פעילות לשנת תשפ"א – 2020-2021
שמורת עוז וגאו"ן הוקמה ב2014 לזכר גיל-עד, אייל ונפתלי הי"ד. השמורה מזמינה את הציבור הרחב להיות חלק בלתי נפרד מהפעילות התרבותית וההגותית שבשמורה לצד חיזוק האחיזה בה. הנוכחות היהודית במקום, בין אם כבילוי, בין אם כלימוד ובין אם בכל פעילות אחרת, חשובה מאד ומסייעת לפעילותנו להסדרת המקום.
אנו מביאים בפניכם פירוט של הפעילויות בשמורה. קראו, התרשמו ושבצו את עצמכם. אנחנו מחכים לכם.
כפי שתוכלו לראות, לקראת השנה הבאה פתחנו אפשרויות לימוד נוספות בתחומי הנגרות והצילום. בחרנו בתחומים אלה מאחר והם משלבים עניין, יצירה, אמנות ופוטנציאל תוספת לתקציב הבית, צורך הולך וגובר בימים אלה של התמודדות עם משבר כלכלי לנוכח אתגר הקורונה. כמוכן יתקיימו שעיעורים לבית מדרש לנשים, בית מדרש לגברים, חוג ציור עם אביטל שרנסקי ועוד.

Oz veGaon Invites You to Join
The Oz veGaon Nature Reserve was established in the summer of 2014 in memory of Gil-Ad, Eyal and Naftaly hy"d. Oz VeGaon invites the public to join our cultural and educational activities. The presence of Jews here, whether as a place of recreation, study or any other activity, is very important and contributes toward our goal of regularizing our status at the site.
We are happy to present you with details about our activities this coming year.
As you can see, we are opening new classes in carpentry and photography, which combine interest, creativity, art and additional potential for income, a growing need during these days of coping with the challenge of the financial crisis caused by the Corona pandemic.
The activities detailed below include: the Oz veGaon Zoom Lecture series in Hebrew and also lectures in English on Sundays at 7:00pm; the Bet Midrash for women, the Bet Midrash for men, Painting workshop with Avital Sharansky, Carpentry Workshop, Digital Photography Worshop and details about how you participate in the redemption of the land.

4) Painting with Avital Sharansky
Sundays from 10:00 am – 1:00pm
Sketching, form, color – with water colors. Study and expression of attachment to the landscapes of our country.
The workshop has a special atmosphere – with an emphasis on self-empowerment, encouragement and inspiration.
An amazing experience also for those who (mistakenly) think that they have no connection with drawing.
Semester 1: Begins on Sunday, October 18, 2020
Semester 2: Begins January 31, 2021
The workshop will take place in the Zionist Library (White Tent) according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

5) Carpentry with Daphna Tidhar
Mondays 10:00-12:30
Five sessions, two and a half hours each session, open to men and women.
A practical workshop for working with wood. We will learn techniques for building furniture for the home, to design, plan and build. We will learn various techniques for artistic painting.
We will build four items: a chest, shelves, window box for plants, and a padded stool.
Dates: October 19, October 26, November 2, November 9, November 16
The workshop will take place in the Zionist Library (White Tent), according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

6) New! Course in Digital Photography
Wednesday mornings with photographer Meir Elipur 9:00-12:00
Introduction to the camera and development of photography skills, outdoor photography and use of additional lighting tools. Professional support – individual attention, guidance, practice and critique of work. No need for prior knowledge. Equipment: A working DSLR camera
Graduates of the course will know how to take photographs manually (not automatic). J
There may be changes in the schedule of classes. There must be a minimum of 7 and not more than 15 participants. All rights belong to Meir Elipur
An exhibit of photographs of Oz VeGaon will take place at the completion of the course.
The course and exhibit will be in accordance with guidelines of the Ministry of Health. Light refreshments will be served at each session.
