הרב זאב סולטנוביץ בהרצאה שנייה, הפעם על הרבי מקוצק.
ר' מנחם מנדל מקוצק שנא את הבינוניות, כאמרתו "רק סוסים הולכים באמצע הרחוב, בני אדם הולכים בקצוות", תבע מחסידיו לבקש את האמת באופן חסר פשרנות, אף מתוך התנגשות עם החברה הסובבת.
הרבי לא היסס לבקר את עצמו ואת האחרים באופן נוקב וחריף. הוא קבע רף גבוה של תלמיד חכם בתורה. רוב מובילי החסידות הדגישו את "אהבת ישראל", את השמחה, הרבי מקוצק שם דגש על הקונפליקט שעל האדם לקיים עם עצמו, במטרה להגיע לחקר האמת.

Friday in Shdema on the Rebbe of KOTSK
This coming Friday November 1st at 9:00 in SHDEMA -
Rabbi Zev Sultanovitch's second lecture , this time on the Rabi of Kotsk .
Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotsk hated mediocrity . He demanded of his followers to always seek the truth without compromise ,
even at the price of conflict with society.
The Rebbe did not hesitate to criticize himself and others profoundly and poignantly . He set a high standard for Torah scholars .
Most Hasidic leaders stressed the " love of Israel " , the joy ,the Kotsker rebbe emphasized the conflict that each one must have with himself,
in order to arrive at the truth .
A fascinating lecture by Rabbi Zeev Sultanovich- not to be missed !
Shdema is a military base located between Har Homa and Tekoa.
