on the Battle of the HaBaha Valley in the Yom Kippur War, a battle whose roots lie in the Six-Day War in which he was severely wounded after his tank was bombed.
Kahalani links the firm stand against the constant barrage of artillery by the Arab enemy to the standing of the Jewish people today in the struggle for independence.
