תנועת הריבונות מתייחסת בחומרה לדיווח של ניצן קידר בערוץ 7 ( מצורף) לפיו באישור התקציב החליט הסנאט האמריקאי לכרוך בין קידום הסכמי אברהם לתמיכת הממשל האמריקאי בקידום חלוקת הארץ והקמת מדינה פלשתינית.
בתנועה מתריעים מהעלמת העין בה נוקטת ממשלת ישראל מהמתרחש בזירה המדינית.
"אסור לנו לאפשר מצב בו העיסוק במתרחש באוקראינה יסמא את עינינו מנורות האזהרה הנדלקות בוושינגטון.
על ראש הממשלה ושרי הימין לעמוד איתן מאחורי ההתנגדות המדינית להקמתה של מדינה פלשתינית, כפי שביטא זאת ראש הממשלה בעצמו במפגשיו עם הנשיא האמריקאי, ג'ו ביידן.
מדינה שכזו תהיה גם מכה אנושה לחזון הציוני והיהודי של מדינה יהודית ריבונית בכל מרחבי ארץ ישראל המובטחת, אך גם תהווה סכנה ביטחונית של ממש לקיומה של מדינת ישראל עם אירן על גבולה המזרחי", אומרות ראשי התנועה, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר.
"על ראש הממשלה להתייצב ולהבהיר שוב את עמדתו מול החלטת הסנאט.
לזכור ולהזכיר כי רוב מוחלט של העם בישראל מתנגד להקמתה של מדינה פלשתינית וכל פעולה מדינית לקידום מהלך שכזה חותר תחת אושיות הדמוקרטיה הישראלית", אומרים בתנועה ומדגישים כי עמידתו של ראש ממשלה ישראלי באשר הוא על ביטחונה ועתידה של ישראל צריכה להיעשות גם במחיר עימות חזיתי עם הממשל והחלטותיו.
"כך נהגו ראשי ממשלות העבר כאשר קיבלו החלטות דרמטיות ומהותיות לעתידה של ישראל, ובסופו של יום זכו להוקרה והערכה גם מהממשל בוושינגטון עצמו".

The Sovereignty Movement takes a dim view of the report by Arutz 7 Israel National News ( see attached) that when approving the budget, the US Senate decided to link the promotion of the Abraham Accords to the American administration's support for promoting partition of the land and establishment of a Palestinian state.
The movement warns of the Israeli government's turning a blind eye to what is transpiring in the diplomatic arena.
We must not allow a situation where dealing with the events in the Ukraine will blind our eyes to the warning lights that are flashing in Washington.
It is incumbent upon the Prime Minister and the ministers of the Right to resolutely support the political opposition to establishment of a Palestinian state, as the Prime Minister himself expressed in his meetings with US President Joe Biden.
A state of that kind would also constitute a fatal blow to the Jewish-Zionist vision of a sovereign Jewish state throughout the entire promised Land of Israel, but would also constitute a clear and present security danger to the existence of the State of Israel as it would bring Iran to its border," say the movement's leaders, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar.
"The prime minister must take a stand and once again clarify his position against the Senate's decision.
One must remember and state that the vast majority of the people in Israel oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state and any political action promoting a step of that sort undermines the very foundations of Israeli democracy," the movement said, emphasizing that an Israeli Prime Minister's stance, whatever it may be, regarding Israel's security and future must be implemented, even at the cost of a frontal confrontation with the US administration and its decisions.
This is how past prime ministers conducted themselves when making dramatic and substantive decisions regarding Israel's future.
Ultimately, they received recognition and admiration from the administration in Washington itself."
