היוזמה בידינו.
מאות בכנס החלת ריבונות ישראל ביהודה ושומרון-
מאות אנשים גדשו את אולם מרכז המבקרים שדה המכפלה בחברון בו התקיים כנס "היוזמה בידינו- ריבונות ישראל ביהודה ושומרון" שאורגן על ידי נשים בירוק בשיתוף עם חוג הפרופסורים לחוסן מדיני וכלכלי, ערוץ 7 ומרכז המבקרים שדה המכפלה.
מטרת הכנס לומר שוש ושוב ארץ ישראל שלנו ובגלל שהיא שלנו יש להחיל עליה את הריבונות.
אחד אחר השני התייחסו הדוברים לצורך להחיל את הריבונות ולמורכבות הנושא. מהן ההשלכות המדיניות, הכלכליות , הביטחוניות, הדמוגרפיות , האמריקאיות והערביות..
ח"כ ציפי חוטובלי, ח"כ אריה אלדד, קרוליין גליק, פרופ' רפי ישראלי, ערן בר-טל , יורם אטינגר, ד"ר יצחק קליין וד"ר גבי אביטל ריתקו את הקהל.
יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, מראשי תנועת נשים בירוק ומנחות הערב, הסבירו על הפעילות של התנועה באזור יהודה- על המאבק על ארץ ישראל בשטח ממש, המאבק לפתיחת ציר זעתרא, המאבק למען שדמה ואדוריים יהודית, המאבק להצלת אדמות המדינה בנצר מפני השתלטות ערבים ועוד. כל המאבקים האלו חשובים אך זה לא מספיק . הערבים, הממומנים היטב ע"י ארגונים בינלאומיים אנטישמים משתלטים יום יום, דקה דקה- על עוד ועוד אדמות וגבעות השייכות לנו, לעם ישראל, למדינת ישראל. הם קובעים עובדות בשטח וגוזלים את ארץ ישראל.
היה ברור להן שבנוסף למאבק הנקודתי החשוב בשטח- יש להוביל מהלך גדול של דרישה להחלת ריבונות ישראל ביהודה ושומרון, ולכן יזמו וארגנו את הכנס.
זוהי לא יוזמה ראשונה. כבר בשנת 1985 יזמה ח"כ דאז גאולה כהן הצעת חוק להחלת הריבונות על יהודה, שומרון וחבל עזה. יהודית קצובר הקריאה קטעים נבחרים מאותה יוזמה של גאולה כהן – קטעים מרגשים אודות זכותנו על הארץ והצורך הדחוף להחיל ריבונות. הצעת החוק כאילו נכתבה עבור ימים אלו.
ההרצאות בכנס תורגמו סימולטנית באוזניות למשתתפים דוברי האנגלית
רוח של אופטימיות עפפה את הכנס. נכון, החלת הריבונות כרוכה בקשיים אבל ניתן להתגבר עליהם ולא בשל הקשיים נוותר על ארץ ישראל.
ח"כ ציפי חוטובלי , יוזמת חוק החלת הריבונות על יהודה ושומרון, דברה על הפן הפרקטי של החלת הריבונות.
ח"כ אריה אלדד אמר שלדעתו ירדן היא פלשתין ולכן יש לדחוף את רעיון טרנספר מרצון.
קרוליין גליק, עורכת משנה של הג'רוזלם פוסט ועורכת ראשית של אתר לאטמה דברה על כך שהחלת הריבונות היא האופציה היחידה אם ברצונה של ישראל להתקיים. "נכון, הדבר לא פשוט אבל האלטרנטיבה היא התאבדות לאומית".
יורם אטינגר, הביא נתונים אופטימיים על המצב הדמוגרפי של ישראל, הזים את השקר הדמוגרפי. הדמוגרפיה היהודית בעלייה והערבית בירידה. עוד הביא נתונים על המצב הטוב של ישראל בארה"ב בקונגרס ובדעת הקהל האמריקאית.
ערן בר טל, עורך מוסף הכלכלה של מקור ראשון, דיבר על הפן הכלכלי של החלת הריבונות ועל כמה החלת הריבונות יכולה לפתור בעיות כלכליות רבות וביניהן גם את בעיית הדיור הנמצאת כיום על סדר היום.
הנתונים שהביא ד"ר יצחק קליין מראים שיש שינוי דרמאטי בדעת הקהל והיא זזה ימינה. שינוי זה יוצר הזדמנות לשנות את המדיניות בזמן הקרוב .לא עוד דיבורים על מדינה פלשתינית או על נסיגות אלא דיבורים על החלת הריבונות על יהודה ושומרון.
בסקר שנעשה במאיי 2011 ע"י המרכז המדיני לישראל בראשות דורי גולד מראה שאחוז המתנגדים למסירת שטחים גם במסגרת הסכם, הוא גבוה מאד. מעבר ל55% ואף מגיע ל90% כשמדובר באפשרות של מסירת שטחים השולטים על שדה התעופה בן גוריון.
ד"ר גבי אביטל , יו"ר חוג הפרופסורים לחוסן מדיני וכלכלי, סיכם את הערב וקרא לציבור להיות אופטימיים.
המאבק להחלת הריבונות ביהודה ושומרון חייב להמשיך ולתפוס תאוצה במישור הציבורי ובמישור הפרלמנטארי.
