ביום ראשון הקרוב, כ"ח חשון, 15/11 בשעה 19:00 נקיים בע"ה הרצאה נוספת במסגרת הרצאות עוז וגאו"ן בZOOM.
הפעם נשמע מפי ציפי שליסל על פרעות תרפ"ט דרך סיפור משפחתה.
ציפי שליסל, תושבת חברון, אם לאחד עשר ילדים, מדריכה במוזיאון לתודלות הישוב היהודי בחברון ומחברת הספר "חברון שוברת שתיקה" תספר לנו את סיפור הצלתה של סבתה ומשפחתה בפרעות תרפ"ט- סיפור הפותח לנו צוהר להכרת הקהילה היהודית בחברון, החורבן והשבר הנורא שעברה בפרעות תרפ"ט, ועל ניסיונות הבניין מחדש. ציפי תיגע קצת גם בנקודות השקה אקטואליות למה שקורה היום.

ההרצאה הבאה תהיה בע"ה ביום א' ו' כסלו ה22/11 (באנגלית) עם השגריר לשעבר יורם אטינגר שינתח את תוצאות הבחירות. ולאחר מכן ב13/12 (בעברית) עם עו"ד ניצנה דרשן לייטנר.

Oz veGaon ZOOM Lectures
Dear friends,
Next Sunday, the 28th of Heshvan, November 15th at 7:00pm, G-d willing, we will hold another lecture (in Hebrew) at Oz veGaon as part of the Oz veGaon Lectures series on ZOOM.
This time we will hear from Tzipi Shlissel on the Arab riots of 1939, through her family's experience.
Tzipi Shlissel, a resident of Hevron, mother of eleven, guide at the Hevron Heritage Center and author of the book Hevron Breaks its Silence (Hebrew), will tell us the story of how her grandmother was rescued along with her family in the riots of 1929 – a story that gives us a glance into the Jewish community of Hevron, the terrible destruction and crisis that it underwent in the riots of 1929 and about the efforts to rebuild. Tzipi will also relate to points of similarity to what is happening today.
A compelling lecture – don't miss it!

After that, on December 13th we will hear a lecture (in Hebrew) by Atty. Nitsana Darshan Leitner.
