ברכת תנועת הריבונות לחג החנוכה

לפעילינו היקרים,
אז כמו היום.
אז כמו היום – העם היהודי ניצב מול מי שמבקשים לכבות את אורו.
אז היו אלה היוונים שביקשו לעקור את זהותנו, את אמונתנו ואת זכותנו לריבונות בארצנו.
היום – קיצוניות אלימה ושונאי ישראל, הפוגעים ביהודים באשר הם, בארץ ובעולם, כפי שראינו בפיגוע המזעזע בסידני.
אז כמו היום – ההתנגדות היא לא רק פיזית, אלא רוחנית: ניסיון לערער את זכותנו להיות עם חופשי בארצנו, נאמן לאמונתו ולדרכו.
אז כמו היום – התשובה שלנו היא עמידה איתנה.
להגביר אור על פני חושך, אמונה על פני פחד, ריבונות יהודית על פני טרור ושנאה.
ומתוך הכאב והדאגה לאחינו בתפוצות, אנו אומרים באהבה ובאחריות:
עתידו של העם היהודי מובטח רק בארץ ישראל.
כאן ביתנו, כאן ריבונותנו, וכאן המקום לבנות חיים יהודיים מלאים, בטוחים ובעלי משמעות.
בחנוכה הזה אנו מחזקים את הקהילות היהודיות בכל העולם, וקוראים להם לעלות הביתה – לארץ ישראל, ולהמשיך יחד את סיפור הגבורה, האמונה והאור.
חג חנוכה של אור, גבורה, ריבונות ותקווה.

A Hanukkah greeting from the Sovereignty Movement
To our dear members,
Then, as today.
Then, as today — the Jewish people stand facing those who seek to extinguish our light.
Then it was the Greeks, who tried to uproot our identity, our faith, and our right to sovereignty in our land.
Today — it is violent extremism and haters of Israel, who harm Jews wherever they are, in Israel and around the world, as we saw in the shocking attack in Sydney.
Then, as today — the struggle is not only physical, but spiritual: an attempt to undermine our right to be a free people in our homeland, faithful to our beliefs and our path.
Then, as today — our response is steadfast resolve:
to increase light over darkness, faith over fear, Jewish sovereignty over terror and hatred.
And from the pain and concern for our brothers and sisters in the Diaspora, we say with love and responsibility:
the future of the Jewish people is assured only in the Land of Israel.
Here is our home, here is our sovereignty, and here is the place to build full, safe, and meaningful Jewish lives.
This Hanukkah, we strengthen the Jewish communities throughout the world and call upon them to come home — to the Land of Israel — and together continue the story of heroism, faith, and light.
A Hanukkah holiday of light, heroism, sovereignty and hope.
