העיתונאי חגי הוברמן שהיה אמור להרצות השבוע, ירצה בע"ה בשבוע הבא.
ב"ה זרם המבקרים והאורחים לעוז וגאו"ן , וביניהם רבנים ואישי ציבור, ממשיך ,
מתוך רצון להיות שותפים באחיזה בארץ ישראל.
כמוכן מגיעות קבוצות מאורגנות ובתי ספר מהאזור ומכל הארץ- לעבוד או לקיים במקום סמינריונים: בין היתר הגיעו לעוז וגאו"ן עשרות חברי הOU, משלחות מבני עקיבא ומעזרא, תלמידות מכללת הרצוג במגדל עוז בהנהלת הרב שוקי רייס פתחו את שנת הלימודים בשמורה, חברי מכינה קדם צבאית בני ציון מתל-אביב באו לבוקר של שיחה ולימוד, תלמידי התיכון 'ההמשך' באפרת באים מדי שבוע. תלמידי האזור 'מקור חיים','נוה שמואל', 'אורות יהודה', 'נוה חנה', 'אוריה' וראש צורים גם הגיעו ומתכננים להגיע שוב. גם מחוץ לגוש עציון מגיעים: בשבוע הקרוב נארח בע"ה את בנות אולפנת קרית ארבע, בית ספר חורב ומדרשת הרובע. בתי ספר נוספים כבר נרשמו לפעילויות בשבועות ובחודשים הקרובים.
אירועים ושמחות משפחתיות גם כן ממשיכים להתקיים במקום. בשישי שעבר הגיעו מאות אורחים לבר מצוה של משפחת זיינר מנוה דניאל שהזמינו את הציבור הרחב להרצאה מרתקת של גרשון בר כוכבא. ביום שישי הקרוב תתקיים חלאק'ה. ביום ראשון הקרוב תקיים בע"ה משפחת מלמד מאפרת הנחת תפילין לבנם. ליסה מלמד , האמא של הבר מצוה, היתה בין העולות הראשונות לעוז וגאו"ן ובמשך כל הקיץ ארגנה את האוכל למאות המתנדבים. זה הזמן לחזור ולהודות לה על כל העבודה הקשה. ביום ראשון גם נזכה בע"ה לביקור של חברינו מAFSI בהנהגת חברתנו הבלתי נלאית הלן פרידמן.
כן ירבו המבקרים והאירועים בעוז וגאו"ן.
ככל שנרבה בביקורים של המקום, כך בע"ה נגביר את האחיזה.

Friday at Oz veGa'on with Stories and Memories of Hanan Porat, obm
G-d willing, this coming Friday, 7 Heshvan, 31st of October at 9:00 AM at the Oz veGa'on Nature Preserve, Yisrael Zeira, founder of "Rosh Yehudi",
will bring stories and memories of Hanan Porat, obm.
His lecture is entitled: "Returning to the Land, returning to ourselves".

Journalist Hagai Huberman, who was scheduled to give a lecture this week, will give his lecture next week, b"H.
Thank G-d, the stream of visitors and guests to Oz veGa'on continues, and among them are rabbis and public figures, who all come from their desire to be partners in the activities of holding on to the Land of Israel.
There are also organized groups that come, as well as groups from schools from the area and from throughout the Land – to work or to hold seminars at the site: among others, dozens of members from the OU came, as well as delegations from B'nei Akiva and Ezra and women students from Herzog College in Migdal Oz, under the leadership of Rabbi Shuki Reis, who began the academic year at Oz veGaon, members of the military preparatory school B'nei Tzion from Tel Aviv came for a morning of conversations and learning, while students of the Hemshech High School in Efrat come every week. Local students from Makor Chaim, Neve Shmuel, Orot Yehuda, Neve Hana, Orya and Rosh Tzurim also came and plan to come again. People also came from outside of the Gush Etzion area: this week, G-d willing, we will host the female students from Horev School and HaRova Midrasha as well as the Kiryat Arba Ulpana. Additional schools have already registered for activities at Oz veGaon in the coming weeks and months.
Events and family celebrations also continue to be held at the site. Last Friday, hundreds of guests came for the Bar Mitzvah of the Zayner family from Neve Daniel. They invited the public at large to the fascinating lecture of Gershon Bar Kochba. This coming Friday, a Halake ceremonywill be held ( a ceremonial first haircut when a boy turns three years old and he officially begins his Torah education) . This coming Sunday, G-d willing, the son of the Melamed family from Efrat will come to lay tefillin (phylacteries). Lisa Melamed, the mother of the bar mitzvah boy, was among those who came first to Oz veGa'on and during the entire summer she arranged for food for the hundreds of volunteers. Now is the time to thank her again for all of her hard work. On Sunday, G-d willing, we will also merit a visit from our friends of AFSI (Americans for a Safe Israel) under the leadership of our tireless friend Helen Friedman.
May the events and celebrations occur with greater and greater frequency at Oz veGa'on.
The more visitors that come to the place, the greater will our hold be on the Land, G-d willing.
