מחויבים לארץ ישראל-
לגבעת אסף, למיגרון, לעמונה, לשכונת האולפנה
במסגרת מחויבויותינו לארץ ישראל ובעקבות הגזירה הבלתי נסבלת של גירוש יהודים מישובים וותיקים ופורחים, ארגנו –תנועת נשים בירוק- סיור למקומות הנ"ל, כדי ללמוד מקרוב את הנושא ולראות במה אנו יכולים להושיט עזרה.
ביום שישי, אסרו חג סוכות, יצאנו כמה עשרות פעילים לדרך שהתחילה בעיר האבות, דרך גוש עציון, אפרת, ירושלים ואסוף אנשים נוספים ממעלה אדומים, גבעת זאב ואריאל.
בתחנה הראשונה – גבעת אסף- קבלו את פנינו הרב מרדכי רבינוביץ וחנן אקסטר שהסבירו לנו שחרב הגירוש והחורבן מונפת מעל הישוב ותאריך היעד-עד דצמבר השנה. הישוב מורכב מעשרות משפחות צעירות שבאו להתיישב בארץ ישראל, בשכונת קראוונים, בתנאים לא פשוטים באמירה: הטרור הערבי לא ירתיע אותנו. אנו נדבוק בארץ הזו ועוד נתרחב בה. כזכור גבעת אסף הוקמה בשנת 2001 אחרי רצח אסף הרשקוביץ הי"ד.
תנועת "שלום עכשיו" שמטרתה היא הרס ההתיישבות היהודית ביהודה ושומרון ,גייסה לצידה את המערכת המשפטית ובעזרת הטיעון החדש שאדמות שהן לא אדמות מדינה הופכות מיד ל"אדמות פרטיות של ערבים"- על המתיישבים לעזוב את המקום. חשוב להבין שמדובר בטיעון סרק . אדמות אלה הן אדמות שמלך ירדן חילק לפני 1967, על הנייר בלבד, לערביי "הגדה" על מנת לנסות ולפייסם. אדמות אלה לעולם לא עובדו, אף אחד לא דרש אותן ולישראל היה כל זכות להקים עליהן ישובים. פתאום היום, שנים אחרי הקמת הישובים, ביוזמת שלום עכשיו ואולי אף בעידודם הכספי, מופיעים ערבים שטוענים שאדמות אלה שלהם. ובג"ץ מאמץ את טענות ...
גבעת אסף נערכת למאבק. לא בשביל בתיה אלא מתוך ראייה לאומית, אחראית שאם גבעת אסף חו"ח תיפול- הטיעון הפסודו-משפטי יכול להפיל אף את רמת אביב ג' ולא רק את יהודה ושומרון.
הגבעה מתכוננת היטב, הסיקה מסקנות ממאבקים קודמים והאנרגיות מופנות לאפיק הפוליטי, ההסברתי וגם למאבק בשטח אם יהיה צורך. נפגשנו עם אנשים נחושים וחזקים השמחים לכל עזרה.

אותו טיעון של "אדמות פרטיות" שמענו גם במקומות האחרים שביקרנו בהם. בבית אל פגשנו את הראל כהן, תושב שכונת האולפנא, ושמענו את ראש המועצה משה רוזנבאום המפגין אופטימיות זהירה. שרים וחברי כנסת שביקרו בשכונת האולפנא לא העלו על דעתם שמדובר בשכונה עם בניינים רבי קומות, מאוכלסת במשפחות עם עשרות ילדים. "אין כמו מראה עיניים" אומר משה רוזנבאום. כאשר נפגשים עם המציאות בשטח היחס משתנה וכולם מבטיחים להרתם ולעזור.
בעמונה פגשנו את איציק שדמי יו"ר ועד מתיישבי בנימין שעל כתפיו הרחבות מוטלת אחריות המאבק. איציק שדמי בקש מהאנשים להתגייס למאבק הפוליטי, לדבר עם שרים וח"כים שהלחץ יניע אותם לפעול וללחוץ על ראש הממשלה אשר בידו האפשרות לשנות את גזירת הגירוש.
בימים אלה יופצו הטלפונים של שרים וחברי כנסת כדי שכל אחד יוכל להשתתף בלחץ הכה חיוני להצלת הישובים הנ"ל.
המצב לא פשוט כלל ועיקר – ראינו בהצבעה לשחרור גלעד שליט איך שהשרים הצביעו עם ראש הממשלה (מלבד שלושה). שרים הכי ימניים ששומרים על בוחריהם בהתיישבות ע"י הצהרות ימניות קיצוניות וע"י הזרמת תקציבים וביקורים...אך ברגע האמת...איננו יודעים מה יהיה חשוב יותר: הנאמנות לנתניהו או לארץ ישראל. על נתניהו קשה לסמוך. היום הוא פועל בניגוד מוחלט למה שכתב והטיף בימי חייו. על כן חשובה מאד ההתגייסות של כולנו למנוע- והדגש על למנוע- את הגירוש המתוכנן.

