist doctrine, Freedman said before being arrested, "Incomprehensibly, the major Jewish organizations have chosen to stay away from the battle. Is it spinelessness or mindlessness?"

Turning her attention to the existential threat that a Palestinian state would present for Israel, she added that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas unilateral efforts to have a PA state declared at the UN are "reprehensible and incredibly dangerous for Israel."

"Iran's Ahmadinejad should not be permitted into this country, not in New York City and certainly not in our streets, restaurants, and universities, while he is threatening the western world with nuclear war," she added. "The Durban III denunciations of Israel should not be tolerated. The entire purpose of the United Nations has been turned upside down."

"מצבו של יהונתן משקף את מצב עם ישראל וארץ ישראל"

 

מעל 500 נשים יצאו שלשום, יום שלישי י"ד אלול, לחברון "לפגוש את המלך בשדה" באמצע חודש אלול ולגייס את האבות והאמהות לתפילה מעומק הלב לשחרורו של יהונתן פולארד ולחיזוקה של ארץ ישראל. (לצפייה בסרטון נא הקלק על הלינק למטה)

 

האוטובוסים מרחבי הארץ הגיעו אחד אחר השני ומתוכם יצאו נשים ונערות אשר טיפסו במדרגות מערת המכפלה ובמדרגות התפילה.

 

התפילה שנשאה אסתר פולארד בתוך מערת המכפלה פרצה את שערי שמים ומחיצות הלב ודמעות נראו בעניים רבות.

 

אסתר פולארד דיברה בהתרגשות רבה על מצבו של יונתן כמשקף את מצב עם ישראל וארץ ישראל. כמוכן סיפרה אסתר על מצבו הבריאותי של יונתן הזקוק לרפואה ולגאולה.

 

את המשך הערב עשו הנשים במרכז המבקרים שדה המכפלה למרגלות המערה. ראשית הקרינו יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר סרטון אודות המאבק היומיומי לגאולת  קרקעות המנוהל בגבעות יהודה ע"י תנועת נשים בירוק. לאחר מכן נהנו הנשים משירתם של אודליה ברלין וקרן גולן המקסימות. קרני אלדד הצטרפה בצורה ספונטאנית להופעה.

 

 הערב הסתיים בריקודים ושירה מלאי תקווה ותפילה לשחרורו של יהונתן פולארד ושאר אסירי ציון וכן בתקווה לקראת השנה החדשה שבה יישב עם ישראל במלוא רוחב ארצו בבטחה ובשלווה.

 

האירוע כולו אורגן ע"י תנועת נשים למען עתיד ישראל (נשים בירוק) בשיתוף עם מרכז המבקרים שדה המכפלה והאגף לתרבות תורנית, מחוז ירושלים.

Esther Pollard at the Women's Prayer at the Cave of Machpelah:

Jonathan's Condition Reflects the State of the People of Israel and the Land of Israel"

 

          More than five hundred women went to Hebron two days ago, Tuesday September 13,  "to meet the King in the field" in the middle of the month of Elul,  to summon the Patriarchs and the Matriarchs for prayer from the depths of the heart, for the release of Jonathan Pollard and to strengthen Eretz Israel. (below you will find a link to the must see video clip about it)

 

          One after the other, the buses arrived from throughout Israel. The women and girls left the buses to climb the steps of the Cave of Machpelah and the steps of prayer.

 

          The prayer that Esther Pollard uttered in the Cave of Machpela reached the gates of Heaven and the chambers of the heart, and tears could be seen in many an eye.

 

          Esther spoke very emotionally about Jonathan's condition as reflecting the condition of the people of Israel and the land of Israel. Of course, Esther spoke about Jonathan's medical state, and his need for health and redemption.

 

          The women spent the remainder of the evening in the Machpela  Visitors' Center at the foot of the Cave. First, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar screened a film on the daily struggle for the redemption of lands that is being waged by the Women in Green movement on the hills of Judea. Afterwards, the women enjoyed the singing by Odelia Berlin and Keren Golan. Karni Eldad spontaneously joined the performance.

 

          The evening concluded with dancing and singing full of hope and prayer for the release of Jonathan Pollard and the other Prisoners of Zion, and with the hope that in the new year the people of Israel will dwell in the full width and breadth of its land, safely and securely.

 

          The entire event was organized by the Women for Israel's Tomorrow-Women in Green movement, in cooperation with the Machpela  Visitors' Center and the Jerusalem District of the Torah Culture Division.

Electrifying event at Mearat HaMachpela! Prayer session with Esther Pollard wildly successful! An overflowing crowd of 600 women crowded the full main room at Mearat HaMachpela (swamping both the men's and women's section and outer perimeter) to hear Esther Pollard speak. Pollard gave an update about her husband's condition and then about the power of public prayer, the mystical meaning of a public "amain" and the on-going role of the Avot in facilitating prayers for Am Yisrael. She then led the crowd in special prayers. There was a compelling, fiery unity to the prayers and when they were over, all of the women broke into spontaneous unified song, which was followed by tehillim, and a lively, soul-stirring musical interlude with Odelia at theMachpela Visitors Center at the foot of the Mearah. This was a once-in-a lifetime event! Amazing! Yashar Koach to Nadia Matar, Yehudit Katsover and Women in Green for organizing this moving event!
