In a few months we will celebrate 20 years to the existence of Women for Israel's Tomorrow (Women in Green).
It is thanks to all of you, friends and supporters of Israel in Israel and abroad that we are able to continue all our activities
for safeguarding the Land of Israel in the hands of the Jewish People. We thank you and call upon you to continue to be full partners.
Many of you have asked us to organize safe online US tax deductible donations.

This summer , in addition to our usual weekly activities,
we please G-d will have important programs that can be implemented only with your support and partnership:
* Thursday July 12th- The Conference on Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria
* The week of July 22- our third agricultural youth camp
*Motsaei Shabbat July 28- the 18th annual Women in Green Tisha B'Av Walk around the Walls of the Old City. Yes, after we filed
a petition with the High Court, the police withdrew its objections and told us we can hold our walk like every year.
As long time Women in Green friends, we call upon you to contact family and friends and urge them to support us too.

Women for Israel's Tomorrow, popularly known as Women in Green, founded in 1993 by Ruth and Michael Matar, is a grassroots movement of women and men, young and old, secular and religious, all bound together by a shared love and concern for the Land of Israel. We are a registered Israeli non-profit organization with friends and supporters in Israel and abroad.
Our movement is dedicated to safeguarding our G-d given Biblical homeland.
"Eretz Yisrael Le'Am Yisrael" "The Land of Israel belongs to the People of Israel" is our motto.
We are popularly known as "the Women in Green" because of the green hats we wore in our campaign against the abandonment of parts of our homeland and to the return of Israel to the "Green Line", the pre-1967 borders.
We act out of the belief in the central role of the Land of Israel to the future of the Jewish People.
We are primarily action oriented, promoting our educational messages in very practical ways.
- We plant trees on state lands in Judea to safeguard the lands for future generations.
- We hold educational agricultural camps for youth during school breaks and in the summer where local youth both plant trees and hear educational lectures.
- We returned a Jewish presence to the former Israeli army base of Shdema overlooking the strategic highway between Jerusalem and Tekoa by holding weekly educational and cultural activities there for over two years.
- For the past 18 years, we've revived an ancient custom of encircling the gates of the Old City of Jerusalem on Tisha B'Av eve to express our loyalty to Jerusalem, Israel's undivided united capital.
In addition to our almost daily activities on the ground, Women in Green together with others are advancing a grassroots apolitical historical initiative to re-apply Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. The first conference on this topic, with hundreds of participants, was held last year in Hevron.
Our second conference will be held, please G-d, on July 12, 2012.
Thank G-d, we are far from alone: there is tremendous popular support, in Israel and abroad,
for the natural proposition that the Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish People.

In the famous Biblical story of the spies sent by Moses to scout out the Jewish People's entry into the Land of Israel,a leader arose to dispel the fear and discouragement that the spies sowed. He proclaimed "Let us by all means go up, and we shall gain possession of it."
