אסתר פולארד בתפילת נשים במערת המכפלה:
"מצבו של יהונתן משקף את מצב עם ישראל וארץ ישראל"
מעל 500 נשים יצאו שלשום, יום שלישי י"ד אלול, לחברון "לפגוש את המלך בשדה" באמצע חודש אלול ולגייס את האבות והאמהות לתפילה מעומק הלב לשחרורו של יהונתן פולארד ולחיזוקה של ארץ ישראל. (לצפייה בסרטון נא הקלק על הלינק למטה)
האוטובוסים מרחבי הארץ הגיעו אחד אחר השני ומתוכם יצאו נשים ונערות אשר טיפסו במדרגות מערת המכפלה ובמדרגות התפילה.
התפילה שנשאה אסתר פולארד בתוך מערת המכפלה פרצה את שערי שמים ומחיצות הלב ודמעות נראו בעניים רבות.
אסתר פולארד דיברה בהתרגשות רבה על מצבו של יונתן כמשקף את מצב עם ישראל וארץ ישראל. כמוכן סיפרה אסתר על מצבו הבריאותי של יונתן הזקוק לרפואה ולגאולה.
את המשך הערב עשו הנשים במרכז המבקרים שדה המכפלה למרגלות המערה. ראשית הקרינו יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר סרטון אודות המאבק היומיומי לגאולת קרקעות המנוהל בגבעות יהודה ע"י תנועת נשים בירוק. לאחר מכן נהנו הנשים משירתם של אודליה ברלין וקרן גולן המקסימות. קרני אלדד הצטרפה בצורה ספונטאנית להופעה.
הערב הסתיים בריקודים ושירה מלאי תקווה ותפילה לשחרורו של יהונתן פולארד ושאר אסירי ציון וכן בתקווה לקראת השנה החדשה שבה יישב עם ישראל במלוא רוחב ארצו בבטחה ובשלווה.
האירוע כולו אורגן ע"י תנועת נשים למען עתיד ישראל (נשים בירוק) בשיתוף עם מרכז המבקרים שדה המכפלה והאגף לתרבות תורנית, מחוז ירושלים.

Esther Pollard at the Women's Prayer at the Cave of Machpelah:
Jonathan's Condition Reflects the State of the People of Israel and the Land of Israel"
More than five hundred women went to Hebron two days ago, Tuesday September 13, "to meet the King in the field" in the middle of the month of Elul, to summon the Patriarchs and the Matriarchs for prayer from the depths of the heart, for the release of Jonathan Pollard and to strengthen Eretz Israel. One after the other, the buses arrived from throughout Israel. The women and girls left the buses to climb the steps of the Cave of Machpelah and the steps of prayer.
The prayer that Esther Pollard uttered in the Cave of Machpela reached the gates of Heaven and the chambers of the heart, and tears could be seen in many an eye.
Esther spoke very emotionally about Jonathan's condition as reflecting the condition of the people of Israel and the land of Israel. Of course, Esther spoke about Jonathan's medical state, and his need for health and redemption.
The women spent the remainder of the evening in the Machpela Visitors' Center at the foot of the Cave. First, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar screened a film on the daily struggle for the redemption of lands that is being waged by the Women in Green movement on the hills of Judea. Afterwards, the women enjoyed the singing by Odelia Berlin and Keren Golan. Karni Eldad spontaneously joined the performance.
The evening concluded with dancing and singing full of hope and prayer for the release of Jonathan Pollard and the other Prisoners of Zion, and with the hope that in the new year the people of Israel will dwell in the full width and breadth of its land, safely and securely.
The entire event was organized by the Women for Israel's Tomorrow-Women in Green movement, in cooperation with the Machpela Visitors' Center and the Jerusalem District of the Torah Culture Division.

Electrifying event at Mearat HaMachpela!

Electrifying event at Mearat HaMachpela! Prayer session with Esther Pollard wildly successful! An overflowing crowd of 600 women crowded the full main room at Mearat HaMachpela (swamping both the men's and women's section and outer perimeter) to hear Esther Pollard speak. Pollard gave an update about her husband's condition and then about the power of public prayer, the mystical meaning of a public "amain" and the on-going role of the Avot in facilitating prayers for Am Yisrael. She then led the crowd in special prayers. There was a compelling, fiery unity to the prayers and when they were over, all of the women broke into spontaneous unified song, which was followed by tehillim, and a lively, soul-stirring musical interlude with Odelia at theMachpela Visitors Center at the foot of the Mearah. This was a once-in-a lifetime event! Amazing! Yashar Koach to Nadia Matar, Yehudit Katsover and Women in Green for organizing this moving event!
