חוגגים עצמאות בנצר- בסימן "שומרים עליך ארץ אהובה!"
תכונה רבה ניכרת בגבעות נצר, בלב גוש עציון, בין הישובים אלעזר ואלון שבות. הערבים אשר הבינו שהולך להיות שם האירוע המרכזי של יום העצמאות בגוש עציון, חסמו את הכניסה העליונה בבולדרים. הפעילים הזיזו את הבולדרים ופתחו את כל הצירים.
ההכנות לארוע שיתקיים בע"ה ביום חמישי בין השעות 12:00-16:30, בעיצומן. ארוע מסוג זה הוא ארוע מאתגר ולא פשוט. טרקטור מיישר את האדמה. מתנפחים יתפסו את השטח המיושר. האמנים באים לבדוק כיצד יארגנו את הסדנאות לילדים. אטרקציה מיוחדת יהיה הקוסם הרב ויקטור עטיה. מים יהיו מצנרת ההשקיה המשקה במשך השנה את מאות העצים שהפעילים נטעו כדי לשמור על אדמות היהודים מפני השתלטות ערבים. ג'יפים יסיירו עם האורחים בכל השטחים שנגאלו ע"י נטיעות . ציליות מוקמות לנוחות המנגליסטים ואדם צחי מתקין את מיתרי גרונו למופע "שרים לך ארץ אהובה" בשעה 15:30.
המועצה האזורית גוש עציון והעומד בראשה מר דוידי פרל רואים בנצר נקודה אחת מיני רבות המייצגת את המאבק על הקרקעות שנגזלות יום יום מעם ישראל, בנגב, בגליל, בשומרון, בבקעה ובגוש עציון. מר דוידי פרל ישא ברכות בשעה 15:00.גם ראש מועצת אפרת מר עודד רביבי יגיע לנצר וכן הרב גדעון פרל, רב אזורי גוש עציון, חתן פרס נובל פרופ' ישראל אומן, וח"כ פרופ' אריה אלדד.
המערכה על ארצנו בעיצומה. הערבים במימון אירופאי ובעידוד ושיתוף פעילים אנרכיסטים בינלאומיים, הצליחו בחודשים האחרונים לחרוש ולזרוע חיטה על מאות דונמים בכל אזור יהודה וזאת כדי להשתלט על שטחים חדשים. בימים אלה הם מגדירים את השטחים בגדרות שנתרמו להם ע"י ארגונים אנטי-ישראליים בינלאומיים.
יום העצמאות יכול להיות סתם יום של מנגל אך יכול להיות גם יום עם משמעות. אזרחי ישראל מוזמנים לבוא לגבעות יהודה ושומרון ולנצר בפרט לדרוש ברגליהם ריבונות ישראל בכל יהודה ושומרון.

Celebrating Independence Day at Netzer -
Under the Banner: "We Safeguard You, Beloved Land!"
Much is happening on the hills of Netzer. The Arabs, who realized that the central Yom ha-Atzmaut (Israel Independence Day) event in Gush Etzion will be held there, blocked the upper entrance with boulders. The activists moved the boulders and opened all the trails.
Preparations are underway for the event, that, G-d willing, will take place on Yom Haatsmaut, Thursday between 12:00 and 4:30 p.m.
An event of this sort, in the hills, is challenging, and not simple. A tractor leveled the area. Inflatables for the children will fill the leveled area. The arts and crafts people are coming to see how to organize their workshops for the children. A special attraction will be the magician Rabbi Victor Attia. Water will be supplied by the irrigation pipes that, all year long, water the hundreds of trees that the activists planted to guard the Jewish lands from Arab takeover. The visitors will tour in 4 X 4 vehicles all the areas redeemed by the plantings. Canvas sheeting will provide shade for the barbecuers, and Adam Tzachi is rehearsing for his "We Sing to You, Beloved Land" performance at 3:30 p.m.
The Gush Etzion Local Council and its head Davidi Perl view Netzer as one location among many that represent the struggle for the lands that are being stolen from the people of Israel on a daily basis - in the Negev, in Galilee, in Samaria, in the Jordan Valley, and in Gush Etzion. Mayor Davidi Perl will give his greetings at 3:00 p.m. So will the head of the Efrat Local Council Oded Revivi be in Netzer, as will the Gush Etzion regional rabbi Rabbi Gideon Perl, Nobel Prize laureate Israel Aumann, and MK Prof. Aryeh Eldad.
The battle for our land is being waged, in full force. In recent months the Arabs, with European funding and with the encouragement and participation of international anarchists, have succeeded in plowing and planting hundreds of dunams of wheat throughout the entire Judea region, all in order to take over new areas. Now, they are fencing off areas with fences that were donated to them by international anti-Israel organizations.
Yom ha-Atzmaut can be just another day of barbecuing, but it can also be a day with meaning. Israelis are invited to come to the hills of Judea and Samaria, and especially to Netzer, to demand, with their feet, Israeli sovereignty in all Judea and Samaria.
Attached is a flyer that all participants will receive on Thursday when arriving to Netzer. It details the activities of the day and shows the map of the Netzer hills .
The pink areas are lands that belong to the Jewish People and need to be guarded from Arab take-over.
The areas showing trees with a Magen David are areas that have been planted over the past three years with hundreds of trees
by Women in Green and Netzer activists, with the support and partnership of many Israel lovers in Israel and abroad.
The red benches show where Jews have "planted" benches to increase the Jewish presence in Netzer.
