2)עצמאות עם משמעות בעוז וגאו"ן
עוד מעט שנתיים לעלייתנו לשמורת עוז וגאו"ן. העלייה באה לציין – צומחים מתוך הכאב.
ב"ה עוז וגאו"ן מהווה מקום לצמיחה של שמחה, של חינוך, של הנאה מהטבע הנפלא של אזורינו, מזג אוויר וצמחיה.
בנוסף יש מתקנים לילדים וביום עצמאות תהיה פינת ליטוף בעלי חיים מהשעה 11:00 עד 16:00 (ללא תשלום).
בואו להינות. הנוכחות היהודית מצמיחה ומחזקת את ההיאחזות בארץ ישראל.
ביער תמצאו לנוחותכם: פינות מנגל, מים, בית כנסת, מתקנים לילדים, שירותים.

3)שישי בעוז וגאו"ן עם אל"מ (מיל.) משה פלד
בין תאריו של האלוף-משנה במילואים משה פלד 71)) ניתן למנות את אלה: בן וחבר קיבוץ בית-השיטה, מפקד-לשעבר של חטיבת טנקים; חבר כנסת לשעבר מטעם תנועת "צומת" של רפול ז"ל; פעיל מרכזי מטעם "הבית היהודי"; גבאי ושמש בית הכנסת בקיבוצו, בית כנסת שהוא הקים; מתנדב בלתי-נלאה.
פלד, בנו של אחד ממייסדי בית השיטה, התגייס לצנחנים ובמסגרת החטיבה היה בין הלוחמים על שחרור ירושלים במלחמת ששת הימים ובין צולחי תעלת סואץ במלחמת יום כיפור. בעקבותיה עבר הסבה לטנקים והפך לאיש שריון. גם בגילו ממשיך אל״מ במיל׳ פלד לשרת במילואים כנהג מוביל טנקים. 48 יום שירת במבצע צוק איתן בהיותו בן 69.
משה פלד, ידיד שלנו זה שנים רבות, ידבר בעוז וגאו"ן ביום שישי הקרוב, ה' אייר בשעה 9:00 על הנושא: התלם האחרון של המחרשה יקבע את גבולות מדינת ישראל.

1)Eve of Remembrance Day at Oz veGaon
You are hereby invited to an evening of song and poetry, pain and companionship, grief mingled with hope. Accompanied by guitar and keyboards and illustrated by a slide presentation.
The evening of Remembrance Day, Tuesday, the 2nd of Iyar, May 10th, at 20:30 at the Oz veGaon Nature Preserve.

2)A Meaningful Independence Day at Oz veGaon
It will shortly be two years since we have ascended to Oz veGaon. This ascent signifies a process of growth out of pain.
B"H, Oz veGaon is a place where things grow: joy, education, enjoyment of the wondrous nature of our area, pleasant climate and greenery.
There is, as well, playground equipment for children and on Independence Day there will be a small petting zoo from 11:00 am to 4:00pm (free of charge).
Come and enjoy! Our Jewish presence promotes the growth and continued strengthening of our hold in the Land of Israel.
In the forest you will find these conveniences: places to barbecue, water, a synagogue, playground equipment for children, lavatories.
Come joyfully to an Independence Day full of meaning!
3) Friday at Oz veGaon with Col. (Reserves) Moshe Peled
Col. Moshe Peled (71) can be described in many ways. Among these are son and member of Kibbutz Beit HaShita, former commander of the Armored Division; former member of Knesset from the Tsomet movement initiated by Raful, obm; key activist in HaBayit HaYehudi; gabai and shamash in the synagogue of his kibbutz, a synagogue that he founded; a tireless volunteer.
Peled, the son of one of the founders of Beit HaShita, enlisted to the paratroopers and within this framework, was among the fighters who liberated Jerusalem in the Six Day War and among those who crossed the Suez Canal in the Yom Kippur War. Afterward he transferred to the Armored Division. Even now, Col. Peled continues to serve in the reserves as a tank driver. He served for forty eight days during Operation Protective Edge, at age 69.
Moshe Peled, our friend for many years, will speak at Oz veGaon this coming Friday, the 5th of Iyar, May 13th, at 9:00 on the topic:
