אכן, אין עם כובש בארצו. זו השעה להוכיח ולבצע ריבונות
תנועת הריבונות מברכת את ראש הממשלה, בנימין נתניהו, על תגובתו הבהירה והנחושה להחלטת האו"ם בדבר ה"כיבוש" הישראלי ביהודה ושומרון.
אכן, מדובר ב"החלטה בזויה", כלשונו של מר נתניהו וטוב עשה כשהבהיר שאין בכוונתה של ממשלת ישראל לקיים החלטות מסוג זה. אכן, "אין עם כובש בארצו ובבירתו הנצחית, ירושלים, ושום החלטה של האו"ם לא תעוות אמת היסטורית זו", כדברי נתניהו.
לו היו האו"ם ומוסדותיו הגונים וישרים היה גם אנשיו מגיעים למסקנה החד משמעית ולפיה משפט העמים קובע כי ארץ ישראל כולה נועדה להקמת בית לאומי לעם היהודי. מעולם לא היה כיבוש ביהודה ושומרון משום שמעולם לא היה שטח זה נתון כחוק בידי אומה אחרת.
על מנת לחדול את העיסוק הבינלאומי בסוגיה שקרית זו על ממשלת ישראל לפתוח מיידית בהליכי החלת הריבונות כאשר בקעת הירדן היא הצעד הראשוני והמתבקש לכך.
ריבונות בבקעת הירדן קובעת את גבולה המזרחי של ישראל, היא מתבצעת על אזור בו הנוכחות הערבית מצומצמת ביותר בעוד קיימת עליו הסכמה לאומית רחבה עוד מימי הקמת יישובי הבקעה בידי מפלגת העבודה לדורותיה. החלת ריבונות בבקעת הירדן תשים קץ לשיח אודות אפשרות להקמת מדינת טרור פלשתינית בלב ארצנו.

Indeed, we are not an Occupying Power in our own Land. Now is the Time to Prove it and Apply Sovereignty
The Sovereignty Movement congratulates Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his clear and resolute response to the UN decision regarding Israeli so-called "occupation" of Judea and Samaria.
It is indeed a "despicable decision", in Mr. Netanyahu's words, and he did well by making it clear that the Israeli government has no intention of carrying out any decision of this sort.
"A People cannot be an occupying power in its own land and in its eternal capital, Jerusalem, and no decision by the UN can distort this historical truth", says Netanyahu.
If the UN and its institutions were fair and honest, people would also come to the unequivocal conclusion that the decision of the law of nations states that the entire Land of Israel was designated for the establishment of a national home for the Jewish People.
There has never been "occupation" in Judea and Samaria because this area has never been designated by law to any other nation.
In order to block the international preoccupation with this false matter, the government of Israel must immediately begin the process of applying Israeli sovereignty, with the Jordan Valley as the first required step.
Sovereignty over the Jordan Valley determines Israel's eastern border – it is an area where the Arab presence is quite minimal and there has been a broad national consensus regarding it since the establishment of the communities in the Jordan Valley by the Labor Party over the years.
Applying Israeli sovereignty over the the Jordan Valley will also finally put an end to discourse of the possibility of establishing a Palestinian terror state in the heart of our Land.
