הבהרה מאת תנועת הריבונות
בעקבות פניות כתבים מבהירה ומדגישה תנועת הריבונות כי לצד השבח על בחירתו של ראש הממשלה להשיב את שיח הריבונות על ארץ ישראל אל הזירה המדינית והציבורית, יש להתייחס לדברי נתניהו אודות ריבונות בבקעת הירדן והישובים בזהירות.
התנועה מזכירה כי ריבונות על הישובים בלבד מפקירה את רוב שטחי יהודה ושומרון לסחר מדיני ולהקמתה חלילה של ישות מדינית טרוריסטית בלב הארץ ולחנק מעשי של ההתיישבות, גם אם הוחל עליה החוק הישראלי.
כמו כן מזכירה תנועת הריבונות כי הצהרות ריבונות נשמעו עד כה לרוב והגיעה שעת המעשים. "העם דורש ריבונות בפועל ועל השטח כולו", דברי ראשי תנועת הריבונות, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר.
* Clarification from the sovereignty movement *
Following inquiries from reporters the Sovereignty movement clarifies and emphasizes that alongside the praise of the prime minister's choice to restore the sovereignty discourse on the Land of Israel to the political and public arena, Netanyahu's comments on sovereignty in the Jordan Valley and communities should be treated with caution.
The movement mentions that sovereignty only over the Jewish communities means abandoning most of Judea and Samaria to the establishment of a Arab terrorist political entity in the heart of the country and the practical strangulation of the Jewish communities, even if Israeli law was applied to them.
The Sovereignty movement also mentions that "so far only declarations of sovereignty have been heard. The time has come for action. The people demand actual sovereignty over the entire territory," say the heads of the sovereignty movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar.
