שישי בשדמה עם חגי הוברמן- בזכותו אנו בשדמה!

 

בשנת 2008 כתב העיתונאי חגי הוברמן כתבה בעיתון "הצופה" ובו התריע על כך שהבסיס הצבאי שדמה, בין הר חומה לתקוע, שננטש ע"י צה"ל ב2006 אך נשאר בשליטה ישראלית C, הולך להימסר לרשות הפלשתינית .

 

עוד באותו יום נסענו פעילי נשים בירוק יחד עם פעילים מאזור יהודה לבדוק מה קורה בגבעה. לנגד עינינו נראה מחזה של מבנים הרוסים ונטושים ועל הקירות גרפיטי הסתה אנטי-ישראלי בערבית ובאנגלית .

מיד הוחלט להקים את "הועד למען שדמה יהודית" ומאז אנו נאבקים להפיכת הבסיס למרכז תרבות ולישוב קבע, עם הצלחה קטנה בדרך- חזרת נוכחות צה"ל למקום במתכונת מצומצמת.

 

אנו שמחים לארח ביום שישי הקרוב,בע"ה ב ט"ז אייר, 26/4 בשעה 9:00 בבוקר,   את העיתונאי חגי הוברמן להרצאה על גאולת קרקעות בגוש עציון.

 

הוברמן שימש שנים רבות ככתב לענייני  יש"ע בעיתון הצופה. מאז 2009 משמש כעורך השבועון הדתי מצב הרוח ומשמש גם ככתב המדיני והצבאי בשבועון החרדי "בקהילה".

ב-2010 זכה הוברמן, אחד הידענים של תולדות ההתיישבות המתחדשת, בפרס עמינח לחקר תולדות ההתיישבות הציונית דתית, על ספריו "שורשים בחולות" ו"כנגד כל הסיכויים"

Friday in Shdema with Haggai Huberman- thanks to him we are in Shdema!

In 2008 journalist Haggai Huberman wrote an article in the Hatsofe newspaper, warning that the military base Shdema, located between Har Choma and Tekoa, abandoned in 2006 by the IDF but remained under Israeli control C, was going to be handed over to the Palestinian Authority.

On that very day a group of Women in Green members together with activists of Judea went to Shdema to check out what was going on on the hill. We found abandoned and destroyed buildings with inciteful anti-Israeli graffiti written on all the walls, in Arabic and English. We immediately decided to establish the "committee for a Jewish Shdema". Since then we are working in order to turn the army base into a cultural center and a permanent yishuv (community). A small victory has already been achieved: in 2010 a small  IDF presence returned to Shdema.

 

We are happy to host Haggai Huberman in Shdema, please G-d,  this coming Friday April 26^th at 9:00 am. Haggai will give a lecture (in Hebrew) on the redemption of land in Gush etzion.

Huberman served for years as the military reporter  for the Hatsofe newspaper. Since 2009 he is the editor of the weekly Matsav Haruach newsletter. Huberman is an expert in the history of the modern renewed settlements in Judea and Samaria, who wrote different books on the topic for which he won the Aminach Prize.

Shdema is a military base located between Har Homa and Tekoa.

Shdema is accessible by private vehicles. Organized rides will be provided based on preregistration.
