מקדימים תרופה למכה - ריבונות בבקעה
מול תכניותיה של איראן לשלוח זרוע מאיימת ואכזרית לישראל ממזרח, על ממשלת ישראל לנקוט בצעד ההכרחי של החלת ריבונותה בבקעת הירדן.
תנועת הריבונות יוצאת בימים אלה בקמפיין חוצות רחב היקף תחת הכותרת 'מקדימים תרופה למכה – ריבונות בבקעה'.
בתנועה מסבירים את עיתוי הקמפיין: מדינת ישראל עסוקה בדרום ובצפון אך מתברר שאיום גדול רובץ ממזרח כפי שתואר במאמר מקיף באתר ממרי: "התוכנית הגדולה של איראן: הפלת המשטר בירדן, תקיפת ישראל ממזרח תוך סיכול פרויקט הנורמליזציה המערבי-סוני". (ממרי 3/4/24)
המאמר מנתח את צעדיה הצבאיים והטרוריסטיים של איראן במרחב המזרח התיכון, ומתוך כל אלה עולה תובנה דרמטית אחת - איראן מעסיקה את צה"ל בגבול הצפון וברצועת עזה ובמקביל נערכת היטב לביצוע תכניתה המשמעותית באמת, מיטוט השלטון הירדני והשתלטות על עבר הירדן המזרחי בדרך למתקפה מטווח אפס על מדינת ישראל.
המאמר המדובר מפרט את המהלכים אותם ביצעה איראן באחרונה על ידי שליחיה וגרורותיה על מנת לקדם מגמה זו, בין השאר על ידי הזרמת אמצעי לחימה משמעותיים לכוחות תומכיה ביהודה ושומרון לקראת יום פקודה, וגם אמל"ח זה עובר ומגיע דרך גבולה המזרחי של ישראל.
בתנועת הריבונות קובעים כי החלת הריבונות על בקעת הירדן, מהלך הנמצא בקונצנזוס רחב בישראל, הפך לצורך קיומי, ומתוקף כך שינוי כל המערך האסטרטגי, המודיעיני והצבאי בגבולה המזרחי של ישראל.
עוד מדגישות ראשי התנועה, יהודית קצובר ונדיה מטר, כי הנדבך הביטחוני מתווסף לנדבך המשמעותי והחשוב ביותר והוא זכותו ההיסטורית הבלעדית של העם היהודי על כל מרחבי ארצו.
קמפיין התנועה כולל הפצת הסיסמא ברחבי הארץ בשלטים ומדבקות, מפגשים עם אזרחים, אנשי ציבור, חברי כנסת ושרים, פעילות משותפת עם השדולה להחלת הריבונות על בקעת הירדן על מנת לקרוא לממשלת ישראל לשוב לעשייה ציונית נחושה המהווה צדק היסטורי ומענה נחרץ לאויב, להחיל ריבונות ישראל על בקעת הירדן.

GAME CHANGER – Sovereignty over the Jordan Valley
Faced with Iran's plans to send its threatening and cruel emissaries to Israel from the east, the Israeli government must take the necessary step of applying its sovereignty over the Jordan Valley
The Sovereignty Movement is embarking on a broad and comprehensive campaign these days entitled "Sovereignty over the Jordan Valley- A Game Changer"
The Sovereignty Movement explains the campaign's timing:
The State of Israel is busy in the south and in the north but there is a great threat looming from the east as described in a comprehensive article on the MEMRI website: "Iran's grand plan: Bring Down the Jordanian regime, Attack Israel from the East and thwart the Western-Sunni Normalization project". (MEMRI, April3, 2024)
The article analyzes Iran's military and terrorist steps throughout the Middle East, and out of all this there is one dramatic insight that arises – Iran is engaging the IDF on the northern border and the Gaza Strip while in parallel, a well-developed truly significant plan is taking shape to collapse the Jordanian regime and take over the area of eastern Jordan on the way to a point-blank attack on the State of Israel.
Said article details the steps that Iran has taken, recently by its satellites and emissaries in order to promote this process by, among other things, flowing significant arms to its forces in Judea and Samaria in preparation for the day of action, and these arms also pass and are smuggled into Israel via its eastern border.
The Sovereignty Movement states that the application of Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley, a step that enjoys a broad consensus in Israel, has become an existential necessity, and would constitute a change to the entire strategic, intelligence and military array on Israel's eastern border.
The co-chairwomen of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, also emphasize that the security layer is an addition to the most significant and important layer, which is the Jewish People's historical and exclusive right to the entire expanse of its Land.
The movement's campaign includes spreading the slogan throughout the Land by hanging signs and distributing stickers, meeting with citizens, public figures, members of Knesset and ministers and joint activities with the Knesset Lobby to Apply Israeli Sovereignty over the Jordan Valley by calling on the Israel government to return to resolute Zionist work, which is historically just and a resolute response to the enemy - to apply Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley.