to Givat Asaf, to Migron, to Amona, to the Ulpanah neighborhood in Beit El
As part of our commitment to Eretz Israel, and in the wake of the intolerable decree of the expulsion of Jews from veteran and flourishing settlements, we - the Women in Green movement - organized a tour of these locations, to learn the subject from close up and to see how we can help.
On Friday, Isru Hag (the day after Simhat Torah), several dozen activists set out, beginning our journey in the City of the Patriarchs, continuing on to Gush Etzion, Efrat, Jerusalem, with the addition of more people from Maaleh Edumim, Givat Zeev, and Ariel.
At our first stop, Givat Asaf, we were received by Rabbi Mordechai Rabinovitch and Hanan Eckster, who explained to us that the sword of expulsion hangs over the community, with December of this year as the target date. The community consists of dozens of young families who came to settle Eretz Israel, in a neighborhood of karavanim (mobile housing units), under difficult conditions, declaring: Arab terror will not deter us. We will cling to this land, and we will expand within it. It should be recalled that Givat Asaf was established in 2001, after the murder of Asaf Hershkowitz, may the L-rd avenge him.
The Peace Now movement, whose goal is the destruction of Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria, has recruited the judicial system to assist it, aided by the new argument that lands that are not state lands immediately become the "private lands of Arabs," and the Jewish residents must leave there. It is important to understand that this is a baseless argument. These are lands that the Jordanian king apportioned before 1967 - only on paper - to Arabs of the "West Bank" in order to try and placate them. These lands were never cultivated, no one asked for them, and Israel has every right to establish communities on them. Now, all of a sudden, years after the establishment of the communities, upon the initiative of Peace Now and perhaps also with its monetary encouragement, Arabs appear out of nowhere claiming that these lands are theirs. And the High Court of Justice accepts the Arabs' claims...
Givat Asaf is ready for the struggle. Not for its houses, but out of a national, responsible perspective, that if, Heaven forbid, Givat Asaf were to fall - the pseudolegal claim could also topple Ramat Aviv Gimel, and not only Judea and Samaria.
Givat Asaf is well prepared. It learned the lessons from previous struggles, and its energies are directed to the political and informational channels, and to a struggle on the ground as well, if necessary. We met determined and strong people who are happy for any assistance.

We also heard the claim of "private lands" in the other places that we visited. In Beit El we met Harel Cohen, a resident of the Ulpanah neighborhood, and we heard Moshe Rosenbaum, the Mayor of Beit El, showing guarded optimism. Government ministers and Members of Knesset who visited the Ulpanah neighborhood did not imagine that this was a neighborhood with multistory buildings, in which families live, with scores of children. "Seeing is understanding," Moshe Rosenbaum says. When a person encounters the reality on the ground, his attitude changes, and everyone promises to join the struggle and help.
In Amona we met Itzik Shadmi, Chairman of the Benjamin Action' Committee, whose broad shoulders bear responsibility for the struggle. Itzik asked those present to join the political struggle, to speak with government ministers and MKs - the pressure will motivate them to act and exert pressure on the Prime Minister, who is capable of changing the expulsion decree.
In the coming days the telephone numbers of government ministers and MKs will be distributed, so that everyone will be able to participate in exerting the pressure that is so essential for saving these settlements.
The situation is not at all straightforward - we saw in the vote for the freeing of Gilad Shalit how the government ministers (except for three) voted with the Prime Minister. The most rightwing ministers who keep their voters in the settlements by extreme rightwing pronouncements and by providing budgets and visits ... but at the moment of truth ... don't know what will be more important: loyalty to Netanyahu, or to Eretz Israel. It is hard to rely on Netanyahu, today he acts completely in opposition to what he wrote and preached earlier in his life. Therefore, mobilization by everyone is extremely important to prevent - with the emphasis on prevention - the planned expulsion.
