מקיימים הבטחה לפולארד בוועידת הריבונות
אורחי הכבוד בוועידת נוער הריבונות שתתקיים מחר יהיו בע"ה יהונתן ואסתר פולארד שיתקבלו על ידי מאות בני נוער מכל רחבי הארץ שהבטיחו את השתתפותם באירוע
ראשי תנועת הריבונות, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, מספרות כי מעבר להיות פולארד סמל להקרבה ומסירות למען עם ישראל וארץ ישראל, בקבלת הפנים המתוכננת לו תקיים התנועה הבטחה שניתנה לפולארד ולרעייתו, אסתר, לפני שנים אחדות במערת המכפלה.
היה זה במהלך תפילת נשים מיוחדת בה השתתפה גם אסתר פולארד עצמה, ובסיומה הכריזו והבטיחו קצובר ומטר כי לאחר הגעתו של פולארד לישראל יקיימו לכבודו אירוע מיוחד. "מאז הגיע פולארד לארץ חיפשנו את ההזדמנות הראויה להביע את הערכתנו והוקרתנו לפועלו, ומצאנו את וועידת הנוער בימה ראויה ומכובדת המבטאת גם את תחושת הכבוד שאנו כתנועה רוחשים ליהונתן ואסתר, וגם את הוקרת דור ההמשך של מדינת ישראל למי שפעל ודאג רבות לעתידה.
בתנועה מציינים כי *לצד בני הזוג פולארד יכבד את הוועידה בנוכחותו גם הרב שמואל אליהו, רב תנועת הריבונות, שיברך את בני ובנות הנוער*. *ברכה מיוחדת לאירוע נשלחה גם מהרב חיים דרוקמן ואישים נוספים*.
נזכיר כי באירוע ישתתפו ראשי מועצות אזוריות, מזרחנים, ראשי תנועות נוער ואישי ציבור נוספים שדבריהם יתמקדו במרכזיותה של ירושלים בקורות העם היהודי בעבר, בהווה ובעתיד.
*בכנס יושק גם מיזם 'ירושלים רבתי' הקורא להרחבת גבולה המוניציפאלי של הבירה כמענה למתקפות מבית ומחוץ על ריבונות ישראל בבירתו הנצחית*.
הארוע יתקיים בע"ה בשמורת עוז וגאו"ן אשר בגוש עציון משעה 16:15
Keeping a promise to Jonathan and Esther Pollard at the Sovereignty Convention
The guests of honor at the Sovereignty Youth Conference to be held tomorrow will please G-d be Jonathan and Esther Pollard who will be received by hundreds of youths from all over the country.
The leaders of the Sovereignty movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, say that beyond Jonathan Pollard being a symbol of sacrifice and devotion for the People of Israel and the Land of Israel, at the planned reception the movement will fulfill a promise given to Pollard and his wife, Esther, a few years ago at the Machpela Cave in Hebron
It was during a special women's prayer in which Esther Pollard herself also participated, and at the end of it, Katsover and Matar announced and promised that when Jonathan Pollard will arrive in Israel, a special event would be held in his honor. "Since Pollard arrived in Israel, we have sought the appropriate opportunity to express our appreciation and admiration for his work, and we have found the Youth Conference a worthy and dignified platform that expresses both the respect we as a movement have for Jonathan and Esther, and the appreciation of the future generation to a hero who dedicates his life for the future of the State of Israel"
The movement notes that in addition to the Pollard couple, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, Rabbi of the Sovereignty movement, will also honor the conference with his presence, and will bless the youth. A special greeting for the event was also sent from Rabbi Chaim Druckman and other personalities .
The event will be held in Oz veGaon Gush Etsion at 4:15pm