ח"כ אלקין, יו"ר הקואליציה ויו"ר שדולת ארץ ישראל שלח מכתב לבאי הכנס ובו נאמר:
"אין כמו חברון מקום מתאים לכנס הדן בריבונות ישראל ביהודה ושומרון. בחברון התקיים קנין ראשון בארץ ישראל. קנין שהעולם כולו יודע אותו! החלת הריבונות ביהודה ושומרון זהו הפתרון הצודק ביותר. היסטורית אנו שייכים להר הזה וההר הזה שייך לעם ישראל. אני מברך את באי הכנס, דוברי הכנס, מארגני הכנס על הדחיפה להעלאת המודעות שלא ארץ זרה כבשנו, אלא שבנו אל מחוזות הארץ המובטחת ועל כן ריבונות ישראל בהן טבעית היא. בברכה, זאב אלקין

Hundreds at the Conference for Applying Israeli Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria
Hundreds of people packed the Machpela Visitors' Center in Hebron for the "Regaining the Initiative - Israeli Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria" conference that was organized by Women in Green, in cooperation with Professors for a Strong Israel, Israel National News (Arutz 7), and the Machpela Visitors' Center.
The purpose of the conference was to declare, again and again, that Eretz Israel is ours, and because it is ours, Israeli sovereignty is to be applied to it.
One speaker after the other related to the need to apply sovereignty and the complexity of the issue: what are the diplomatic, economic, security, demographic, American, and Arab consequences.
MK Tsipi Hotovely, MK Aryeh Eldad, Caroline Glick, Prof. Rafi Yisraeli, Eren Bar-Tal, Yoram Ettinger, Dr. Yitzhak Klein, and Dr. Gabi Avital kept the audience on the edge of their seats.
Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, the leaders of Women in Green and the moderators of the evening, explained the activities of the movement in the Judea region - the struggle for Eretz Israel on the ground, literally, the struggle to open the Zaatra route, the struggle for a Jewish Shdema and Adurayim, the struggle to save state lands at Netzer from Arab takeover, and more. All of these struggles are important, but this is not enough. Every day, every minute, the Arabs, who are well financed by anti-Semitic international organizations, take over more and more state lands and hills that belong to us, to the people of Israel, to the State of Israel. They are establishing facts on the ground and stealing Eretz Israel.
It was clear to Yehudit and Nadia that, in addition to the important localized struggle on the ground, we must lead the great step of demanding the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, and therefore they initiated and organized the conference.
This is not the first initiative. Already in 1985 the Member of Knesset at the time Geula Cohen initiated a draft resolution of a law for the application of sovereignty over Judea, Samaria, and the Gaza District. Yehudit Katsover read selections from that initiative by Geula Cohen - moving passages about our right to the land, and the urgent need to apply sovereignty. It's as if this draft of a law was written for our time.
The lectures at the conference were simultaneously translated in earphones for the English-speaking participants.
An optimistic spirit enveloped the conference. Yes, the application of sovereignty entails difficulties, but they can be overcome, and we will not relinquish the Land of Israel because of such obstacles.
MK Tsipi Hotovely, the initiator of the law for the application of sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, spoke of the practical aspect of the application of sovereignty.
MK Aryeh Eldad said that, in his opinion, Jordan is Palestine, and therefore the idea of consensual transfer is to be advanced.
Caroline Glick, the Deputy Managing Editor of the Jerusalem Post, and the Editor in Chief of the Latma site, said that the application of sovereignty is the only option if Israel desires to exist. "True, this is not simple, but the alternative is national suicide."
Yoram Ettinger presented optimistic statistics on Israel's demographic situation, and refuted the demographic lie. Jewish demography is on the rise, and Arab demography, on the decline. He also presented statistics on Israel's good situation in the United States, in the Congress, and in American public opinion.
Eran Bar-Tal, the editor of the Mekor Rishon economic supplement, spoke on the economic aspect of the application of sovereignty, and the extent to which its application could solve many economic problems, including the problem of housing that is on the agenda at present.
The data presented by Dr. Yitzhak Klein show a dramatic change in public opinion, which is moving to the right. This change creates an opportunity to change policy soon. No more talk of a Palestinian state or of withdrawals, but talk of the application of sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.
A survey conducted in May 2011 by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs headed by Dore Gold showed that a very high percentage oppose the handing over of territories, even within the framework of an agreement: more than 55 percent, and it reaches 90 percent regarding the possibility of the handing over of territories that control the Ben-Gurion International Airport.
Dr. Gabi Avital, the Chairman of Professors for a Strong Israel, summed up the evening and called upon the public to be optimistic.
The struggle for the application of sovereignty over Judea and Samaria must continue and take on added momentum in both the public and parliamentary spheres.
MK Elkin, the coalition head and the chairman of the Eretz Israel lobby, sent a letter to those attending the conference in which he wrote:
No place is as suitable as Hebron for a conference discussing Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. The first act of acquisition in Eretz Israel took place in Hebron. An act of acquisition that the entire world knows! The application of sovereignty over Judea and Samaria is the most just solution. Historically, we belong to this hill country, and this hill country belongs to the people of Israel. I congratulate those attending the conference, those speaking at the conference and the conference's organizers, for pushing to raise the consciousness that we did not conquer a foreign land, we rather returned to the regions of the Promised Land, and therefore Israeli sovereignty over them is only natural.
