Translation of the speech by Member of Knesset Osher Shkalim:

Mr. Speaker of the Knesset and Members of Knesset,

I would like to raise for public discussion the issue of sovereignty.

Last week, I sent a letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu in which I requested and urged the application of sovereignty in Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.

Operation "Roar of the Lion" is creating a new world order and reshaping the Middle East.

In these days, we are roaring and fighting as full, equal, and unique partners together with the United States. On the other hand, we see the weakness of NATO and most Western countries.

Today, Israel is the regional superpower and the only true ally of the United States, which knows it can rely only on us. The Americans also understand that the destruction of Hamas and Hezbollah is critical and essential for Israel, and they will go all the way with us on this matter.

Therefore, this is the time to demand and implement the application of sovereignty as a diplomatic achievement. Just as we are winning on the battlefield, so too will we lead a diplomatic victory. The application of sovereignty is the ultimate diplomatic victory! It will serve as the practical realization of Israel's status as a regional power.

Moreover, the countries around us now understand that a strong Israel is no longer their enemy, but rather an anchor and a source of stability for the entire region.

Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley are an inseparable part of the Land of Israel and the State of Israel—not only by historical and spiritual right, but also as a strategic security belt that protects us. It is time that the residents, who through their very presence serve as a protective shield for the people of Israel, enjoy true equality of rights and are able to live normal civilian lives.

The application of sovereignty should not be a political issue, as it will make clear to our enemies that we are here to stay—and that only we will remain here. Our enemies have no place in our land.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, we are blessed with your leadership. You lead us with pride to achievements and victories, and no one is more fitting than you to also lead us toward the application of sovereignty.

There is no one else who understands the international arena better than you, and who enjoys the recognition and prestige that you rightfully deserve. This situation must be utilized to achieve the necessary diplomatic success.

This is the tremendous legacy you are shaping—one that will secure the status of our grandchildren for many years to come.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, the people are with you—we are with you. Continue to act and succeed!

בעודה מבכה את פטירת בתה בטרם עת, פצחו מעלילים ומכפישים במתקפות והאשמות קשות וחסרות בסיס עליה. מולם שומרת השרה סטרוק על שתיקה, הן בשל אבלה והן בשל כבוד בתה המנוחה.

Our dear colleague of extraordinary courage, Minister Orit Strook, who dedicates herself tirelessly to the people and Land of Israel, is facing an unimaginably difficult time.

While mourning the untimely loss of her beloved daughter, she has also endured cruel slander and baseless accusations. Yet, she remains dignified, honoring both her grief and her daughter's memory.

We, a group of colleagues and friends from across many fields, stand firmly with you, Orit. We offer our support, strength, and love during these trying days.

גם תחת כהונתה של ממשלת הימין המלא תפיסות השמאל ממשיכות לחלחל כפי שניתן לראות גם במבט חטוף על מפת ההתראות של פיקוד העורף. מפה מצורפת.

במפה זו מופיע על יהודה ושומרון, לב ליבו של העם היהודי וערש זהותו, הכיתוב המקומם 'הגדה המערבית'!!.

מישהו בצמרת צה"ל טרם הפנים שמדובר בארצנו שלנו ולא בקלף מיקוח פוליטי בדרך להקמת מדינת טרור, חלילה.

האבסורד מתרחש בימים בהם מהלך הסברתי עמוק מביא לשינוי בינלאומי עם החלטתן של כעשרים מדינות בארה"ב לאסור על הגדרת יהודה ושומרון כ'גדה מערבית' ומחייב את ציון האזור בשמו האמיתי, ההיסטורי והמבטא את הקשר העמוק של המקום לעם ישראל, יהודה ושומרון.

כתנועת ריבונות נברך את חבר הכנסת אושר שקלים שפנה לשר הביטחון, ישראל כ"ץ, בדרישה להורות על החזרת שמו האמיתי של האזור 'יהודה ושומרון' גם במפות הצבא, ובוודאי במפות פיקוד העורף.

An Israeli Missile Strikes at the heart of Israeli Sovereignty

Even under the tenure of a fully right-wing government, left-wing concepts continue to seep in, as can be seen even from a quick glance at the Home Front Command's alert map.

On this map, over Judea and Samaria — the very heart of the Jewish people and the cradle of its identity — appears the outrageous label the 

West Bank."

 Someone in the upper ranks of the IDF has yet to internalize that this is our own land, not a political bargaining chip on the way to establishing, Heaven forbid, a terror state.

The absurdity is occurring at a time when a profound public diplomacy effort is bringing about international change, with about twenty states in the United States deciding to prohibit the use of the term "West Bank" and requiring the area to be referred to by its true and historical name — one that expresses the deep connection of the place to the people of Israel: Judea and Samaria.

As the Sovereignty Movement, we welcome MK Osher Shkalim, who has approached Defense Minister Israel Katz with the demand to instruct that the region's true name, "Judea and Samaria," be restored in military maps — and certainly in the Home Front Command maps.

We call on the movement's supporters and members to contact the Home Front Command through the attached link, protest, and demand that the historical and Jewish truth also be reflected in the command's maps.

In addition, those who maintain direct contact with the Defense Minister and members of his office are encouraged to approach them directly and raise this demand respectfully, yet firmly and clearly. 

The current wording is nothing less than an Israeli missile striking at the heart of our sovereignty. We cannot allow this!
