המענה להצבעה הפלשתינית באו"ם – ריבונות ישראלית על יהודה ושומרון
תנועת 'נשים בירוק' יוצאת בקמפיין תקשורתי וציבורי נרחב בקריאה לממשלת ישראל להגיב להצבעה הפלשתינית באו"ם
בהחלה מיידית של הריבונות הישראלית על יהודה ושומרון.
"לא חשוב מה יאמרו הגויים, חשוב מה יעשו היהודים"
בעקבות ההצבעה הצפויה באו"ם על שדרוג מעמדה של הרשות הפלשתינית למעמד של מדינה שאינה חברה, קוראת תנועת 'נשים בירוק' לממשלת ישראל להגיב בהחלה מיידית של הריבונות הישראלית על כלל שטחי יהודה ושומרון.
את פנייתה מקדמת התנועה בקמפיין תקשורתי וציבורי מאסיבי שגולת כותרתו היא הקביעה כי החלת ריבונות ביהודה ושומרון היא מהלך הכרחי שאין שורשי, ציוני, מוצדק ויהודי ממנו. בקמפיין משולב סרטון קצר מהכנס השני להחלת הריבונות שהתקיים הקיץ בחברון ובו מובאים דבריהם העיקריים של השר דניאל הרשקוביץ, של חברי הכנסת אלקין, חוטבלי, רגב ואריאל ואנשי ציבור גאולה כהן, קרוליין גליק, עו"ד דפנה נתניהו, עו"ד איציק בם, ראש מועצת שומרון גרשון מסיקה, יורם אטינגר ועו"ד הווארד גריף. לדברים אלו מוסיפות ראשי התנועה, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, תזכורת מדבריו המפורסמים של דוד בן גוריון: 'לא חשוב מה יאמרו הגויים. חשוב מה יעשו היהודים'.
את החשש מתגובה בינלאומית עוינת למהלך הריבונות דוחות קצובר ומטר כשהן מזכירות את ההתנגדות הבינלאומית שליוותה את החלת הריבונות הישראלית על ירושלים רבתי ועל רמת הגולן. לדבריהן כפי שגל ההתנגדות והלחצים הבינלאומיים חלף אז כך יהיה גם כעת.
השתיים קוראות לפעילים להפעיל לחץ ישיר על לשכת ראש הממשלה בדרישה לפעול להחלת הריבונות כמענה למהלך הפלשתיני. "המקומות ההיסטוריים של עם ישראל נמצאים בסכנה ועלינו להפעיל מערכת לחצים על ראש הממשלה לפעול ולהגיב להחלטה באו"ם על ידי החלת ריבונות ישראלית ביהודה ושומרון".
באשר לתוצאותיו של המהלך הפלשתיני מצטטות קצובר ומטר את דבריו בג'רוזלם פוסט של המומחה למשפט בינלאומי, פרופ' לואיס רנה ברס, ולפיהם מדובר במהלך בלתי חוקי. "הקמת מדינה פלשתינית באסיפה הכללית של האו"ם תוך עקיפת החוק הבינלאומית אינה לגיטימית, נוגדת את הסכמי אוסלו ותוביל לאי יציבות ואסון לאזור כולו".
"לפני שבועיים ראינו שיש לישראל אמצעי הגנה משוכללים אבל לא תעזור כל הטכנולוגיה המשוכללת שלנו אם לא נפנים שזו הארץ שלנו. המלחמה על הארץ היא מלחמה צודקת ומוסרית. אנו ננצח בה. צו דורות פועם בקרבנו וקול ה' באוזנינו "לך אתן את הארץ הזאת...וגם לזרעך אחריך לאחוזת עולם"

The response to the Palestinian Vote in the United Nations: Israeli Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria
The Women in Green movement is initiating an extensive media and public campaign calling upon the Israeli government to respond to the Palestinian vote in the UN with the immediate application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria

Following the expected vote in the United Nations on upgrading the status of the Palestinian Authority to that of non-member observer state, the Women in Green movement calls upon the Israeli government to respond with the immediate application of Israeli sovereignty over all Judea and Samaria.
The movement is supporting this request with a massive media and public campaign headlined by the declaration that the application of sovereignty over Judea and Samaria is a necessary step. Nothing can be more authentic, Zionist, justified, and Jewish than such a move. The campaign incorporates a short film from the second conference for the application of sovereignty that was held this summer in Hebron, with the main statements by Minister Daniel Hershkowitz, MKs Elkin, Hotoveley, Regev, and Ariel, and the public figures: Geulah Cohen, Caroline Glick, Adv. Dafna Netanyahu, Adv. Itzik Bam, head of the Samaria Regional Council Gershon Mesika, Yoram Ettinger, and Adv. Howard Grief. The heads of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, add to these statements a reminder from David Ben-Gurion's famous declaration: "What's important is not what the Nations say, but what the Jews do!"
Katsover and Matar reject the fear of a hostile international reaction to the act of applying sovereignty, as they recall the international opposition that accompanied the application of Israeli sovereignty over greater Jerusalem and over the Golan Heights. They maintain that, just as the international opposition passed then, so will it pass now.
The two call upon activists to exert direct pressure on the Prime Minister's Office with the demand to take steps to apply sovereignty as a response to the Palestinian move. As to the results of the Palestinian move, Katsover and Matar quote the statement in the Jerusalem Post by the expert on international law Professor Louis Rene Beres that this would be illegal: "Creating a Palestinian state by launching an end-run around international law in the General Assembly would be illegitimate on its face. More importantly, however, it would also be destabilizing, and potentially catastrophic, for the entire region of states." (Jerusalem Post November 26th,2012)
"Two weeks ago we saw that Israel has advanced defensive means, but all of our sophisticated technology will be of no avail if we will not internalize that this is our land. The war over the Land of Israel is a moral and justified one. We will win it. The command of the generations beats within us, and the voice of the L-rd, in our ears: 'I will give this land to your offspring ... and to your offspring after you for an everlasting possession.'"
