תנועת 'נשים בירוק', המובילה את קמפיין הריבונות שהגיע היום עד לבית הלבן בשיח העיתונאים עם הנשיא האמריקאי, דונלד טראמפ, מביעה אופטימיות זהירה מפגישת ראש הממשלה נתניהו ומארחו, הנשיא טראמפ.
"ראש הממשלה נראה מחויך ונינוח בפגישתו היום עם הנשיא האמריקאי. נראה כי מזמן לא קיבלו הוא רעייתו וישראל יחס אוהד כל כך ונראה כי גם בסוגיות איראן ויהודה ושומרון הנשיא האמריקאי מציב עמדות קרובות לאלו של ראש הממשלה נתניהו. האם אכן אנו מתקרבים לעידן הריבונות? עדיין מוקדם לשפוט, ובכל זאת אך נראה שהדברים מתקדמים כאשר עיקרון המדינה האחת נמצא על השלחן המדיני בגלוי ובפומבי", אומרות ראשי 'נשים בירוק, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר.
לדבריהן אכן מתברר כי צדקו אנשי צוותו של טראמפ כשאמרו לעמיתיהם הישראליים 'תבקשו ונכבד את בקשותיכם!'. תקוותינו ואמונתינו היא שהלחץ מבית נשמע היטב בוושינגטון. תהיה שגיאה נוראה לוותר על הזדמנות הממשל האוהד שנקרתה במשמרתו של נתניהו לו נאחל הצלחה בשמירה על ארצנו, ביטחונינו וזכויותינו ההיסטוריות והחוקיות, ובהזדמנות זו נצרף גם את תקוותינו לקריאתם ותקוותם של רבים בישראל לשובו של אחינו יהונתן פולארד במטוסו של נתניהו".

Women in Green: Cautious Optimism after the Netanyahu-Trump Meeting
The Women in Green movement, that is leading the Sovereignty Campaign, expresses cautious optimism after the meeting of Prime Minister Netanyahu with his host, President Trump and their joint press conference, where the spirit of the Sovereignty camapign was present.
"The prime minister seemed cheerful and relaxed in his meeting today with the American president. It seems that he, his wife and Israel have not received such favorable treatment for quite a while, and it seems that also in the matters related to Iran and Judea and Samaria, the American president presented positions close to those of Prime Minister Netanyahu. Are we indeed approaching the era of sovereignty? It is still too early to tell, but nevertheless, it does seem that things are progressing when the principle of 'one state' is placed on the table as a possible policy, openly and publicly", say the heads of Women in Green, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar.
According to them, it indeed seems clear that Trump's staff were correct when they told their Israeli colleagues 'Ask, and we will honor your requests!'. We hope and believe that the pressure from home is heard well in Washington. It would be a terrible mistake to give up the opportunity that is presented to us by the advent of a favorable administration during the term of Netanyahu, may he continue to succeed to protect our Land, our historical and legal rights, and we take this opportunity to add our hopes and the call of many in Israel for the return of our brother Jonathan Pollard in Netanyahu's jet".
