כפי שביטא אותה היום (מוצאי שבת) במסיבת העיתונאים המשותפת עם השרים ליברמן ולפיד שהצטרף לעמדתו זו .
נכוחים דבריו של ראש הממשלה ולפיהם ירושלים היא אך ורק בירתו של העם היהודי.

בדבריו אלה חוסם ראש הממשלה ניסיון מסוכן לכרסם בריבונותה של ישראל על בירתו הנצחית של העם היהודי.
ירושלים היא מעל לכל מחלוקת פוליטית. מאחורי עמדה ברורה זו מלוכד עם ישראל כולו ומחזק את עמידת ממשלת ישראל מול כל לחץ אמריקאי ואחר.

The Sovereignty Movement congratulates the Prime Minister on his unambiguous position on the sovereignty of Jerusalem
The Sovereignty Movement wishes to express its support to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in wake of his firm stance against the establishment of an American consulate for the Palestinian Authority in Jerusalem, as expressed today (Saturday night) at the joint press conference with Minister Yair Lapid, who expressed his support for this position, and Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
"The prime minister's statement that Jerusalem is the exclusive capital of the Jewish people is completely accurate.
