סיכום יום א' של המשמרת וסרטון "העם מדבר אל ראש ממשלתו
בתנועת 'נשים בירוק' מסכמים בסיפוק את יומה הראשון של משמרת המחאה מול בית ראש הממשלה, משמרת שהתנהלה ותתנהל במהלך השבוע הקרוב תחת הכותרת "אמהות אומרות כן להחלת ריבונות ישראל על יהודה ושומרון".
ראשי 'נשים בירוק', יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, מספרות כי "במשך היום, בין השעה 9:00 בבוקר ל- 21:00, פקדו את מאהל המשמרת עשרות נשים וגברים "אמיצים", הן אומרות ומדגישות כי "המשמרת מיועדת לכולם, גברים כנשים, על אף שהיא מבליטה את הקריאה העולה מתוך כוחן של נשים לחולל שינוי, כוח הנובע מתוך דאגתן להמשכיות ולדורות הבאים של עם ישראל בארצו".
"לא היה מפתיע לשמוע מהנשים ומהעוברים ושבים דברי חיזוק נוסח 'ב"ה שמתעוררים', 'חיזקו ואימצו' ועוד. ניתן היה לחוש את הכאב על המתרחש בזירה המדינית והפוליטית מדברי המשתתפים כולם".
אל המתכנסים למשמרת המחאה הצטרפו במהלך היום חברת הכנסת אורי סטרוק והפרופ' אריה אלדד, יו"ר חוג הפרופסורים לחוסן מדיני וכלכלי. תמיכה מיוחדת העניקה למשמרת שוש מסיקה, רעייתו של ראש מועצת שומרון, גרשון מסיקה, שנכחה במקום במשך היום כולו וקבעה כי אל מול ההתפתחויות האחרונות והרעיונות המדיניים המופרכים שעולים ונשמעים "אי אפשר לשתוק יותר".
קצובר ומטר מספרות כי במהלך היום הגיעו אל המקום משתתפים "מכל רחבי הארץ ומכל גווני הקשת מרעננה, מחשמונאים, מירושלים,ממודיעין עלית, מעלה אדומים, גמזו, רמת הגולן, קרני שומרון, אפרת, קרית ארבע חברון ועוד". השתיים מוסיפות וקוראות לרבים אחרים "לבוא להשתתף לחזק ולתמוך".
יצוין כי גם היום (שני) יימשך מיזם 'העם מדבר אל ראש הממשלה' ובו תינתן בימה חופשית למבקשים זאת להעלות את עמדתם מעל בימת נואמים קטנה וזו מתועדת ונאספת אל קריאה גדולה שעיקרה החובה המדינית, המוסרית והציונית להחיל את ריבונות ישראל על ארצו כולה ולדחות את תכניות הבלהות לחלוקת הארץ והקמת מדינת טרור בלב ערשו של העם היהודי.

Summary day one of Mothers vigil + video "The People speak to their Prime Minister"
The Women in Green movement expresses satisfaction with the first day of the mothers' vigil at the prime minister's house, a vigil that was conducted and will continue to be conducted this week entitled "The Mothers say 'YES' to Application of Israeli Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria".
The heads of Women in Green, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, say that "During the day, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 21:00 PM, dozens of courageous women and men visited the vigil's tent", and they emphasize that the vigil is for everyone, men as well as women, although they stress that the call arises from the power of women to make a change, a power that stems from their concern for continuity and future generations of the People of Israel in its Land".
"It was not unusual to hear words of encouragement from women and passersby such as 'thank G-d that people are waking up', 'keep up the good work' and so forth. We could sense the pain felt by all of those who participated, arising from the political process now being conducted".
During the course of the day, MK Orit Struck and Professor Arie Eldad, the head of Professors for a Strong Israel, joined those who had gathered for the protest vigil.
Shosh Mesika, the wife of the head of the Samaria Council Gershon Mesika, gave the vigil exceptional support by remaining with us for the entire day. She stated that in light of the preposterous developments and political ideas that have arisen lately, it is impossible to remain silent".
Katsover and Matar say that during the course of the day participants arrived "from throughout the entire land and from all walks of life; from Ra'anana, from Hashmonaim, from Jerusalem, from Upper Modi'in, from Ma'ale Adumim, Gamzu, the Golan Heights, Karnei Shomron, Efrat, Kiryat Arba-Hebron and other places". The two women call for many others "to come, to participate, to strengthen and to support" the initiative.
We note that the initiative, "The People Speak to the Prime Minister" will continue today as well, where those who request it will be given a platform on which to express their views, which will be documented and collected into a demand, the core of which is the State of Israel 's ethical and Zionist obligation to apply Israeli sovereignty over its entire land and to reject the alarming and unrealistic plan to divide the land and establish a terror state in the heart of the cradle of the Jewish People.
