Tomorrow Wednesday October 27^th at 5:00 pm, we will בע"ה meet in Jerusalem at Agron street, across what G-d forbid the US is planning to reopen as a consulate for the PA.

Twenty organizations have joined together for this first vigil of a series.

The establishment of an American consulate in Jerusalem for the Palestinian Authority

is a de facto partition of Jerusalem and transforms it into the capital of Palestine.

On Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 at 5:00 pm on Agron Street, Jerusalem

We will all meet for a vigil of information and protest.

We will express support for the position that all Israeli governments,

without exception, have shared:

United Jerusalem is Israel's capital and is indivisible!

As the subject of the opening of a US consulate for PA Arabs in Jerusalem is heating up,

we decided to jump into the water and start weekly vigils on Agron Street, until we manage to raise funds to organize something big.

Starting this coming Wednesday 27/10 at 5:00pm for two hours we will meet at Agron street.

Please save the date the and join us.

Details will be sent in the near future.

We would love to hear that you are with us.

For Jerusalem's sake we will not be silent !

תנועת הריבונות – הודעה לתקשורת (מאתמול)

תנועת הריבונות מחזקת את השרה שקד: "לא די בבלימת המדינה פלשתינית - יש לקדם ריבונות על יו"ש"

תנועת הריבונות בראשות יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, הגיבו לפני זמן קצר להכרזת השרה שקד כי לא תקום מדינה פלסטינית. התנועה מברכות את השרה על האמירה הברורה והנחרצת שלה שלא תקום מדינה פלסטינית, וקראו לשרה לא להסתפק בבלימת המדינה הפלסטינית אלא לפעול להחלת ריבונות ביהודה ושומרון בכדי "לגדוע את התקווה הערבית להקים מדינה על חורבותיה של מדינת ישראל", כלשונם.

תחילה חיזקו קצובר ומטר את השרה שקד "תנועת הריבונות מחזקת את ידי שרת הפנים איילת שקד, על הכרזתה הנחרצת באמירויות לפיה לא תקום מדינה פלשתינית. בעת האחרונה אנו עדים לקמפיין עקבי של גורמי השמאל למען חלוקת הארץ והקמת מדינה פלשתינית בליבה, אנו עדים גם למצעד הנדחפים בתור על מנת לחלות את פניו של יו"ר הרש"פ, אבו מאזן, הרואה בחיילי צה"ל ומפקדיו פושעים הראויים לעמוד לדין בהאג", מסרו.

בנוסף קראו בתנועה לקדם יוזמה ישראלית לריבונות "מול כל אלה חשובים ביותר דבריה של שרת הפנים שקד, אך עם זאת תנועתנו פונה אליה בבקשה: לא די בבלימת רעיונות המדינה פלשתינית. יש לקדם יוזמה ישראלית להחלת הריבונות על יהודה ושומרון וכצעד ראשון להתחיל בירושלים רבתי. רק כך ניתן יהיה לגדוע את התקווה הערבית להקים מדינה על חורבותיה של ישראל.

החלת הריבונות היא צעד הכרחי לביטחונה של מדינת ישראל ולהגשמת ייעודו היסטורי של עם ישראל בארצו", הוסיפו בתנועת הריבונות.

נזכיר כי היום פורסם כי שקד התראיינה לעיתון The National באמירויות, שם אמרה בין השאר כי ''ממשלת ישראל לא תדון בהקמת מדינה פלסטינית תחת ראש הממשלה הנוכחי בנט או לפיד כשייכנס לתפקיד בהסדר הרוטציה. יש קונצנזוס בין המפלגות שלא להתייחס לנושא שעלול לגרום לקרע פנימי."

PRESS RELEASE (from yesterday) - The Sovereignty Movement:

The Sovereignty Movement expressed strong support for the statement of Minister Shaked; however, "it is not sufficient to prevent a Palestinian state – sovereignty over Judea and Samaria must be promoted."

The Sovereignty Movement, headed by Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, recently responded to Minister Shaked's declaration that a Palestinian state would not be established. The movement congratulates the minister on her clear and decisive statement that a Palestinian state would not be established, and called upon the minister not to suffice with preventing a Palestinian state but to take action on behalf of applying sovereignty in Judea and Samaria in order to "dash Arab hopes of establishing a state upon the ruins of the State of Israel."

Katsover and Matar first expressed strong support for Minister Shaked. "The Sovereignty Movement strongly supports Minister Shaked for her resolute declaration in the Emirates that a Palestinian state would not be established. Recently, we have been witness to a consistent campaign of left-wing elements on behalf of partition of the Land and establishment of a Palestinian state in its heartland. We are also witness to the procession of those elbowing their way into the queue to pay homage to PA Chairman Abu Mazen, who considers IDF soldiers and its commanders criminals worthy of standing trial at The Hague," they said.

In addition, the movement called for promoting an Israeli initiative for sovereignty. "Against all these, the statement of Interior Minister Shaked is extremely significant. However, at the same time: Our movement directs a request to her: Frustrating the idea of a Palestinian state is insufficient. It is necessary to promote an Israeli initiative for the application of Israeli Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, and as a first step to begin in Greater Jerusalem. Only in this way, will it be possible to put an end to Arab hope of establishing a state upon Israel's ruins."

"The application of sovereignty is a vital step for the security of the State of Israel and for the fulfilment of the historical destiny of the people of Israel in its Land," the Sovereignty Movement added.

To provide some context, it was publicized today that Shaked was interviewed by The National newspaper in the Emirates, where she said, among other things, that "the Israeli government will not discuss establishment of a Palestinian state under the current Prime Minister Bennett, or Lapid when he takes office in the rotation arrangement. There is a consensus among the parties not to address an issue that is liable to cause an internal rift."
