סיכום יום 3 בגבעת עוז וגאו"ן ותוכנית לשבת
ביום השלישי בגבעת עוז וגאו"ן גבר מספר התומכים והמזדהים מכל הארץ שזרמו לגבעה. לאחר תפילת שחרית מרגשת בה קראו בספר תורה שהובא למקום ע"י תושב אפרת, ביקרו במשך היום ,בין היתר, הרב נחמן כהנא, הרב שמואל זיידרמן וסוזי דים ממטות ערים. שלומית נאמן המנהלת של המדרשה הציונית, מדרשה של סטודנטים עולים חדשים מברית המועצות, הגיעה גם כן לגבעה לבקר את תלמידיה הרבים הנמצאים כאן מאז היום הראשון ובכך מממשים חלום של הגשמה ציונית.
פעילות הבוקר כללה בניית פרגולה מעל צומת גוש עציון ע"י הצוות משה ואורי אורבך והמשך סיקול אבנים ע"י בני הנוער הרבים הפוקדים את הגבעה ומשתוקקים לעזור ולעבוד.
אחר הצהריים הגיעו עשרות משפחות עם ילדיהם לפעילות ופיקניק.
את כל הפעילות התרבותית בגבעה מרכזת הרבנית יהודית אפרתי, אשתו של הרב ברוך אפרתי.
היום יום שישי יגיעו לגבעה בע"ה חברי תנועת נשים בירוק לשמוע את הרצאתו של ד"ר מרדכי ניסן. פרופ' אריה אלדד יגיע גם כן ביחד עם נציגי הנהלת חוג הפרופסורים לחוסן מדיני וכלכלי.
ב10:00 יתקיימו סדנאות השרדות וקדרות לבני נוער.
המשך היום יוקדש להכנות לשבת בגבעה. ההכנות כוללות בניית ערוב, תאורה בטחונית והכנת הגבעה לקליטת עשרות יהודים מרחבי הארץ שהודיעו שיגיעו על ציודם.
כל אחד מביא את הציוד והאוכל לעצמו ולמשפחתו. תנאי שטח. אין בגבעה חשמל למקרר ולפלטות.

שבת בבוקר: 8:30 תפילת שחרית עם הרב אורי סמט ותושבי מגדל עוז
10:30 שיעור מפי הרב תומר קרזי המגיע עם אשתו חני וילדיהם לכל השבת בגבעה

18:00 מנחה
18:30 הרצאה מפי שלמה בן שלום מוותיקי מגדל עוז
סעודה שלישית
ערבית והבדלה
מוצאי שבת 21:30- מלווה מלכה עם יהודה לויכטר
לתשומת לב כל אלו המתכוונים לצעוד רגלית לגבעת עוז במשך השבת דרך קיבוץ מגדל עוז: השערים של הקיבוץ יהיו פתוחים בשעות מסוימות. עקבו אחר הפרסומים באימייל שיפורסמו בהמשך היום.

Summary of Day Three at Giv'at Oz and Ga'on and Preparations for Shabbat
On the third day at Giv'at Oz and Ga'on there were even more people from all over Israel who came to offer support and solidarity. Shaharit (morning prayer) was quite moving, and they read from the Torah that was brought to the site by a resident of Efrat. Later in the day many people came: among others, Rabbi Nachman Kahana, Rabbi Shmuel Zeiderman and Suzi Dym from Mattot Arim. Shlomit Ne'eman, principal of the Zionist Midrasha, a midrasha for students who are immigrants from the former Soviet Union, came also to the Hill (Giv'a) to visit her many students who have been at the Hill since the first day, thereby fulfilling the Zionist dream.
Morning activities included the team of Moshe and Uri Orbach building a pergola overlooking the area of Gush Etzion Junction and continuation of the work of rock removal by the many youths who were visiting the Hill, and were very motivated to help with the work.
In the afternoon, dozens of families arrived with their children for a children's activity and picnic.
All of the cultural activities on the Hill are organized by Rabanit Yehudit Efrati, Rabbi Baruch Efrati's wife.
Today, the sixth day, G-d willing, members of Women in Green will come to hear Dr. Mordechai Nisan's lecture. Prof. Aryeh Eldad will come also, together with representatives of the leadership of Professors for a Strong Israel.
At 10:00 there will be workshops for survival skills and pottery for the youth.
The latter part of the day will be dedicated to preparations for Shabbat on the Hill.
The preparations include building an eruv Shabbat and preparing the Hill to receive the dozens of Jews from all areas of Israel who intend to arrive.
It is importnt to mention that the conditions on the hill are basic. People have to bring all their equipment and food for their family. There is no electricity for fridges or hot plates.
The Schedule for Shabbat:
Welcoming the Shabbat with Rabbi Rafi Tawil and the evening Sabbath meal.
Shabbat morning:
8:30 - Morning prayers with Rabbi Uri Samet and residents of Migdal Oz
10:30 – Torah lesson by Rabbi Tomer Karazi, who is coming with his wife Hani and their children for the entire Shabbat on the Hill
The morning Shabbat meal
18:00 – Minha (afternoon prayer)
18:30 – Lecture by Shlomo ben Shalom, a long time resident of Migdal Oz
The third Shabbat meal
Arvit and Havdala (evening prayer and ceremony to usher out the Shabbat)
After Shabbat at 21:30 – Melave Malka (communal meal after Shabbat) with Yehuda Leuchter
Please note: all those who intend to come by foot to Giv'at Oz during Shabbat via Kibbutz Migdal Oz –
the gates of the kibbutz will be open during specific times. Read the email announcements during the day and come only during these hours.
