Progressing to Sovereignty – Updates |
|
| To all supporters and promoters of the vision of sovereignty, A new year, 5778, has begun and we are continuing and renewing the work of promoting the vision of sovereignty. Recent weeks have been characterized by what we have defined in an article that was published lately as "The Political Renaissance of the Right". One by one, ministers and members of Knesset who are supporters and leaders of sovereignty have been presenting their structured and detailed political plans. These plans represent a dramatic turning point in the character of political discourse in Israel. The Israeli Right no longer ensconces itself in a position where it just sends cautions and warnings regarding the plans of the Left, but now is presenting political plans that cause the Left to react and entrench itself in its own responses. However, the plans of politicians are not enough. These plans might remain as unused political options if the People do not express themselves to demand sovereignty, thereby providing a tailwind to the leaders of the sovereignty vision in Knesset and among governmental committees. This is why we have set out with the great sign-up campaign among the general public, seeking to encourage our leaders along the correct, Zionist and Jewish path of the People of Israel's sovereignty over its Land. Shana Tova and g'mar hatima tova!

The Shas party is among the supporters of sovereignty |
The head of the Shas faction in Knesset, MK Yoav ben Tzur, joins the call for the application of Israeli law in Judea and Samaria. In the conference that was held to mark fifty years since the victory of the Six Day War, MK ben Tzur said: "After 50 years of settlement we need to change from pursuing international recognition to nurturing international recognition. In 5778 – we must allow ourselves to be more venturesome. The time has come to stop making distinctions between different groups of Jews; the time has come to apply Israeli law in Judea and Samaria and to recognize the communities as an integral part of the greater whole, as an integral part of the State of Israel". |
