אנו שמחים להודיע שביום שישי הקרוב, כ"ו אדר ב' 28/3 בשעה 9:00 בבוקר נארח בשדמה בע"ה את אריה קינג.

 

כשאומרים "אריה קינג" אומרים "ירושלים". לאריה קינג צריך להמציא מדליה מיוחדת- מדליית "שומר ירושלים".

אריה יצחק קינג‏  (נולד ב-1973) הוא פעיל למען ארץ ישראל בכלל וירושלים בפרט זה שנים רבות. מקים הקרן לאדמות ישראל וממובילי ההתיישבות היהודית במזרח ירושלים, חבר מועצת העיר ירושלים. מחזיק תיק איכות הסביבה ומ"מ יו"ר ועדת הביטחון בעיר.

הוריו של קינג עלו מאנגליה והתיישבו בקיבוץ עלומים בנגב. התגייס לחיל הים, המשיך את שירותו הצבאי בחטיבת גבעתי בדרגת סגן וסיים ביחידת המסתערבים "שמשון". קינג הוא בעל תואר ראשון במדעי המדינה, אסלאם והמזרח התיכון מהאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים.

בשנת 1997 החל בפעילות ציבורית שבמרכזה ניסיונות לייהד את מזרח ירושלים, במסגרת זו פתח את "הלשכה לפניות הציבור במזרח ירושלים". ב-2008 ייסד את הקרן לאדמות ישראל, שפועלת לקניית אדמות בארץ ישראל המוחזקות על ידי ערבים. לדברי קינג, הקרן קמה "בתגובה למהפך שחל במדיניות קרן קיימת לישראל לפיו החלה קק"ל לסייע בהקמת עיר ערבית ליד רמאללה". הקרן לאדמות ישראל מוצגת כחלופה לקק"ל עבור התורמים הפוטנציאליים.

לקראת הבחירות לעיריית ירושלים בשנת 2013 הקים רשימה בשם "רשימת שכונות התפר" בראשותו, אשר התמזגה עם פורשי הבית היהודי בירושלים למפלגת "ירושלים מאוחדת", ועומד בה במקום השני. המפלגה זכתה לשני מנדטים בבחירות אלו, ובכך נכנס למועצת העיר.

קינג הוא תושב שכונת מעלה הזיתים שבהר הזיתים מאז 1997. נשוי לשירלי ואב לשישה.

קינג היה ממובילי השתדלנות הציבורית למען שיקום בית הקברות בהר הזיתים, בין השאר ייסד את הילולת רבי עובדיה מברטנורא, בג' בסיוון. גייס בתי ספר וישיבות תיכוניות למבצעי ניקיון ושיקום של חלקות קבורה עתיקות בהר הזיתים. בשנת 2006 בהיותו עובד עמותת אלע"ד יזם את פרויקט מיפוי ותיעוד הקברים בהר הזיתים, פרויקט זה הגיע לשלביו הסופיים בשנת 2010 והוא מנוהל על ידי עמותת אלע"ד.

בשנים האחרונות הוא ממובילי ההתיישבות היהודית במזרח ירושלים. הקרן לאדמות ישראל בניהולו של קינג רוכשת נכסים בשכונות שונות כגון נחלת שמעון, שער המזרח, בית צפאפא, הר הזיתים, העיר העתיקה ועוד, ואז מאכלסת אותם בזוגות צעירים.

החל משנת 2004 הגיש אריה קינג עשרות עתירות לבג"ץ כנגד רשויות המדינה השונות אשר מתרשלות לטענתו בהחלת הריבונות הישראלית על שכונות במזרח ירושלים.

אריה ידבר בשדמה בנושא "המאבק על ריבונות במזרח ירושלים". כולם באים.

ננטש ב2006. ערבים ופעילים בינלאומיים לוטשים את עיניהם לגבעה כדי לנתק  את הרצף היהודי בין ירושלים לגוש עציון.  ב2010, לאחר פעילות אינטנסיבית של נשים בירוק והועד למען שדמה יהודית, צה"ל חוזר לשדמה.

חברי נשם בירוק והועד למען שדמה יהודית פועלים בשדמה כבר שש שנים להגברת הנוכחות היהודית במקום.

Friday in Shdema with Arieh King

 

We are happy to announce that this coming Friday March 28^th at 9:00 am please G-d, we will host Arieh King in Shdema.

 

When one says "Arieh King" one says "Jerusalem". A special medal needs to be invented for Arieh King-  the medal of "Keeper of Jerusalem."

Arieh Isaac King (born in 1973 ) is active for the Land of Israel in general and Jerusalem in particular years for many years. He founded the Israel Land Fund , he is one of the  leaders of Jewish settlement in East Jerusalem, and lately became a Jerusalem city council member . He is the environment Portfolio Holder and acting chairman of the security committee in the city.

King 's parents came from England and settled in the Negev kibbutz youth . Enlisted in the Navy , he continued his military service in the Givati ​​Brigade lieutenant and completed in the undercover unit of  "Samson " . King holds a BA in Political Science , Islam and the Middle East from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

In 1997 he started his public activity with attempts to bring Jews to East Jerusalem , as part of this he opened the " Consumer Ombudsman Bureau in East Jerusalem." In 2008 he founded the Israel Land Fund , which operates to buy land in Israel held by the Arabs. According to King his Fund was established " in response to the reversal in policy by the JNF whereby the JNF started helping to establish an Arab town near Ramallah ." King's  Israel Land Fund is presented as an alternative to the JNF for potential donors .

Towards the Jerusalem municipal elections in 2013 he established a list of the outlying Jerusalem neighborhoods , which merged with the former members of the Jewish Home Party " united Jerusalem ". The party won two seats in the elections , and thus King entered the city council.

Arieh King is a resident of Ma'ale Hazeitim on the mount of Olives since 1997.  Married to Shirli, they have  six children .

King was one of the leaders of the public lobbying for the restoration of the cemetery on the Mount of Olives . He organized that schools and yeshivot  would be part of a large cleaning operation and restoration of ancient burial plots on the Mount of Olives. In 2006 when he was working in the Elad Association , he launched the identification and documentation of graves on the Mount of Olives, this project has reached its final stages in 2010 and is administered by the Elad Association .

In recent years King is one of the leaders of Jewish settlement in East Jerusalem. The Israel Land Fund managed by King acquires properties in various neighborhoods such as Nachalat Shimon, Beit Tzafafa , Mount of Olives , the Old City and more. After purchasing the houses, King populates them with young couples ..

From 2004 Arieh King filed dozens of petitions to the High Court against various state agencies who were negligent to claims of Israeli sovereignty over East Jerusalem neighborhoods .

Arieh King will speak this coming Friday in Shdema about "The struggle for Sovereignty in Jerusalem". The lecture will be in Hebrew with simultaneous translation to English.

Shdema is a military base located between Har Homa and Tekoa.

Abandoned by the IDF in 2006. Arabs, aided by international anti-Israeli NGO's , have set their sight on the hill in order to interrupt the Jewish continuity between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion. In 2010, after Women in Green and the Committee for a Jewish Shdema got involved intensely, the IDF returned to Shdema. Women in Green and the Committee for a Jewish Shdema have been active in Shdema for the past six years to intensify the Jewish presence at the site.

 

Shdema is accessible by private vehicles. Organized rides will be provided based on preregistration.
