שישי בשדמה עם פרופ' משה קופל
ביום שישי הקרוב, י"ב אדר ב' 14/3 בשעה 9:00 בבוקר נארח בשדמה בע"ה את פרופ' משה קופל.
פרופ' משה קוֹפֶּל הוא פרופסור למדעי המחשב באוניברסיטת בר-אילן.
משה קופל נולד בניו יורק למשפחה חרדית של חסידי גור. קיבל תואר דוקטור מאוניברסיטת ניו יורק, ואחר כך הצטרף למכון למחקר מתקדם בפרינסטון.
פרופ' קופל עלה לארץ והיום מתגורר עם משפחתו באפרת אשר בגוש עציון.
עוסק בלמידה חישובית . בשנת 2012 הקים פרופ' קופל את פורום קהלת, עמותה הפועלת "לעיגון מעמד הקבע של ישראל כמדינת הלאום של העם היהודי.
בכנס שנערך ע"י הפורום ביום 23 בפברואר 2014 בפורום קהלת בנושא "מעמדה של ישראל כמדינת הלאום של העם היהודי, לקראת עיגון חוקתי" התקיים מושב בהנחיית מזכיר הממשלה לשעבר עו"ד צבי האוזר, עמית בכיר בפורום, ובהשתתפותם של שרי המשפטים, הכלכלה, החינוך והפנים.
פרופ' משה קופל ירצה על הנושא "יוזמות חקיקה ציוניות חדשות". הרצאה שאסור לפספס.

FRIDAY IN SHDEMA WITH PROF. MOSHE KOPPEL
This coming Friday March 14th at 9:00 am we will , please G-d, host Prof Moshe Koppel in Shdema.
Prof. Moshe Koppel is a professor of computer science at Bar - Ilan University.
Moshe Koppel was born in New York , in an Orthodox family of Gur Hasidim .
He received a Ph.D. from New York University and then joined the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton.
Prof. Koppel moved to Israel with his family and now lives in Efrat in Gush Etzion .
In 2012 Professor Koppel founded the Forum Kohelet , a nonprofit organization that works " to anchor the final status of Israel as the national homeland of the Jewish people" ..
On February 23, 2014 Kohelet held a conference about " the status of Israel as the national homeland of the Jewish people , prior to the constitutional grounding ". The session was moderated by former Cabinet Secretary Zvi Hauser , a senior fellow at Kohelet , and with the participation of the Ministers of Justice , Economy, Education and Interior.
Prof. Moshe Koppel will lecture on the topic " new Zionist legislative initiatives ."
The lecture will be in Hebrew with simultaneous translation into English by translator Drora Bat Melech.

Shdema is a military base located between Har Homa and Tekoa.
